When MCT came out here in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, it was great! There were two workers and they were friendly, kind, and chill. I was able to be in two of their plays. Gullivers Travels in Space and I got to be Robin Hood in the self titled play. They were great at teaching the dos and donts of acting on stage. They deserve these five stars!
I was a music teacher at Bromwell, a Denver public school. I had the privilege to work with Missoula for a number of years as accompanist. In one weeks time two actors/directors arrived, auditioned, rehearsed, and performed clever, humorous, and surprisingly original musical presentations. Their approach is professional, so some of the kids who audition dont get into the production. Oh, well. Better luck next year!
Took my 7 year old daughter here for the Charlie Brown show and we both loved it! I expected to be bored but it was quite entertaining. She had a blast and we both want to catch another show there again soon!
An incredible experience for our students! Ashley and Chris were outstanding and created some lifelong memories.
SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL AT MISSOULA CHILDRENS THEATER WAS EXCELLENT. COLORFUL AND GREAT ACTORS. IF YOU MISSED IT, SO SORRY
The show was great as always, we cant wait to go back
If you have a chance to see a show do so. There is a large pool of talented actors for the Community shows and with the Childrens theater based here they are continually cultivating the future of the theater.
Great place all round. Some time if you get a chance go see a play there.
Love the enthusiasm of the workers and stage crewsAlways a nice visit
Lovely but small theatre, when we went to see Calendar Girls they sold beer, wine and pastries. All in all we had a great experience all though the seats are placed very close together and you do feel a bit cramped. Still it was clean and had a modern feel of it. I would definately go again.
Such a great performance, very qreat performance for only 5 days from Casting to performance. Blair and Sam were phenomenal at teaching, instructing and controlling the 65 kids! Great experience from beginning to end.
We love coming and seeing the performances here. Incredible program in Missoula!
They pick the same kids over and over at my kids school. Be nice if they would pick people who have not. They crushed my daughter to the point where she doesnt want to be an any plays anymore. Thanks for breaking her heart and dreams.
Freaky Friday was awesome. Dont miss this play....
Had a blast at the Robert Burns poet night we took in two Scottish Highlanders bull and heifer. And the bull really enjoyed the bagpipes
Missoula Childrens Theatre is part of the umbrella of MCT Theatre for the Performing Arts. Such a great program they have travelling internationally with schools and other groups, and providing local opportunities and theatre training for youth.
They always give a good show!!!
This place is full of wonder and magic! It offers classes and opportunities for acting in all age ranges and abilities. The shows they put on are professional and put together.
Missoula Children’s Theater came to Parkston and put on “The Snow Queen”.Very cute play and very well done! We were grateful to be the host family to Chance and Justin. Remarkable young men. They are a true blessing!Love and prayers,Leischner Family
We live the summer camps! Also the plays throughout the year are fun!
A party of six was hoping to see live musicians! Unfortunately the best part of the play was hidden. Not all patrons are wise enough to realize the importance of live musical performers. Don’t cover the pit!
Love, love did I say Love? This place is a gem in Missoula. We are very lucky to have them in our community. Always great shows. Staff and volunteers are wonderful.
My kids tried out for the travelling show: Was very disappointed in the director. There were 52 students that tried out and 50 roles. They singled out my twins and they were the only two to not get a role. I would understand if other students didn’t as well but to basically remove my family from the production was unkind. The fact that several students wanted the one position of Asst. Director but chose my twins to share the position, who did not volunteer for it was kind of awful. Very disappointed!! I know I may sound like a bitter parent but if at least one of them got a moment on stage that didn’t Include moving the sets, then I would have been fine. They could have been a planet without a line. But as 5th graders, to not get a chance during the very formative years...made my girls feel really terrible.
I always enjoy visiting Missoula Childrens Theatre. I participated in a play with Missoula Childrens Theatre when I was younger. There are many different community events at the theatre, also.
Such an amazing program and staff!
Amazing organization. Plays are always asking. Building is gorgeous.
The production we saw was in very poor taste!! We did not appreciate the nudity nor thehint of it. Too muchskin showing for our taste.
A beautiful theatre with tons of camps, workshops, and performance opportunities for children and adults! Their plays and musicals are always incredible and fun to watch or be involved with! A great location for special events as well.
Had a baby reveal here. And having his 1st birthday party here.
Love taking my daughter here to certain shows. She has a blast.
Good parking, handicapped access, good restrooms, comfortable theatre seats. A beautiful theatre right in middle of Missoula. Childrens productions.
Wonderful programs utilizing local actors & actresses.. love it!!
MCT is both a Childrens Theater (shows starting kids) and a Community Theater (shows with adult performers). The level of professionalism is astounding for a town this size and I attend one or two productions a year and have never felt let down. Way cooler date than a movie.
Clean, comfortable, cozy, friendly. Great theater!
Great place great plays great people
I have worked with this organization for more than 20 years and they are truly world class. The arts are so important for a community and MCT brings that to Missoula, the country and the world. as with most organizations, the mission is important, but it is the people that make or break it and MCT has the BEST staff from the top down.
The Sleeping Beauty play was funny & the kids did a wonderful job on their parts.
Absolutely love MCT! Such amazing talent. Were always pleasantly surprised by the experience.
Always first class performances using amazing local tallent. Beautiful theatre. Totally professional.
Above and beyond Broadway quality and talent! !!
I watched The Sisters Act and it was amazing! At the end, actors came down and took pictures with us.
Went to see 39 Steps ..We laughed our ---- off. MCT knows who to cast, great sets, costuming, lighting ... the full Monty... so to speak!

Always great performances. Great to watch a play or musical.
Fantastic local theater with national reach.
Happy Days was the perfect performance on a cold gray January day
One of the best shows in town, especially when exercising their comedic chops.
