I visited Mojo for the first time today to attend a concert by the amazing Seraphim, and it was a wonderful experience, one of my first dine-in experiences since the pandemic began. The prices here are reasonable, there is Kombucha on tap, the menu is filled with enticing options, and the entire atmosphere is l welcoming and comfortable.I hope to visit Mojo again soon for future shows!
Fun place that I grabbed some breakfast at while working in the area. I grabbed a breakfast bowl and a mocha. I forgot to grab a picture of it but it was very good. The toast was just crunch and it had a hint of a butter spread without making it soggy. Eggs were cooked perfect where the whites were firm but the yoke was running; so good. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the music playing was not top 40 but still pleasing and relaxing. Seems like a great spot to grab a hot drink, a bite to eat, and either have some good conversation with friends or relax to have a break in a busy day.
Absolutely love this gem of a place! Great food, people, coffee, and music. This is a must go place to relax, catch up with friends, or simply bunker down to get you work done.
Great coffee and tea. Very unique location as well, great for studying and working with some cool music in the background.
Reasons it’s worth going to:1) Pastries and treats are all delicious with a wide selection2) Strong WiFi signal3) They sell a TON of handmade coffee mugs from local artisans4) Their bathroom is really cool looking5) The interior is cozy to the MAX
I usually go to starbucks on payday, but I was in the neighborhood here and decided to switch it up, and im so glad i did! They make my usual drink here like 10 times better than starbucks does. Not to mention the inside is super cozy and cute. The person working today was great too! Ill definitely be back.
Great food and coffee. Beautiful interior, friendly staff and a good chance to catch live music
I like this local Northeast Minneapolis coffee shop. Its in the old California warehouse building, which has been converted to 50 or more artist Studios amongst other things and this coffee shop. The coffee shop is more than a coffee shop it is also an art gallery primarily dedicated to Pottery but not specifically there are other things here as well. It definitely supports your local arts and as you will quickly notice with the photos, some of those local artists are Sublime, worthy of collections. There is a pottery wheel in the corner behind a glass wall where one of the Proprietors a master Potter has been known to work I have seen him do it. The walls are absolutely covered with art available for sale, very Bauhaus, as in most of the art is 1 off brilliant coffee cups and other tool type pieces. Coffee is both strong and reasonable in price there is a wide selection to offer as well as breakfast and lunch, it is not a late night coffee shop. This place closes with the sun setting. After which youll have to go to any number of other places in the area coffee shops bars restaurants, youre in Northeast its a paradise of social Gathering watering holes of various types.
Place is very friendly and loves all dogs! Also the art on the wall is very well curated.
Amazing! Great prices, incredible ambience, and the staff are so friendly! One of the best coffee shops in Minneapolis/St.Paul area in my opinon
Great food. Great coffee. Staff was friendly enough. Unforunately, after placing our order, we were waiting for about 40 minutes with no update or acknowledgment from the staff. In other words, had we waited any longer, we would have turned in to one of the antiques on the wall. Everyone is trying to adapt to new safety guidelines and serve their customers as best as they can. As first time customers, we would really have appreciated more communication on how long it would take for our order to be prepared. We will likely be returning but will choose to order ahead to avoid any excessive wait time.
Lovely place and atmosphere with very friendly staff. Good drinks as well.
A museum, an antique shop and a cafe. Its so fun. And a great place for solitude or for meeting with friends. The drinks and food are great for snacking or for having a light meal.
This is my favorite coffee shop and light fare restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis. The food was surprisingly delicious at first, now I have come to expect it! I look forward to a return visit next week.
Good coffee/chai lattes, staff is pleasant, place is clean. Beautiful Ceramics throughout the establishment, indoor and outdoor seating plus live music at times. One of my new favorite coffee places!
Coffee was alright, but the blondie was under baked, and the potatoes were still crunchy from being undercooked. I’d give them another chance
I really enjoyed their breakfast bowl. The potatoes were cut so thin and everything was really fresh. The coffee was average, I got a capp. But the food I will definitely come back for.
I love coming to mojo for their healthier breakfast options and the staff are super friendly! they also have nice live music
My favorite coffee shop. Great coffee, food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. I stop in regularly to work on my computer. Their mellow music selection helps me stay focused on my work. They have a nice patio for use during spring/summer/fall. I highly recommend trying their delicious Mojo chili! Pictured: veggie omelet w/ rosemary potatoes
Service is excellent, food super tasty and good nice & strong! And I love their iced teaFlowers around the area are beautiful.
Spectacular coffee, baked goods, and loved the outdoor seating. Liked it so much I stopped twice during my short time in Minneapolis. Will come back when I return.
High quality food, drinks, people and a great collection of things on display.
Unique and fun atmosphere. Food was tasty and staff memorable.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Located close enough to downtown to justify a quick coffee break!
