The kids had a blast. Pizza was really good. However, alot of games were not working. All in all the kids had fun.
This location has renovated to eliminate the old musical robots that I prefer to a person dressed as Chuck E. Even so, the kids seem excited to see and dance with the person in a costume. Kids having fun is more important so if it works, my opinion doesnt matter. They have also improved their pizza recipe. It was actually quite good.
I went on Sun, Oct. 18th at 5pm... The staff is not kid-friendly at all and kind of a little rude. They dont smile or talk with kids they dont even know how to communicate with kids. Also, this particular Chuck e Cheese in Mishawaka is dirty and most of the games are broken and dont work. I definitely wont be coming back! Also, I am 100% sure all the positive reviews below are fake and produced by this Chuck e Cheese themselves. See for yourself.
We havent been to this one yet but a great friend told me it was a magical place.
We went to this Chuck E. Cheese for my daughters 7th birthday party. I got to admit it was nice to go here and not have to worry about food or bringing things like plates, silverware, cups, etc.. All we brought was a cake and they took care of everything else and the price was very fair. However, we were promised online that we would get a host to help with our party and help make things go smoothly. The host we had also had two other tables she was hosting and she was not real informative with us. I was expecting her to kind of go over everything with us when we got there so we had an idea of what was going to happen and when. She was so busy helping three different tables she couldnt do her job very well. Also I suggest that if it is possible to do a party on a weekday. We did ours on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. We got lucky and beat most of the crowd but while we were leaving around 3:00pm I heard someone say the wait for a seat was an hour and the wait for food was 90 mintues.
My son has just turned 13 years old today. Were having a ball.
Food tastes great.. Still too expensive for a kids place. Things have changed significantly since I was a kid in there playing games. You use a swipe card now & you win less tickets. Once again, a little on the pricey side but worth the excitement for the kids! Staff was great by the way
They took out all the smaller childrens play place. No slides, ball pit nothing for smaller children! Chucky doesnt come out except for a childs Birthday party to sing a song then goes in the back. He will not walk around for pictures with anyone. There no longer a band that sings songs, they replaced that will wall designs.
My family had a great time. The food took entirely to long. We hadnt been in a while so the changes threw us off but we still made it all work out to have a good time!
This paticular Chuck E Cheese experience was great. I purchased the Star party package which is $14.99 per child. They get a party host, 1 medium pizza, unlimited refills on drinks, balloons for the birthday boy/girl, 30 play points for each child, and a Chuck E show where he comes out and sings Happy Birthday and dances and takes pics with the kids. I was worried because I had a small party, it was just me and my significant other and our 3 kids and a friend brought their child, so I was worried it wouldnt feel like a birthday party where there is way more guests and kids. Fortunately the birthday package made up for all of that, the kids enjoyed the game play, the pizza and they especially enjoyed it when Chuck E came out and interacted with them. Kids that werent part of my party ran over to sing and dance with Chuck E, it was great and so adorable to see how happy those kids were to play with Chuck E. Now I did a walk-in so I was not suppose to have a host and my son should not have gotten to go in the Ticket Blaster but this paticular girl allowed my son and his sister to go in the Blaster and assisted us like a hostess would. She was fantastic and my kids, even my 13 year old kept talking about how much fun they had. The memories that were made will never be forgotten. Kudos to Chuck E Cheese for making my sons birthday better than what I expected.
Its ok. Has been going downhill for sometime now.
We had our sons 4th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Great experience! We purchased the Mega Super Star package. Our hostess was wonderful organizing everything. We will definitely be doing this again for his next birthday
They got rid of the animatronics. I went there when i was younger and i loved to see the band preform. The fact that you guys removed the band, i mean that ruined my childhood.
The staff seemed very into what they do. There were three parties going on at once at there was a staff member assigned to each one. They sang and danced and when chucky came out they danced and sang some more. They brought out the pizzas. The plates and drink cups were placed already before we arrived. The kids cups were pretty neat as well. The staff helped with cutting the cake and handing it out to the party. The two good play pass was cool. Unlimited playing and receiving the tickets to get prizes!
Great time with the little ones. Always check online for coupons before you go. Unfortunately, the animatronics are gone, but the games are actually decently priced, especially if you compare it to arcade prices.
The Safety and upgrade is FABULOUS and Family friendly.
Love the new look! Kids enjoy themselves everytime with the unlimited playtime. Great job on the stuff crust pizza the taste is a plus as well check out Chuck E on the pizza upgrade Nice!!
We were there for a birthday party of the friends of our child. We didnt try to eat anything there, just some cake from the party. But our kid enjoyed the activities area with friends. Not a bad place to be in cold winter or hot summers! Otherwise, nature is the best place for one to play!!
