Have family renting 3 separate trailers there. Some areas are better than others.

Probably one of the better mobile home parks to live in.

Have really gave the park a make over and management and maintenance workers are very attentive lots of new trailers to choose from few previously lived in trailers for rent or for sale plus the pond really is a very nice scene in all seasons. Residents are respectful towards others privacy yet still a community where its safe for children . Newly updated park with basketball court and pool area and club house with plenty activities to keep the kids filled with positive outlets.

I have to say I was worried about moving in here but the staff is amazing and I love my new home. I’ve been here a few weeks now and don’t regret it yet. I would definitely recommend this place. In fact I have a few friends planning on moving out here with me because they really like it too.

Office staff is friendly and helpful, maintenance staff is quick to respond. Lot rent of around $ 375 is quite fair. Nice centrally located playground and new pool. On the down side with numerous trailers needing to be torn down and removed plus to many open lots to count make it look like its not being kept up. Hopefully with new owners those 2 areas will be addressed. Update roads have veen paved

Always love the fishing there. Caught a nice bass and some nice bluegill

I lived in several different mobile homes here when I was growing up. Now there are so many inhabitable homes its just an eyesore when you drive through it.

Great place to stay love the environment

Trash. Potholes. Cops respoding to calls every other day. Unkempt empty lots, ie. uncut grass, rotting tree logs, junk laying around. Several unoccupied homes some condemnable. Excessive traffic. Domestic squabbles. Sad pathetic place. New owners shoved new trailers in before tending to cleaning up first. Greed much?

Not even worth the ink to fill out the application. We got a mobile home that has been in this park for the last 30 years by a family member and all we had to pay was lot rent and utilities. Supposedly our application was denied but yet the property manager said there is another option for you, pay a full years worth of lot rent and deposit up front and then youll be fine. What? Are you kidding me? Over $5,000 in one lump sum? Uh, Ive never heard of that one before! Pretty sure we were screwed from the get go because the park wasnt making any money off of the transaction of the mobile home itself!

I bought my trailer in June of 2018 and it took them till December to pay the back taxes after the trailer park was sold for the third time. Know I am in the process of fighting with the management over me turning the title back to Village Green. They have threatened to put a body attachement on me if I dont give them the title back. They are still charging for water bill after they was told that was illegal. Not a good place to live!

Place is a dump. Mold in most trailers and full of meth heads living off of others. Those who have nice places shouldnt have to tolerate those who dont deserve to be there. Used to be a beautiful place to live.

The new owners are attempting to impose some ridiculous new rules that dont make any sense at all. Also do not attempt to rent a trailer from them. They have renters agreemants that will break you.

This is the worst place to live. I bought my trailer cash in hand and wasnt able to get the deed because VG owed property taxes. We had a deal worked out where if I paid the amount and show receipts I would get the amounts credited towards my rent account. That took 2 months to do and now theyre trying to tell me I owe money because of late fees. I was told late fees were going to be erased from my file and they never were.Anything you do with this park, get it in writing.

Needing to get things worked out with the city of Mishawaka on water/sewege and start salting in the winter for real but the mamagement is really turning the place around and the trailers may not be the prettiest but the people are a much better community than its been in all my years living around here so thats a really good thing

BUYER BEWARE look them up on the news they are not paying the water bill which means residents will be without water come May 1, 2018. This is use to be a great place to live now the owners arent paying their bills even though the residents are And who is suffering The Residents

Dont rent or buy here very shady people!! I bought my home cash and cant get my title to home, because they havent paid there taxes on the homes. Matter of fact they owe Mishawaka Utilities thousands of dollars and our water going to be shut off and wont have anywhere to go!!!

Ive lived here for two years and own my home, which I will be losing thanks to the slum lord Marissa Julia Welner, the owner who resides in New York. Has not paid utilities to the city while collecting the money from the residents to do so. It is past the original cut off date for the water before the judge gave a short extension for the RESIDENTS, and she still has not paid, indicating that she was never planning on it. The management of the park know nothing and are kept in the dark, and 5 of those 8 employees stand to lose their homes and I presume jobs at the end of this month. Look for phone numbers connected to VILLAGE GREEN MISHAWAKA HOLDINGS, LLC, based in New York to talk to the cause of this problem.Beautiful thing, the only thing we have been told is that we will be evicted if we do not pay rent. What does that mean for us who own our homes outright? We arent permitted to move them out. And in case of eviction/not paying rent, its considered us forfeiting our homes. Meaning if we dont pay lot rent next month to a place we are being told we arent allowed to live in, Marrissa owns our homes again. :) :) :)

The Water Dispute Has Been Settled and there is and has never been a threat of people losing their homes. It was based on drama that was created unnecessarily.

Grr...this place just pisses me off...however, my neighbors are great and despite the negativity, I really like it here. We look out for each other and are decent people.

Took everyones money that was supposed to be for trash pickup and water and didnt pay Mishawaka Utilities for 7 months without telling residents and instead increased rent. Yesterday they said they sued Mishawaka Utilities 6 months ago, but still collected money for those services and withheld it and refused to pay because they thought they were being overcharged. Trash service has since been cancelled for all residents and water will follow if Mishawaka Utilities does not receive payment or come to an agreement with them. This place sucks and the management doesnt know what theyre doing. To move out, they say they need $3500 cash as a balloon payment. Even if your trailer is paid off, you still have to pay more to move. They say its something the previous managment shouldve told residents about even though its not stated anywhere in the contract. Anything breaks on your trailer or outside, youre on your own. Maintainence wont do anything and only helps people they know or are friends with. If you call and ask they say youre a homeowner now, so act like it.

The new owners and management have invested a lot of time and money to make this a good place to live they still have a ways to go to make it great.

I have nothing to say but that the owners need to pay. We shouldt be kicked out of our homes. If we own them we should be able to keep them. Not only is it a bad place to live but the photos you guys have up arent good at showing what Village Green is like. The lake is dirty and has trash in it. I found some ADULT objects in the lake which i did not move out because that would have been unsanitary. The floated back into the lake and i do not think that that would be a very good thing for a child to find. One of the pictures that is posted on here is a pictures of the lake but it even shows trash in it. And another photo isnt even of village green WE do not have hills that are green and we do not have a dock on our lake anywhere. So village green is not a great place to live the owners do not care for the people living there and are taking our money and arent paying our water bill with it. they made us pay for water after they stopped paying for it. They are just taking our money and need to give it back.it wasnt right to do this. We are gonna be kicked out of our homes because of the just let us pay for our own water and other things. we dont need a middle man.

Have not paid thier water, trash or electric bills since July 2017. Lawsuit St. Joe County Indiana 71C01-1708-PL-000276. Ownets sued in New York Federal District court 14-CV-5165 for RICO and pump and dump investor schemes. Rddidents here facing an eviction on April 12,2018 if they dont pay the bills due. Trash has already been cutoff.

Ever since they were bought out, things have changed. The new manager is a vindictive and mean woman. Im glad to be out of there. Too bad my friends cant get out of there any time soon. Plus, this place is a sorry excuse to raise a family.

Decent prices and safe for kids to play at either park.

These slumlords have been receiving money for utilities and havent been paying the utility bills with the money. The residents now face having their utilities shut off and being forced out of their homes. The owners of this company should be prosecuted for fraud.
