I have purchased pieces from Jeff for many years. He exhibits at many of the fairs and venues I attend throughout the year all over the Twin Cities, but I also see him at his store in Calhoun Square.His work is whimsical, unique, nostalgic and easily recognizable. I can usually find something to get my Disney or Star Wars fix, or I can ask Jeff and hell go looking around until he finds something for me. However, Ive also purchased other fun treasures like the Banana Splits to Dairy Queen and Calhoun Square. Thats the reason I have so many for my own, but have also given them as gifts.Each little piece of art is made with love. On the back of each magnet is the name, Jeffs signature and the number of the magnet made. Yes, he keeps track of all his work! On the front of each magnet since the tragedy of 9/11, Jeff has included a small symbol of a dove. Its such a nice and special touch to his work.And speaking of work, visit him in his store in Calhoun Square. Youll see some other works of his and his friends that is just amazing.To top it all off, Jeffs customer service is top-notch. Amazing store! And lots more than just magnets. Jeff the Magnet Guy is pretty well known for his classic Uptown themed magnets and also has one of the best collections of original art by local artists in the area. Hes been in Calhoun Square for over 20 years. Anyways, super nice guy and great place to find fun gifts.
