Rivervilla Park

Love fishing here. And have many fond memories of me and my now deceased man here. There are picnic tables, grassy areas to lay out a blanket and catch the rays or sit on the rocks and enjoy the view. Also the Portland spirit glides through if the tining is right. Great place to take youre k-9 to burn some energy. However though they do have bathrooms their closed for the winter months.

Nice park on the river right by my house. Used to have picnics there with my wife when she still here. It is a special place to me.

Good view of the river with fishing and swimming access, the parking lot is a bit small and can be packed full on sunny days.

It was pretty quiet. Has a clean restroom and sun bathing area. Great dog area.

Nice park. My buddy can pull his boat right to the shore and Im able to get in his boat. Also brought an ex-girlfriend at sunset for the view.

Was hoping a train, Portland and Western rr, would cross the bridge for a scenic pic. No dice. A blue heron was at the base of the east side pillar of the bridge. Also a cormorant zoomed by me too fast to get.

I found this park hiding along the Willamette River near Milwaukie, Oregon. Cool place to enjoy a warm evening beside the river sitting on a huge rock. An old train bridge crosses the river so it can be loud when a train comes through. This river was wavey due to alot of motorized water activities while I was enjoying the sunset in my kayak.

Some nice jasper ans a few agates on the waterfront. Nice place to walk your dog.

A nice park. But parking is limited and the homeless population prevails. So cops come down here regularly. I go down here to work on my car sometimes. They have a bathroom. Whenever cops come they seem to talk to people around. Never stay long. But still. Let me protect myself. I prefer to be left alone.

A quaint little park near the river. Lots of grassy area, some sandy beach and a small parking area that has about half shade during the day. Nice and quiet most of the time.

Small...no playground. Not much for doing walks

Small park with rocky bank access. Good view of the rail trestle nearby. Lots of noisy boats speeding by and raising wakes, so I wouldnt recommend going for a swim.

Nice park to walk the dog. Has restrooms in the summer. Right on the Willamatte River. Can hear the Lake Oswego outdoor concerts clearly and avoid the crowds. Only down fall is the occasional homeless will hang there until theyre run out. Which maybe 1 or 2 times a month. I go there daily in the summer.

If you go at night and sit by the river, a beaver might just waddle into the water next to you and hang out. Peaceful spot.