We were taking our grandson out last min for birthday get together.. And Im so glad they let us bring in our own cake and party favors.. It was a great time for him..
Most of the game barely gave the tickets that you had earned out. You had to hunt for someone to help you and when asking the girl behind the counter where all the help went her response was In the back doing nothing like always so obviously this wasnt just a one day issue of not being able to find a staff to help. The best thing they did for here was the all you can play deals. I feel as though you get more for your money this way versus buying tokens. My kids had a good time and my daughter enjoyed her birthday here.
Pretty good, its close, and we dont have to draw all the way to merriville anymore for chuck e cheese, this isnt even far away from home
Place has really improved, just gota have more machines up running for play cards
My kids & I had a blast! It was our 1st time there since it was remodeled after the fire. I love how now, you can purchase a game card to play unlimited for half hour, & its only $10
The owner of this Chuck E. Cheeses is only interested in getting money. They do not care about there customers. When I was with my son. There was a little girl (it looks like shes still in high school) trying to manage the store the best she could. But it look like she was all flustered. This is why you need to hire people with experience. It seemed that no one trained her for this position. I over heard her telling one of her coworkers to not take his time with the customers or at least acknowledge the customers. He basically brushed her off and started laughing sarcastically. I basically had to back her up. I told her. If I was in your position I would of fired him a long time ago. The employee looked at me got upset (rolled his eyes) and started working. It looked like they knew each other. Never the less if you hire friends or people that you just know. In a work environment there are no friends that goes out the window. You are coworkers and if you have to fire someone you know or a family member. Then do what you got to do. You there to improve the store not make your friends happy.Next is the food. They had fountain drinks and a salad buffet. It looked all disgusting. There was soda all over were you can get fountain drinks. The salad buffet looks like no one did any rotation of the food. Then I seen a little kid put hands in the food. How gross is that!?!I would not recommend this Chuck-E-Cheese to anyone or until they straighten the store out. Thats if they ever open back.
Went at 9pm they closed at 10pm got a hour for my girls to play no one else was there going later in day to just play games great way to beat the crowd a few games didnt work but other then that was pleased.
They have came a long way. Store is clean. Management is very helpful. We had a game issue and they were more than happy to make it right
Awesome! Place has been remodeled! I like it better.
They took care of every thing for my childs birthday party. Was very surprised at the level of customer service.
Extremely disappointing visit. We came here today on halloween to do something instead of trick r treating because of the poor weather and honestly I would have much rather gotten rained on than have wasted the 65 dollars that I did. Firstly every single employee acted bothered by us when we arrived. Not a single welcome or even a smile. Then I ordered the salad bar because I know the pizza takes a while to make, well it was set up beautifully except there was no lettice.. so I asked several times if they were going to put some out and they just kept responding with they know theres no lettuce, so I just eventually asked for my money back for the salad bar letting them know it was because no lettuce... I got my money back with attitude. The worst part was the manager, she was rude, unhelpful and lazy. Instead of just going to get the lettuce herself she gets food and sits right in front of us eating.... so unprofessional... it was 140 in the day, they had been open for hours. Also the marathon runner wreaked of feces, and that wad the last straw for us. We counted 5 employees and there was only 2 other people there aside from us... everything should have been perfect. Such a shame you have such poor staff because when we finally got the pizza out was great and the remodel looks amazing but because of how unwelcome we felt we will not be back.
It took 40 minutes to get a pizza, there were literally 3 customers in the building and I counted 6 employees. We had to ask for drink cups we already purchased. We asked for 5 plates, we got 4. The manager and all the employees had zero customer service. Every single booth was dirty. Pretty sure the whole place is ran by 15/16 year olds. Another Town & Country Plaza business in shambles.
This place is sad to say the least. The staff dont seem to care. Waited 25 min for them to put salad out then they didnt put the utensils out to get the salad. Every table is dirty and Im pretty sure there is only 1 person in the kitchen. And Chuck E. Cheese was suppose to be live and he never came out. If I could give 0 stars I would.
We arrived 30 minutes to closing...and they already had closed the kitchen...and the salad bar. We just got tokens so our son could play some games for his birthday after we picked his daddy up from the airport...so...why even post operating hours if you not going to uphold those hours of operation. I get that it wasnt busy at all...but come on people.
Went for a birthday party, friendly staff and a clean environment!