Its more of a art gallery. Which is cool however due to the placement of the tables is extremely hard to walk around and look at any of the art without one disrupting the other customers because the tables are placed so close to the art and two without bumping into people because the tables are placed so closely together and so close to the wall its near impossible to not stand more than 10 ft away and look at the art. It seems like a good place to work / study and had very basic drink options. However it did have a couple vegan options and different types of little snacks that were fun
Great coffeehouse in a creative atrs studio building. Currently displaying custom hand made coffee mugs from around the U.S. Very cool!
Cool things on display/for sale; blondie was deliciously full of walnuts; tasty maple latte :)
Amazing kind employees, Awesome coffee, Reasonable prices, Great atmosphere... If your looking for a great cup of coffee and good conversation this is the place to be!I order a large mocha and my debit card was denied because I was $0.14 short and they served me up a cup of joe anyway... Thank you and Ill DEFINITELY stop by again!
Lovely little coffee shop with great food. Good COVID- 19 measures, and airy patio for eating.
Basing this off only one visit, but I was impressed with the vibe and service. Art made of antiques and pottery on shelves lend to a cozy and creative energy. There a variety of chair styles and table heights, sizes. Warm and cozy, but with the perfect amount of air circulation provided by ceiling fans. Had to try the white chili and it did not disappoint.
Great vibe. Delicious coffee.
Always super high quality service and drinks
Omg, the food is spectacularly tasty!!!! Large portions, enough for lunch as well. Atmosphere fun & warm! Not expensive either. A lot for your money. Thanks to all that make the experience fun & flavorful.
DINE IN IS AVAILABLE NOW! Google Maps still erroneously sez dine-in not available. I called Mojo Coffee Gallery and dine-in is definitely available.
Great environment and fast, friendly service. Really enjoyed the space and the americano was 5 stars, made to perfection. Added bonus excellent music was playing during my visit. Came in to London Calling by the Clash. I will be back!
Never had such an amazing sandwich. Chicken Ban Mhi (sp)
Will give them credit for the nice vibe, chocolate cake (which was delish) and coffee.!.. however, the Huevos rancheros were PACKED with beans. Which were boiled, everyone knows that The beans are supposed to be refried. Tortillas, were undercooked and, the “salsa” which is the star ingredient of this dish; Was now where to be found Just so bland and flavorless. You would think that they would have bomb food. Hopefully they change their menu and cook... place has tons of promise
Great atmosphere, food, and coffee but Im not a dog person. There was a very large dog lounging next to me the entire 2 hours I was there. I can handle the to-go customers with dogs. So this is probably not the best choice for me.
A beautiful and unique gallery/cafe combo. The vibe is comfy folk art, theres a stage for live music and all the ceramic work is available for purchase. They have a pretty decent menu as well. Snack bakery items and a warm ala carte menu. Vegetarian soup options, which is always a plus. Its pretty much the opposite of Starbucks, Im a fan.
Best place i been too for coffee. I work around the corner so it’s so easy for me to get too. the barista are my favorite!!! The food is Amazing and of course the coffee. If your planning a trip wait until the certain weekend where the art building is open the the public!!I shared this place with my family and this is buy far one of our favorite get together spots!
Great atmosphere. It felt like I was in the middle of the Minneapolis art scene. It was cool. It is attached to artist work space and had some live art creation space in the shop. They serve the standard coffee shop coffee selection. Nothing exotic like pour over or nitro cold brew.
Great coffee, comfortable atmosphere, good breakfast prices! Find the regions best selection of fine craft pottery coffee cups for sale. Easy parking.
They have an amazing decaf latte and the barista was great. I thought the food prices were very reasonable and I look forward to going back and actually trying some eventually. This is a big yet still cozy place. I went there to watch a comedy/charity event (very cool!) and Ill go back to try more of the food and coffee.
Smooth coffee with a very warm and cozy atmosphere! First time here and looking forward to coming back.
One of my favorite stops while visiting Minneapolis. One hell of a cup of coffee. If you enjoy ceramics you will definitely be entertained. They offer a small menu of food if your also hungry.
Excellent coffee. It has really cool decor that is a combination of artsy and antiquey with a masculine undertone. Very nice establishment.
Nice ambiance good people
A quite getaway tucked into a corner. Good artwork and pottery and Great Coffee. Its so relaxed and calming that you can spend the whole day reading there.
Creative work/gathering place! One of my new favorites for sure. Delicious treats and coffee at reasonable prices. Theres art, music, and pottery covering the walls. Free parking, beautiful huge patio, and spacious tables. All around fantastic.
Iced chai tea latte is so good! Cute little shop with their own parking lot by railroad tracks.
Good coffee, good breakfast food, friendly staff. Interesting building and artsy atmosphere. Will go back soon.
Quirky fun spot with excellent coffee.
Love coming here in the summer and wasting an afternoon on the cute patio and getting all cozy with a warm latte in the winter. Love the decor in this place as well. Drinks are always good.
Probably one of my favorite coffee houses in town. Good coffee, good food and very friendly staff. They even had some live music.
Great coffee place in a cool tucked away location. Wonderful vibe and lots of things to look at on the walls.
Wonderful art on the walls, fantastic service
Beautiful, peaceful coffee shop with comfortable seats, great coffee, and beautiful art (some of which is for sale). There’s also a small but lovely garden seating area out front. The owner is very kind and welcoming. My favorite coffee and study spot in this area! Definitely recommended.
