Peaceful, relaxing and contemplative space. Well curated. Went to see a friends exhibit of tiny works and was pleased with the experience. I will go back to enjoy future exhibits.
The Taube is Minots only real museum of art, and it has been one of the biggest reasons I like to call Minot home. It is easy to get involved as a member of the community through their biennial photo exhibitions and other community-submitted events. In the past, artists who win Best of Show in a community exhibition are offered solo exhibitions of their work--and this is what is so unique and special about Minot. There are very few places in the world where a budding amateur artist can have their work displayed in front of an entire city. I was offered this opportunity and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.If you live in Minot and you havent been able to check out the Taube Museum of Art, go. Take a look at what local artists and artists from around the world bring to the community. And you know what? Go again next month, too. Because it will be an entirely different beautiful experience with new art and new stories to tell.
The Art was inspiring and the space inside the building was well maintained and comfortable to be in. The Director was well informed and pleasant to be around.
Staff is super helpful. Planning my wedding reception at their venue and I email all the time, quick to get back to me. Theyve always got decent galleries.
Pleasant atmosphere. Free admission, donations welcome. Diverse, regular rotation of art. Good for all ages.
Fantastic little local musuem with friendly staff and great works of art.