Too many people in to small of an area, had a hard time finding a seat. Went to ask to find a seat and the staff was very rude and didnt feel like helping at all
This place looks so weird without Chuck and friends. This is not a bad thing because it looks a lot nicer and new. The RFID system is nice for your kids running around and playing as much as they can. They still get the enjoyment of the piles of tickets they collect to redeem for prizes at the end of their visit. The pizza last time I was here was good, this time was amazing, the crust was perfect and tasted like garlic bread. The kids had a great time. When this place isnt very busy it is a great place to bring the kids.
To bad the stage is gone but hey theres a cool dance floor now. Cool way to bounce back and the kids love it! I just wish Chuck E was more entertaining.
Great place to take the kids and have some good food(pizza) and let them play games
I like the new game card and unlimited play feature other than that chuck needs to get his stuff together. I mean...if I were an employee/manager I would just figure Saturdays are going to be busy and to be prepared. Salad bar was empty and even though I let their workers know the ice machine was empty, it never got filled. Honestly, I didnt even find it busy to the point that work/restock couldnt be done. Many employees seemed to be looking for something to do...yah know. Oh well, kids had fun and thats what was important.
I have tried calling the store to ask a few questions before bringing my son in. Phone will ring for so long then go completely silent or call will just be ended...
Buy the timed cards as apposed to old school token style game cards. You know how long youll be there and the kids can run and play as many games as possible in the time you give them. And my kids ussually only stay an hour and get 1200 to 1400 combined tickets so they leave with something to remember, even if only for a few hours because they eat their prize candy
Nice upgrade...Chucky was not present
All kids still had fun and got to see Chuckie cheese.. It just all seems cheesy and cheap. Nothing like when I was a kid.
Everything was ok the person in the mascot costume was very rude to my little nephew all he wanted was chucky to hold him and he high fives him and keep walking qhen he clearly wanted to be hold by him
My Granddaughter loves Dancing with Chuck E and I love taking her and watching her light up
Great service n freindly employee
Kids had a blast, great place!
Cleaner than I imagined. No climb on equipment but lots of interactive video type games.
The staff is aimed to please to say the least...they ALWAYS try to make sure you have a great visit. It starts right at the front door, where they had 2 employees stationed, with a barricade that stops you immediately after you walk through the door. They stamp the entire groups hands with the same number. Once inside, children can only leave if they are with an adult with the same hand stamp as they do. It gives kids freedom to run off and explore without the parents worrying about them running off or getting kidnapped. Throughout the entire visit Chuck E. comes out every half hour and dances with the kids and throws tickets in the air to rain on the kids. Randomly throughout the visit staff members would throw tickets out like Chuck E. does. If games stop working and they fix them, theyll test the machine a few times and then give the tickets he won to the child waiting to play the game. And finally, if your child comes really close to having enough tickets for the prize they want but falls short theyll let them have the prize anyway. Absolutely anyone with kids should visit this restaurant/playground!
We had two pepperoni and one sausage pizzas, which were fine but not outstanding. The pizzas and 110 game tokens cost us $100. We havent been in a Chuck E. Cheese for three years. The games used to take only tokens, and they still could, but now youre given cards which are swiped. One machine I was playing generally refused to take a swiped card to keep the game playing so racking up a high score in one game was impossible. The business is readily visible from the road, being in a shopping center. Theres plenty of parking, but you have to watch out for big potholes.
Good food, friendly employees, lots of fun games to play.
Even though i paid 10 days before the cashier didnt put it in right. Showed up and no party boo. They set a table up. Took over 30 minutes. Seen host that we had to share a whole 3 times. Took 50 mins to get a buffet plate. Paid full price. Never ever again
I absolutely love this new setup. Staff was helpful and more games. Well worth it.
We had a great time at Chuck-E-Cheese and Mishawaka Indiana. Easy and stress-free for the parents and the kids had a ball . We all had an awesome host Mya. She was great and she even got chuckecheese to do the shoot dance with the birthday boy.
Its afun place for kids to have a great time
Really family friendly..love new games!
Been years since I was here. This is where my 5 year old wanted to go this year. There is great games for kids to play. Love the card system for games. Will be back!
Was at a birthday party and it went very well the staff member was extremely attentive . The children had a great time.
Had a grate time the employee was grate and pizza was good and grate prices
Great place more at bar
This was a disaster. Some staff were helpful but overall disorganized and the hostess was clueless. I felt sorry for my sister for paying so much for this mess. Got pushed off our tables before the ticket blaster and dippin dots...so we had to put 15 people in 2 booths to finish up. Time management and communication deserves negative stars. I literally had to run around and find the party mom three times because the hostess didnt want to. Sorry, finished venting. Theres so much more but this is enough!
Its Chuck E cheese... Its got the same band since the 90s, newer games, pizza was nasty, staff was really nice though so it all evened itself out I suppose. I do like the new play pass better than the tokens; I think you get more of your moneys worth this way.
