I hadnt gotten a chance to go back to Davis Graveyard in a few years before last night. It is so cool to get to see all the new additions! This family is so creative and do a truly fantastic job creating such a fabulous free Halloween season experience! It really is something special.

Had a fun time at their Halloween shindig 2019. They do awesome work and its fun to see behind the scenes a bit to how they made things. I recommend at least a drive by every year around Halloween. Its very spooky and fun.

I love this place, its gives off the best eerie Halloween feel without being scary . Ive taken my kids here every year for years and now that theyre older I still go every year .. fortunately my son lives just on the next street and were able to walk right over there with easy access as parking to get to its location right off Johnson Creek can pose to be quite a problem at times, but only because of the crazy amount of visitors they get due to the ongoing popularity of this place . However if you are able to find a place to park, even if you have to walk a bit to get there, its absolutely worth it ! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves Halloween of any age

A real treat. This house has done a great job. Their house is a total grave yard. It is so well done. They even give classes to teach you how to build the whole site.

Wow! What a wonderfully creepy place! Visited every year for eight years...a solid Halloween traditon.You must check this frightful place out!

What an amazing community experience! The most fun thing I have randomly gone to all Fall. Recommend for families, spooky teens, and anyone with a little spirit.

Just adored this place. Gave you a creepy feeling but not over the top. Dont just drive by. Walk on the short path in front of the house and read the tombstones. All relevant people who have passed. Look in the back for the ghosts. Listen to the stories/ music / the smells while you slowly walk back and forth. Perfect detail and impressive craftsmanship. Its free, but I would make sure to bring cash for donations, worth it!

If you go to PDX ever from out of town you have to see this, Right out of the Movies. Spooky Stuff. Special effects are pro level.

Must see. Dedication to their craft, Davis Graveyard is the ultimate Halloween haunt.

This attraction is well set up during the holidays. Its worth going and checking out day or night

Great Halloween attraction. Excellent for adults and children alike. Go early in the season to avoid crowds and not have to park a distance from it.

This place is a result of years of hard work. It has the most incredible, spooky atmosphere. And I was lucky enough to see it on Halloween!

Quirky but small halloween display

Great and affordable. Its free with a donation box. My kids got to enjoy a Halloween outing that they will remember! Truly thankful for places like this.

This place puts you in the Halloween Spirit like no other place on the Eastside. I do miss the dancers that theyve had in the past. Go now its fun, bring the kids, and dont block the road.

The most awesome home haunt I have ever seen! They work so hard to do this every year for free. Only open in October, of course.

Really awesome display.

The main reason I give it four stars is its free. It is basically that house on your street that goes crazy during Halloween, but on steroids. Spend about 30 minutes looking around and probably was 10 minutes too long. Again its free, but if you are expecting a large show or haunted house this will disappoint.

So amazing to see on Halloween. The effort they put into this just astounds me. I visit this every year. They do tours now!

Always a must see for Halloween! Love looking at all the names on the tombstones, all the special effects, they put so much into this for all of us to enjoy!

I had been hearing about the Davis Graveyard for several years but had not been in Portland around Halloween to see what the fuss was all about. This year, the timing was perfect. What a wonderful, spooky, awesome tech-filled special effects extravaganza awaits you during the month of October. A haunted church, a singing ghost, a haunted castle, grave markers, webs, spiders, ghostly images are all there and they are hand wrought from giant hard foam blocks and spray painted to glorious realism. You must see this to believe it. Please do leave a donation if you can, no matter how small, because this couple does this out of the goodness of their spooky hearts.

Love what they do every year. Inspires me every time I go.

Very cool Halloween display with effects and performances on the weekend. Its closed for the year but very much worth visiting next October!

Went in the daylight and it was super fun to read all the headstones! I loved the cathedral and all the work put into the whole production was quite admirable! I will definitely be going back in the dark.

A fun, family friendly outdoor setup for viewing during October. This is not a walk through area, but viewed from the fence beside a neighborhood residential road. You may park along the street and stand to get the full effects, because theres a lot to look at plus outdoor speakers for sound. Always a little spooky but never violent or gory. A pleasant 15 minutes of mild entertainment for free. A different setup every year, this is a true labor of love at this private residence that welcomes public gawkers.

A yearly tradition for us and it gets a little better each year! A one of a kind haunt!

