Fields are great but the parking situation is absurd. And they will ticket you if you dont pay. Suppose I dont have a smart phone to get the app? 11 dollars? To park in a parking lot? And they max you out instead of even giving you an hourly option. Even worse, with 12 fields of action there are many, many vehicles that dont have a space and have to improvise - resulting in parking in an unmarked space... and getting ticketed, and potentially towed. Not a great setup.

Top Notch facility. I have been to lots of places for tournaments and this is the best so far. 12 turf fields with plenty of grassy areas nearby each field for team warmups and teams to set up tents. Wide sidewalks connect access to all fields and parking was fairly easy. Multiple concession stands throughout with restrooms and working water fountains at each one. There are also plenty of trees planted around sidewalk and end fields to provide shade. There is also a picnic sheltering the center area. Any other turf filled facilities should come here to see how it should be done.

Very nice facility. My only negative would be to stop charging for parking. If youre hurting that much for money increase your tournament fees or your concession prices.

This is a top notch facility. The faculty/volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. The turf is very well kept as is the entire place. Parking is great. Plenty of spots so its easy to park close to your field. Bathrooms are handicap accessible and extremely well maintained, but not air conditioned. The side walk that runs through the edges and middle of the turf fields makes the whole place handicap accessible. They do have 2 concession stand with a variety of things from Buffalo style pierogies to granola bars. Some of the pre packaged foods are labeled Kosher. Kudos to DE Turf for creating a place for everyone to come together with a common goal

Paid parking? Us parents pay enough for club fees, uniforms, trainers, hotels, fuel, tolls...now parking too? There are better ways to bring in revenue other than this. Besides, the complex is in the middle of nowhere with no real amenities around. Should have been built much further North. Yes nice fields, but paid parking? Come on.

This is a really nice, new turf complex with some essential amenities (bathrooms and snack bars), but theres not a whole lot else around it, and when all fields are in use, parking can be limited. On top of that, theres a parking fee ($10 per day plus a $0.50 convenience fee). Ive never before had to pay a parking fee for a youth soccer event. It doesnt exactly dispel the notion that youth sports are all about making money.

Please read the entire review. The DE Turf Sports Complex is a new Park in Delaware which has turf fields which can be used for multiple outdoor sports. There are 12 fields for Football, Soccer, Field Hockey and more. My sons club Soccer team from Maryland participated in the APC Beast of the East Columbus day soccer tournament October 12th and 13th, 2019. The complex is newer and very clean. The restrooms are very clean and well kept. There is a concession area with plenty of space. There is ample parking at the facility which brings me to my complaint about the complex. At no time was anyone from our club leadership team told that the DE complex would charge a fee to pay for parking at the facility. However, the complex strategically place some signs along certain fences along some of the sidewalks leading up to a couple of the fields. The fees are to be paid by downloading the DE parking app on a smartphone or calling a number on a sign. If you were walking briskly to locate a field you can easily miss the signs. That is until you come back to your car and you see the warning notice of a ticket on your car. The warning notice will provide ways to pay for parking. The DE Sports Complex parking gurus will give you a warning on your first day, stating that you have just received a warning for parking in the complex. The next offense will be a $30 ticket if you dont put the app on your phone or call the toll-free number to pay to park. This is very misleading because the signs as I finally found out do not state that the parking is enforced by the municipal city ordinance, the County Police, nor any organization. So the consumer is left wondering who was enforcing this parking? Are the posted signs an advertisement for downtown Dover parking? My kids teams have been playing in club soccer for about seven years now and we have never been charged to park at any of the facilities where the games are being played.Folks, beware that if anyone received a ticket on day 2 of the tournament, you may want to research if a parking ticket from a public park can lead to collections on your credit report if left unpaid? There is nothing stated in the park who enforces the tickets? I wouldnt think that anything can be done negatively impacting your drivers license or license plates with your local MVA if the parking fine is not paid.I WILL BE ADVISING MY CHILDRENS SOCCER CLUBS TO NEVER PLAY IN A TOURNAMENT AT THE DE TURF SPORTS COMPLEX AGAIN.

We have been to over 40 facilities to play soccer over the past 10 years and this is the worst experience weve ever had. They want to install a spyware app on your phone so you can pay them for parking. No cash option exists. Its a high fee as well since there is absolutely nothing near by. They have indoor bathrooms which we thought would be a plus but they might as well have been port-a-potties for as clean as they were. And that was only after the first game in the morning. You have to drive forever to find a place to eat unless you are happy with stadium prices for trashy food. The fields are nice, but theyre only a year old. I doubt they will stay that way for long with the way they are going. But they will make a fortune off them in the meantime. If your team has another option go with that. This place isnt worth it.

Horrible experience..paid parking with little trolls walking around checking your license plates..I have never paid for parking at a sports complex that my sons travel team had already paid to compete at..In 90 degree heat the ridiculous staff tried to make spectators standing 10 plus feet apart wear masks outside...Deleware blows and so does their sports complex..

I see people upset about paying for parking, but yet would pay to enter youth sports events elsewhere. If anything, its cheaper this way instead of paying per person. We are down here from out of state for a 2day weekend soccer tournament at $7.50 for 1 entire day is something we wont complain about. We pay to be part of a travel soccer team and these are some of the expectations. The fields are awesome and parking is perfect for us because with todays weather, we can stay in the car and watch the game with younger siblings..
