Small, not enough picnic tables around they have them all under a tent of sort across the park and I suppose you have to drag it back to the area you want to picnic at.. Kids had a blast at the water park. 3 stars..

Like many of Milwaukees parks, Gordon park is very nice. The park has a fun water-play-structure for kids to cool off in the lovely summer heat.

Its a great place to let the kids play plus a splash pad I just wish they would leave the water on till 4

Gordon is a decent park. I just hate to see the lazy parents that let their kids play on the swings while theyre sitting in the car. Parking lot is way too far from the play area for you to supervise your children. Being able to walk the trail is nice.

Nice park with access to the river.

Gordon Park is a great park. On first look it seems pretty small. But if you follow the path down to the river you can see some amazing art. The graffiti artists go down and paint all of the concrete surfaces. Some of the pieces are incredibly detailed. Theres also paths that run parallel to the river for quite a ways if youd like to go hiking. Theres a big paved path thats a continuation of the beer line on the south end of the park that goes all the way to North Avenue. In the summer they turn the water on. Its a big sprinkler system thats safe for kids of all ages. We call it a splash pad. I dont really know the real name but its essentially a ton of sprinklers that spray in different amounts, directions, and stream shapes/sizes. The playground is nice. It still has swings which is always a plus to me. Parks are losing their swings, so for a park to rebuild the playground and keep their swings is a big deal. Theres also a big flat grass field that can be used for soccer, football, etc. And a covered area that can be rented for larger groups. Gordon Parks proximity to the river also gives you an opportunity to see wildlife in the middle of the city. Ive seen deer, coyotes, butlers garter snakes, red tail hawks, and more in Gordon park. The cherry on this park is the fireworks for the fourth of July. I highly recommend Gordon Park for your outdoor activities.

Gordon Park, one of Milwaukees supposedly haunted locations makes for a nice stroll out in the sun! There is also a golf course and a restaurant in the park. My favorite it walking down into the wooded trails.

Decent size parking lot, nice flat fields, restrooms, playground, bubbler, and right on the bike path. Meets all the requirements of a nice park.

Used to love to walk here many years ago when it was heavily treed before they made it into more of a playground. Do we have to destroy nature so kids can climb on an artificial surface thats not even particularly safe? Miss the way it was...Cool river trails at least...

I really enjoy this park. They have a water section for the children.

Every time I come here I find new reason I love it, for the most part its a nice place to bring your kids and enjoy the day but for others its a place to have family gatherings or play soccer.There is even a larping group that comes every Sunday.If you are into hiking you can find the entrance to the trails on locust street near the bridge.

It seems all the parks in this city are run down and dirty. Do better, Milwaukee.

My children was sitting on the ground under a tree a family rudely came right next to me and my family and started bar b queing. My baby has asthma.

Splash pad, spacious. Easy access to river trails.

Great place in the summer for dog owners or parents of young kids.

This is a nice park with a playground and soccer field. There are nicely paved trails as well as hiking trails along the river. The only down side is people often have their dogs off leash.

This park is a park, its pretty good and parky all around and I read that once upon a time there was a beach on the river there

The splash pad is nice in the summer, the park has equipment in good condition. There are bathrooms and plenty of grassy places for kids to run.

Came to play catch with a few friends. Nice Green space to do with what you please, and baseball diamonds with concession stands, restrooms, and bubbler. I dont think there is a legit playground however?