Its good but the change his price of the keeds games
Poorly managed. I asked for a fork kitchen lady said she would get one never did. Needs better management. I do not recommend going to this particular location in Mishawaka.
They have made some great changes
Surprised how nice this place is. Clean and the pizza is very good. The price is fair too.,
Its not the same without the stage and characters up on it. (Animated characters) to me that was the best!
This place was dirty! Poor customer service. Which just came down to no one wanting to working. There is a cop sitting at the front door. Glad to have the safety however you know it’s sad if there need to be a cop at children’s place. While eating our pizza there was a group of workers standing around talking, using every swear word you could think of. We will never be back.
My kids went for there first time man that place is hot turn on the air conditioner we played for hours even went two days in a row so they could finish their points and get prizes the second day May 18th was my birthday but I didnt feel special my daughters birthday she just turned 4, 9 days before my birthday thats kinda why we went so she could have fun with her 5 year old brother it was ok points were pricey wish it was bit more affordable wed go more often ! Not sure the prizes were worth it! But it killed the thats for sure! The kids liked the dance floor that was kinda neat, but I miss the animatronics!
Nice even though people need to watch there kids I dont prefer going on Sundays either
Had a blast with my nephew
Gret time with the kiddos!
Its nice for smaller children. I was disappointed in the salad bar though...
My kid had a blast and had no complaints
Needs to be a limit on how many people they let in at one time. Spend a whole lot of money and cant play.
Aint worth a dam
Chuck E. Cheese’s pizza is being saved from other customers that didn’t eat it for another group of customers. And what are kids being set up for. Gambling. You win like one ticket so it doesn’t look like gambling. I personally say don’t go there and get sick. This is just my opinion.
Employees not wanting to do their jobs restaurant not that clean will not go here again. Bathrooms nasty. Dont expect to see chuckie unless you pay for a birthday party. Dont take special needs kids there cause they are treated badly
Had a great time everyone was friendly and helpful. The manager, Crystal was fast, nice and made our visit wonderful. Deffinetly will return for amother visit!
My daughter wants to move here i wouldnt mind
We had a great time
Absolutely love this place. Took the Grandsons and they had a lot of fun
Some machines are simply inoperable but the kid always has a blast when we go! I get to sneak in a couple games also.
The kids had a good time, the employees were helpful, the games were fun.
Took my 5 kids here a few days ago and it was a MESS... Bathroom was HORRIBLE. salad bar was HORRIBLE. My kids was excited to see Chuck E cheese only for him to come out and do NOTHING. I HAVE THE VIDEO BUT NOT SURE HOW TO POST IT. I saw a child super excited to see Chuck E cheese and tried to high 5 with him and all Chuck E cheese did was look at the child and kept rite on walking... I talked with management and also showed her the video like things would be addressed but NOPE NOTHING CHANGED NOTHING HAPPENED... in the future they need to choose better people to get in the suit. Someone thats going to give the kids a show they long for and a show parents pay for.. my kids and I wont be back anytime soon.
Chuck E came out & was like he didnt feel like performing for the kids today! Which is very sad, especially for the people who paid $$ for a party! I have a video, but it wont let me post it!
Run down. Half the games don’t work or glitch. Not as fun as it use to be. Not worth the time & $
Im foreal not trying to be rude, but this place was depressing, and wasnt as fun as it used to be. You got rid of everything the kids loved. Employees acted very bored, the mascot wasnt even thrilled at all, I spent 28 dollars on a pizza that we waited almost an hour on, and it wasnt worth the wait. It seems the quality of this place has majorly downgraded. You wanted to remove the animatronic band because you wanted to make the place more for kids now and days. The dance floor was so little and so bland. The band was 100 times better. the animatronics moved a lot more than the mascot did. This was just a major disappointment because it used to be so big with much more to do. Now its just only one room with less. I get that their was a fire, but this was just devastating to look at. I just feel like the prices are a little unfair for the downgrade of the entertainment. I seen more of Todays kids go to Mega play instead. But this crushed me. I was very unhappy of what I saw. Also, the buffet needs to be looked after and supervised! I see kids putting their filthy hands on the food and its disgusting. I work at ponderosa and we always have someone watching buffet at ALL times. Buffets need to be watched because thats an easy way for the spreading of germs! Also, it could need some switching out so the food is fresh. However this was a huge disappointment. The only positive outcome is that I got my pizza.
Was ok. Just expensive.
Always have a great time! Love the idea there are no longer coins to keep up with using a card to scan was a great idea!! Food is great also!!
The new all you can play during a time span is a way better feature than coins
Loved because my baby did