Good coffee bar with live music but they need some vegan snacks.
My favorite place to come study, catch up with friends, or just spend time at. The owner is so kind a humble. He remembers frequent customers which makes Mojo an even more comfortable place to be. The Chai is always excellent. The chili is so yummy and filling. Where else can you go where people are down to earth and a chai latte and chili is only 10 dollars??!!
The chai was excellent. Good atmosphere and friendly service.
Nice big well done room, inviting vibe. Very interesting art for sale and as decor. Good food as well as coffee. Easy parking. Best place to buy a special artist made cup or mug. A little off the beaten path location, but worth the trip.
The staff is always friendly and I love the food options, especially the breakfasts. Great NE feel in an iconic location
Food is pretty decent here, but the chocolate cake is what keeps me coming back. White chicken chili is good as well! Can be a decent wait during lunch time though.
This place is really cool and chill. It’s a nice study spot, mostly quiet on weeknights with a nice front deck for when it’s nice outside. They display ceramics from local artists, and are located underneath artist studio lofts. I can certainly recommend their cappuccino and their teas.
The breakfast omelet with jerk beef is a must!
Wonderful place with lots of displayed art. Good crowd. Great customer service.
I only come here when Im either exhausted or my blood sugar is low and the employees are always super nice about my incredibly awkward demeanor. Someday Ill go in and act like a normal person, but until then I feel like I can be my most disheveled self here with minimal judgement. The Cuban Mix is good too.
Very good coffee will definitely go back
I love this place! Great coffee, friendly people, and a great crowd of regulars. So glad its in the neighborhood!
Definitely worth every penny. The coffees were fantastic
Great Kombucha on tap, and cold press on Nitro.
My family and I stopped in on a whim and we loved this place! The coffee and hot chocolate was great but what we loved most is how nice the owner Marco was! He talked and joked with our kids and even gave us samples of thr brownies we sell! We will be back to try the lunch food as it looks amazing! The art and atmosphere is great! Outside area is nice and quiet!
Food is so good!
Great coffee in a nice location!
Really cool vibe. Great little coffee shop
On a Thursday afternoon, 2019, there was a man here. He had packed a snack for himself to enjoy with his coffee: uncooked sliced button mushrooms. Upon further observation, I watched him take a stack of napkins, shove them in his hoodie pocket, put his hood over his head, and scamper off the premises. The coffee is pretty good.
Quiet and funky place for breakfast. Give you just the right portion size too
I love the ambience and the vibe. Great patio with trees and plants
Perfect latte and great coffee. The food always looks delicious, Ill try it next time. Great environment, one guy shared some of his pistachios with me!
Mojo is the perfect place to sit and eat, study, sip on coffee, and socialize!
Always a chill spot for coffee and good food. Love the front patio, so beautiful.
Lovely place with good coffee, board games, and a full building of art studios that are open to visitors once a month. Great date spot
Came here for a small musical performance on a date. The coffee shop is great. Plenty of room with large tables, fun decorating and the staff are all extremely nice. The musical came with dinner and the food was good, the show was fun and the staff extremely nice. Loved this place.
Great food and drinks and dog friendly
Another experienced and reliable food and drink provider, along with all the art.
The light and atmosphere in here is amazing! If you’re looking for a true Nordeast arts district experience at a local coffee shop, come here! The bean burger tasted fine.
Coffee was good but the service was a little slow
I enjoy the nitro and kombucha they have on tap. Great service.
Very good coffee
I absolutely love this coffee shop. It is located in a wonderful location in an old warehouse building with a great little deck out front that has some overhanging trees that provide some shade for the seating. The walls are filled with unique and delightful art and the owner is fantastic and super friendly! The coffee and food is also very solid.
Good selection of food and drinks, lots of art to look at and live music too! Great place!
Love the atmosphere and the location from my house.
Mojos is a breath of fresh air compared to the transient nature of so many other coffee shops. You hunker down here, get breakfast (we recommend the frittata), get another coffee, talk to someone, mind your own business, look at art, whatever. It feels like the TV show Cheers - the baristas even know our names (and we recommend the quad-shot Americano that Andrew makes). Id give em another star if Google would let me ;)
My favorite spot to unwind the staff is courteous. The chili is to die for.
Love this quaint ceramic art gallery with delicious organic food and yummy coffee drinks.
The atmosphere and ambiance of the shop is great! The special drinks are amazing!
Great coffee and snack options - plus awesome lunch specials. Patio is perfect for relaxing on a nice day. Never boisterous. Very friendly staff.Only wish (and this is for every business): when you run a one-at-a-time restroom, install one of those green/ vacant and red/occupied door locks. No one likes trying a door handle only to find it locked, meaning you just harassed someone doing their business.
Good coffee and good food. Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. Lots of pottery line the walls for sale.
The best place I visited in united States for morning coffee. Fell in love with the environment around
Wonderful atmosphere. Good food and coffee. It very artsy also.
