I enjoy the variety of musical performances that The Music Box Theatre hosts. The history and architecture of the building is beautiful and so well presented (not outdated but also not completely gutted and replaced to appear completely cookie cutter modern). I feel that this place is overlooked and underrated. It’s convenient to get to and parking is also very close. I look forward to the next show they host!
I love that such a historical place for theater and music is being preserved and put to use!! There is such a wide range of artistic acts that come here. Theatrical productions, orchestras, bands, and so on. It’s becoming a go-to venue for people who want to see a good, quality show. Regardless of who it’s run by; you’re going to be able to see different acts and art from different genres, backgrounds, and cultures; etc. It’s a wonderful place and I can’t wait to see it continue to rapidly grow into another wonderful place Minneapolis has to offer for all things art and music.
What an awesome, intimate, architecturally beautiful, and historically significant venue! Ive seen a number of performances at The Music Box Theatre over the years, ranging from Fringe Theater Festival shows through musical and multimedia performances. The quality of the art presented and acoustics were superb.
I’ve been coming to The Music Box Theater for years. Fantastic historical building with a terrific auditorium! I’ve seen a large variety of events here from concerts, lectures, movies, comedy shows, and private parties. Truly a gem in the Minneapolis area!
The Music Box Theater is a great place to experience a part of Minneapolis history, as well as be inspired and encouraged by the current happenings at this venue. Performances are always truly heartfelt. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Spectacular experience watching Nosferatu! I watched the amazing artistry of the orchestra more than the movie. Cant wait to invite some people next year!
The Orchestra did an amazing job. They kept pace with the mood throughout the movie. It was a fun low tech evening.
I loved the show! The orchestra was incredible! It was a fun evening and I would see it again!
Great venue with lots of varieties of art shown here. Would highly recommend!
This place is amazing! Great thought-provoking art and performances!
This venue is owned by Woodale Church (Google it). If youre coming here for a show, prepare to be inundated with cult-esque propoganda.
Phenomenal and beautiful theatre!!
