Awesome local park, tons to do. Art and pottery room is amazing. Look up activities online!
A great Minneapolis rec center. Both in size and its accessibility. From ceramics to yoga to youth sports. This place can host it all! At the same time even.
Nice community feel from regulars/other parents. Their events are always great fun
There was a fire performance at the park!!!! A huge group of people put on this whole show for free! So cool!!! Oh, the rec center is cool too. Bathrooms and drinking fountains. Vending machines.
Great park, neighborhood and people. This particular playground is safety orientated.
Nice large park to walk around. Play grounds, fields, community center, and a large pond. Very spacious and feels safe to walk around.
I like to come here during both festival and non-festival days. Plenty of room for everyone and never feels overcrowded, even during special events. There is alQaedaays somewhere you can sit and have your space. Cool people live in this neighborhood. I drive 45 miles to spend time here. Watching wildlife activities on the island is fun, too.
Ive been in a number of plays housed here and been to a good number of community events. Always well maintained and staff is helpful wjen guidance or assistance is needed.
This is the park that I tell no one about!I dont want you to know its here.I dont want you to come here and hang out,or walk around the lake that has an island in it . Dont come here too look for Eagles, Red tail hawks, Coopers Hawks Egrets and all sorts of birds and waterfowl. If you knew about all this peaceful space to hang out in this park you would probably stop by a lot so please for my benefit dont come here.
The rec center in Powderhorn is a nice place for a hot day to have some fun their building has a computer lab for free use a gym and two vending machines the park is ok its play set is nice and the Mary go round is slow and dule and in all a little boring. They have a kitty pool that is great for kids and babys on a hot day.they also have a dock in the lake welcome to fishers. They also have festivals like mayday, national outside day, and more.
An amazing community center. The generally young staff is always very friendly and helpful and the amount of activities hosted is wonderful. There is are several conference rooms (one of which has pads for light athletic activities), a fully functional ceramics studio, gym with a stage and small computer lab. The best little known place is the basement where they have a full recording studio with isolation booth that is accessible to teens.
Came here for the first time today for MLK Day celebration. It was really fun and so much love in that space.
Had so much fun for may day
You can exercise, mind body and spirit or enjoy the beauty of nature. Participate in activities, take the little ones for a dip in the kiddy pool or watch a community basketball, football or soccer exhibition
The art fair is in good shape and the fare is better.
Real nice park rec center. Lots for kids and adults to do. Well maintained. Great staff
This is good place
Beautiful park, amazing modern playgrounds, tennis courts and a wonderful community center.
Nice city park. Easy access.
Good time. A little disappointed that the big roller slide and the pool were closed.
We have used the multipurpose room for my daughters birthday party the last three years. To rent the room is 20 dollars. They have tables, parking and chairs.
My son loves skateboarding here
Football end of season potluck
