This is an awesome new theater! Great sketch comedy, storytelling, drag, all sorts of stuff. The owners are kind and cool and it’s the kind of place where everyone is welcomed.
Very fun, sure to delight. Small venue, so there isnt a bad seat in the house. Easy to get to, free parking, and best of all: the entertainment is superb!
I attended a Comedy Sportz show here. The venue is an industrial space thats been converted for theater. It was decent for a comedy show, but the acoustics were a bit challenged by the high ceilings. Otherwise, its a nice little black box theater space.
This is a small theater hosting a variety of small acts. We saw comedy sports here and we absolutely loved the show, but the venue was just okay. Long walk to bathrooms, run down building. Its fine. Theres nothing wrong with it, but its just a place
Uber friendly and nice staff! Cozy performance space. People with accessibility needs should be aware that the bathroom is a bit of a trek - not in the theater, but down a long hall in the attached warehouse.
This theater is a unique space that gives stage time to storytellers, poets, improvisers, sketch comedy creators, and more. Take a risk. See a new show here. It wont break the bank, and you might find yourself going back for more.
Really cool, super small but the sportz comedy skit was great, would definitely go again!!
Nice and welcoming venue for improv and other artist performers alike.
I went to Strike Theater for the first time to see my first ever storytelling show and was absolutely blown away. This is a unique, intimate space where people are invited to not only be audience members but become performers as well. Classes and shows in storytelling, comedy, and sketch/ improve are offered at affordable rates. I was so impressed with what I found at Strike Theater, its a true gem!
Great experience and totally worth the price! Ive been here twice for committee sports, and both times were very enjoyable. The theater is small, but that allows for a cozy experience where you dont miss a thing and feel like you are a part of the show. I highly recommend going to committee sports if you are looking for good clean family fun!
Great place to see local comedy shows. Ive only see one show, but plan on coming back.
The perfect black box theater to see awesome performers do awesome and new things.
Went to comedysportz here. The venue is an old industrial building and well sized for small shows. There is a wall of ancient single pane windows around the entrance that I imagine get pretty chilly in winter... Bathrooms are a bit of a trek down a couple halls, but not too bad.
Excellent variety of shows on the weekend, kind of in a hard to reach spot, but absolutely worth your time if youre in Northeast.
A wonderful place to see shows in sketch, storytelling, and improv. The classes are terrific as well!
Small intimate setting, relaxing lobby, handy concessions. The show was a delight as well, I hope more shows in this space explore personal and social matters as strongly.
Saw Im Never Going to Earth Again: 60 Queer Plays in 90 Queer Minutes. This piece was a trip! Like being immersed in all thoughts dreams and ideas that go on inside your head over 90 minutes. A smart show that beautifully reflects this mad dark many facetedworld we live in.
Comedy sports is a great family friendly place I would recommend for everyone
Saw a very thought provoking show at the Strike...Rculture.
Street parking is plentiful, and free. The theater accepts cards, and has concessions!
Great spot, good shows!
Independent theater at its finest.
Great space with Stadium seating so there is not a bad seat in the house. Every seat has a nice view of the playing area. Definitely a theater to attend a performance. A Minneapolis-Must-See!Thank You.
Awesome little theater that supports great local acts. Definitely check it out if you get the chance.
Wonderful performing space. Would attend other shows there. Clean space. Queerdo was a great show to see there. Will go back again.
Every show here is a wonderful show!
Every time I go Ive had a great time and really enjoyed the show
Unique little spot supporting theater, storytelling, improv and art!
Fun performances and good acting community.
This was a show of impromptu comedy. I had my share of laughs, but I think I had my fill of this type of comedy until next year.
Awesome shows. Great people!
Very fun night.
Great staff, performers, and performances. This is a place to go to experience different types of theater and learn which ones you prefer (storytelling!!).
A great new theater specializing in spoken word, sketch, and storytelling. The owners are really nice and Im really excited to see more shows here in the future!
The play was so good and the kids from Labrador group is amazing!
Im biased because Im friends with the owner, but this is a rad space with great energy, and the chairs are from Nyes, so sitting on them feels welcoming.
The fifth wheel performers were super fantastic
Loved the environment and the show I saw was hilarious!
It is my second time and this time was for the MN Frindge. Great independent venue.
Comedy Sportz was great!