Well we went at night time. It was really awesome, but Ill bet equally is awesome during the day! If you can believe that. Scary in the daytime? Probably is...

Went by the graveyard during the day and it was impressive. Im very excited to see it up and running at night. I LOVE Halloween and obviously so does the Davis family. A Must see!

Great Halloween Festivities, Thank You

It was great for being free. I enjoyed the time and effort that was put into it. Lots of headstones with some kind of analogies, where I didnt get all of them. Yet still had a good and scaryish time!

The Davis Graveyard has grown to be an awesome display. I have watched them grow for a lot of years and I am very impressed with their display. I will be back next year.

A real stand out gem in the area, and a longtime family tradition. Halloween in Portland isnt the same without a visit to the Davis Graveyard.

Absolutely incredible! The amount of effort this family puts into this is unreal!If you have a few bucks, put it in the donation box. That way, the family can keep it alive!Well worth the drive to Milwaukie!

The details and work that goes into this is crazy. It was great to see. However people need to keep a better eye on their kids.

As a fellow haunter I can easily say this is one of the best Halloween attractions in the country. Truely theme park quality. Take time to read every stone and listen to the audio as it changes depending where you stand. This a family friendly display appropriate for all ages-no blood or gore.

Great place new ideas

Its an awesome place to go see. Theres a performance by middle or high school students. I think that happens every 15 minutes. Theres several funny headstones, and a few celebrity ones.

Its cool. I just wish portland had more oomph. Other houses need to decorate too!!

I visit the Davis Graveyard every October. It provides a spooky moment mori for visitors. The layout of the graves is new every year with some new Graves joining the previous years crop.Viewing the cemetery is best from on foot. Its not too spooky for most children, though some attendees might wish them to be a bit more respectfu.

Attended the annual open house. It was really cool to be able to see the graveyard up close, see props being made, and talk to the prop makers. Very fun.

The Milwaukie high school dance team does an incredible rendition of Michael Jacksons thriller.. multiple performances a night for the days leading up to Halloween. They convinced my 3 year old that zombies are real, but that they only come out on Halloween. Great place for families!

Halloween themed seasonal event. Private residence becomes a classic graveyard every October with professional quality home made props and special effects. Limited street parking in quiet neighborhood. Free event but donations accepted.

I love Halloween, but the Davis family goes all out! I really enjoy living near this attraction. We usually invite different friends over for dinner during October and then walk on over after we eat to show off the Davis Graveyard. Everyone is always impressed!

This is a great Halloween exhibit! And thats all it is, an exhibit. No walking through, you just go, park, walk & observe. This is a neighborhood, so parking can be tricky. Respect neighbors, car traffic & foot traffic. Go early (dusk) or go late. Its free and a fun Halloween experience.

Ive been going to the Davis family graveyard since I was little girl. Is something that Ive always loved and enjoyed. Its really need to see all of their creations come to life at night.All the decorations in their front yard are things that they made themselves. They sell Halloween décor.When Severy year they host an event where you can come to the property and walk around and look at the props up close.They usually have a small amount of concessions that you can buy. This year they held on events where they had the dance crew from a local high school dance to Michael Jacksons thriller. The dance Dance team performed every 30 minutes. He was hard to get good placing to view the dance since it was held in the middle of the driveway. A lot of the props make it hard to see.After the dance team left to go get ready for the next Show. People were allowed to enter and check out the props and then purchase Some refreshments.They have people throughout the experience that you can talk to About how they made some of the Halloween décor.

Fun. Great job on the owners part. Looking forward to seeing it in the night.

Parking is really hard to find on Halloween or even in October, lots of people. Even police show up to keep things safe. But its pretty cool and chill

Do yourself a favor and check this place out every year in October! Its fun, spooky, very well done, very artistic and a real cool thing to check out with the kiddos.

It was nice didnt hear sound, but it was still fun like to see more flashing lights and sounds but you did a great job keep it up

Its absolutely amazing! And huge! Its huge-mazing! They make all their tombstones and buildings to create what looks like a real graveyard. Its all viewed from the street, where you can read all the tombstones and see the amazing level of detail they put into this. Best part, since it isnt a haunted house or walk-thru, its free.

Was told usually more events occur at the Graveyard, but this year (2016) was a blow. A few kids came out and danced dressed up as zombies every twenty minutes/ The decorations are beautiful to see, but there wasnt much to do here.

The best Halloween display, and a must-see in the month of October!
