This place has seen some fantastic changes in the last few months. New staff to enhance an already great staff, new nightly specials, weekly lunch specials. Saturday night theme night is great with shirtless sweaty studs in leather as well as their holiday buffets and cookouts. A decent beer selection and great COCKtails. You guys need to check this place out.

Been going to Harbor Room for years. Thanks for hair color I dont look it haha. Never had a issue with the bar or the bartenders, they have been great. I have know the owner for years. The patio is a great place if you want to soak up some sunshine, it will be better if summer gets here. The drinks are made well and the beer is perfect in the frosty mugs.

It’s a staple in Milwaukee, and it doesn’t get super busy anymore, but the bartenders are pretty friendly, and if you get past the idea that it is just a quiet corner bar, you can have a really good time. This is a great place to relax after a brunch or something like that, in order to have full control of the jukebox, play a game of darts, and even banter with the bartender. Keep in mind that it is usually only a cash bar, but they do have an ATM you can use.

Boring after midnight on Saturdays, busy on weekdays and early evenings. Its either a love it when its busy or a snoozefest when its slow. Street parking only but better than the other bars north and west of it due to bat congestion.

Came here with a gay friend of mine, wasnt sure what to expect as Im straight. Well as the rating indicates its become a go to spot for a drink. Bartenders are friendly, owner is a great guy and respect is given. A few times someone has made a pass but once Ive said Im not gay it immediately stopped. Some of the regulars are great people. If youre comfortable with yourself and respectful theres no reason not to visit.

Stumbled into this place not expecting it to be a gay bar. A lot of people probably have as well. Its fairly dark and doesnt indicate what it really is.

I visited Harbor Room about 4 years ago. Im from Milwaukee but have lived in St. Louis for a very long time. I was in town over Christmas visiting family. I walked in and could tell by the looks of people at me, I wasnt welcome. The bartender then charged me $4.50 for a PBR! I GOT THE HINT, finished quickly and never returned. I went to Woodys after that. Im a good tipper and spend about 50 to 80 every time, so its Harbor Rooms loss. My money spends elewhere.
