This golf course is so beautiful. It is very well maintained, and always a vibrant green. The course is extremely long, though, so a cart is definitely recommend. The back nine is very unique with three par 5s and three par 3s. When the wind picks up, the course can get a little tricky. The people who work here and play the course are very nice and helpful. It was definitely a great playing experience.

I loved this course from top to bottom. Youre surrounded by amazing views, and great approaches. Their carts are quite advanced and are similar to having a virtual cadie. One of the more pricy options in missoula, but well worth it!!

My wife and I golfed here today. We had a blast. Yes, a blast golfing. The course was in good shape and as difficult as usual. The new Finn Cycles they have now have completely transformed a round of golf. its a whole new, fun experience. We will be back just to ride the new Finn Cycles. Theyre very easy to drive, comfortable, make getting your next club super easy and speed up play. We will be back!

Awful. Wouldn’t let us play after we paid $305. This place is is awful besides the mountain.

Love golfing here more than any other Missoula course. Also love walking the paths here with my dogs.

This course is terrific. someone spent a great deal of money to create this scenic and very well thought out course. I really enjoyed it. they are going through some problems with their greens right now but are working very hard to fix them. every golfer should support them by golfing it and help them keep this great place open. one of the best Ive played and Ive played in evry state in the lower 48 plus Hawaii and Mexico.

They didnt give us a heads up that the greens would be closed...back 9 much nicer than front as they are really starting to pack in houses. Cant imagine thats good for home resale value.

Green and lush. Great carts and well maintained

They are currently using temporary greens in the middle of the fairways. Because of that, this was one of the worst courses I’ve ever played. There is also an old lady on 15 that steals the balls off of the rough. So if you see her walking around with a Vice 1, tell her, that was my tee shot and I’d like my ball back. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this course. Perhaps once they are using real greens it might be different, but as of right now, I was extremely disappointed.

Greens are in bad condition. Bunkers have dirt and rocks,and vety poorly maintained. And if you happen to be in one your probably not going to hit off (what you would call a bunker lie. Probably a solid dirt, ground lie). Just a not so wrll maintained golf course for how much you pay

Beautiful place in East Missoula. Country club living at its best. Nice golfing. Very clean and neat, well maintained. The best home builders are busy filling up vacant lots. All the homes are uniformly built, but with their own curb appeal.They also have a rifle/gun range. Big country club house with all the amenities. Very nice people live and work their.Winter they get a lot of snow. Wildlife galore all year round.

Played on an October afternoon that was warm, sunny and calm, which made the setting great. The course was even better. The service was very friendly and helpful, the course was in great shape. The design is very good, the layout is challenging but not ridiculous. The greens were in excellent shape, and challenging to read. I would recommend this course to my friends to play and I look forward to returning.

This has been my favorite place to golf in the missoula area since it opened. Very reasonable rates for such a gem of a golf course. I would definitely recommend it for all levels of golf enthusiasts. Also, the food is fantastic!

Best golf course in Missoula! They keep it in great shape and the bunkers are real bunkers not little sand pits. This course is definitely worth the money.

Great course, fun to play! A diverse yardage of holes from the back tees. Some long, some short, green roll true and the staff was friendly. I will definitely play there again!

Canyon River is THE nicest course in Missoula with exceptional staff members that go out of their way to make every experience worth every penny! The course is kept in perfect condition and is one of the most beautiful courses that I have ever played!

Beautiful scenery, great condition, but layout would have been a difficult walk and holes tend to get repetitive. Would give 3.5 if possible.
