Great place to see old movies and prices are nice. Popcorn is very delicious better than the mall.

My step dad built this place in the 60s, and Im so glad to see that it is continued it to go on.

I am surprised but the back history of the building is amazing this movie theater actually was a band theater before the flood destroyed the building! Thanks to these workers we can now officially remember how much fun it is!

Great little theater with affordable prices! Love that they refill popcorn buckets from other theaters for $4. Friendly people. This is a nice way to spend an evening with family or friends. Seats are comfortable, too!

Worth waiting awhile to see a movie, when tickets are only $4, you get a very comfortable reclining seat with lots of leg room and a medium pop and medium popcorn are $4 each. It was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend going to Oak Park Theater.

Oak Park Theater is a nice little theater. It is a smaller, volunteer run theater (I believe) so the movies are played months after they come out, but its very cheap and its very well kept for a small theater. I recommend going here with a few friends to hang out, or maybe take your kids to watch a movie for cheap.All in all its cute and you should stop by.

Cool theater with inexpensive tickets. Popcorn is good, and prices on concessions arent to bad. The hidden gem of this place is the two pinball machines and the sit down arcade cabinet, but bring your quarters as they dont have a change machine. Pinballs available when I was there 11/16/19 were rescue 911 and comet

Cheap movies and great popcorn. Dont even have to go to the movie to get the popcorn.

It has very low prices and great service. The people working there are quick,efficiant, and kind all at once. The only thing that could be better is NOTHING. It is a great place all around.

I would give 5 stars but for the folks attending. There were people there that were disrespectful of movie watching. Cell phones glow bright in the night and are distracting. If you leave early, make sure your car lights do not shine towards the movie area. Just dont turn them on until you are ready to pull out of your parking spot.. if you do not plan on watching the movie, dont attend. Families with children seemed more respectful than the singles. Things that cant be helped are the frequent train whistles and smokers. The movie itself and people running it were great.

Only reason its getting 3 stars is because they are developing a trend of starting movies late (today was 17 minutes late), website times seem to be changed quite frequently.

Ive seen this theatre change hands throughout the years, and its always been a good experience with minor changes every time it changes hands. I was in with my daughter to watch Alita: Battle Angel, and I was shocked at how low ticket prices were ($4). Thats a heck of a deal. And thats not even the best part. Not only do you pay a third of what you would pay at the mall, the chairs are million times more comfortable and they recline. Id much rather wait a while for the movies to hit Oak Park Theatre and have a better experience every time. Huge shout out to the owner for asking everyone how they enjoyed the experience after the movie was over.

Always clean, staff is very friendly. Love being able to see movies on the big screen without spending $100 for a family. (And the popcorn is way better than AMC)

Really glad this place opened back up. You just cant beat $4 tickets. The seats are really comfy and they recline!!! Its nice to be able to take my wife to the movies without breaking the bank.

Reasonable movie prices with good popcorn

This was the first time I had been back to the oak park theater since it was renovated and I had a great experience. The entire theater, including the restroom, was clean and well maintained. We sat in the front row and the theater seats were very comfortable. The ticket prices differ depending on what time the movie is, but those prices are very low and reasonable. The drinks and snacks are priced much higher, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

I went to Oak Park Theater with the Daycare that I work at and the staff was amazing. The kids loved the food and the movie and they had booster seats for them. The seats are also really comfortable!

I hadn’t been to this theater since I saw ET here in the 80’s. Glad to see it’s open again and showing movies! Went to see TAG, and I enjoyed the low cost tickets and concessions. The seats were nothing special, but comfortable enough.

Love this theater and love supporting the Local guy. I work a lot of hours and often miss the first run of movies I want to watch. Thanks to Oak Park I can often catch my movies still on the large screen. The prices are great and the location is good. They have a wide variety of movies and the staff takes good care of you. If you buy tickets but cannot go, dont worry they will honor the ticket next time. They still honor tickets from before the flood! Take the family out on a cheap date and have a good time.

The Oak park theater just opened for the first time since the flood and it is looking amazing. Its completely redone and it was a great experience.

Great price I miss Minot ND and Oak park theater

Prices are very good for families who are on a budget. Popcorn is always fresh, the pop is served to you and the theater is always clean. I highly recommend seeing a movie here.

The sound was great and the picture quality was good also. The seats, however, make my back hurt, are to high to see full picture and they dont all recline the same.

This is my favorite movie theater in Minot!!! It also brings back special memories for me from watching movies here as a child!! Who doesnt love the affordable movie prices, the popcorn that smells, looks and tastes amazing!!! The movie being amazing and clear just like they any other movie theater. My biggest compliant is the chairs. They are down right the worst chairs I have ever tried to speed an hour and a half on. By the time you are half way through your show, you want to stand the rest of it. The Chairs are the worst, and the owner will not return phone calls no matter how many times you call him.

The price is cheep. It has nice seating and screen. You can bring your popcorn bucket from another theatre. They will fill it for you cheaper. So glad that it has been brought back. Minot is so lucky to have a theater that has good movies at a lower price. You may wait longer to see movies. The wait is worth it.

I love this place! The screen is as big as the 1st run theaters and the popcorn is just as good. Ive been a fan of the Oak Park Theater since I started dating in the late 70s, so I was very glad when it Rose from the ashes...yet again!

Not a bad alternative to the Mall theater if you dont mind older movies and the flat seating vs stadium seating. Of course the price and no lines is a bonus for a decent time out. Worth checking out on a nice day in Minot.
