This park is in the heart of Middletown. A 5 minute walk and your on main street. The park is beautiful and the sunrises and sunset are amazing. The park is a it small and parking is limited.

Very nice, a lot of benches, you can take pictures with your family or with your husband. The sunsets are always beautiful there. There are womens and mens toilets. There are restaurants, and there is a cinema near this park. If you dont have a car, then take bus 585 or 584-585 and go there to Harbor Park for free because of the coronavirus. There is a lot of parking. You can have a picnic there. So, you can enjoy and watch the sunset.

So peaceful, beautiful people. Great place to relax, have a picnic or just enjoy nature while reading a book.

Very good. Was kind of tight on parking but we were lucky to have found one. Good place to walk, eat and relax.

Come to Harbor Park to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. If you go there early, you might catch a glimpse of the bright moon. I gave it 4 star because the boardwalk could’ve been longer. There are benches so you can just sit and enjoy watching sunrise and the quiet flow of Connecticut river.

The board walk could use to be longer. The statue of Christopher Columbus needs to go! He DID NOT discover America. And there needs more picnic areas and more parking.

Seasonal open to public. Spring to winter a nice place to stop and enjoy. Excellent place to relax and stroll the boardwalk. Nice bar/restaurant for a drink and food is actually not bad. Park is Clean, restroom available and pets welcome. Give it a try. Also, a nice place as a second stop on a date.

I discovered this place shortly after moving to Middletown. Lately Ive been coming here more often for some peace and quiet. The view is beautiful and there is plenty of space to walk around and watch the scenery. I plan on coming here more often when I need some peace and quiet.

Great little Park if you want to relax do some fishing and enjoy the scenery plus an outdoor bar where you can get appetizers salads and drinks

The park is big, no fish to catch today. A bit disappointed. This place was packed and has a country club next door people constantly jet skiing. And had a person walk up to me drunk as a skunk and ask for a smoke

This lovely little park sits at the edge of the Connecticut River. There are some benches here to sit along the boardwalk.Some people come here to go fishing off of the boardwalk.There is also a tunnel that runs under route 9 that will allow access to other parts of (downtown) Middletown. There are lights (and music) in the tunnel.There is a walking pathway connecting the boardwalk to the tunnel.There may be live music that can be heard coming from the nearby Canoe Club.On occasion. I have found small car cruise/show here, which is cool.There is a great view of the Arrigoni/Portland Bridge from here as will as the railroad bridge that pivots..

A walk by the CT River early morning is quite invigorating.

Wonderful city park located on the banks of Connecticut River. We attended The 1st annual battle of bandsThe contestants were several community bands that were all very good .The organizers were excellent in keeping the sets tight with little wait time between setsThere were good trucks and several crafters displaying theyre waresTruly hope they were successful enough to have another one next year

Beautiful views of the Connecticut River. The harbor & mountain views are spectacular!!! Canoe Club is right there and looks like a nice place to eat, they have outdoor seating that overlooks the river.

Very nice gem on the CT river. However, board walk is in much need of repair. Loose and projecting boards pose trip hazards. Liked wathcing local rowing crews practicing on the river. The seat swings were very nice too.

Came here for a crew race, great park, fun swing benches, regular benches, grass to sit on. Restroom building. Nice place to walk, enjoy a picnic, with a nice view. Park in lot in street, walk under ground and arrive at the park. Tunnel is well lit(not sure what it looks like after dark).

If youre looking for great food and fast service this is a place that you will not want to go the steak was ordered medium came out well done. My sons hamburger was like a rock service was horrible would not recommend this place to any of my friends

Harbor Park, is located along the Connecticut River and it runs for about one half mile North and South. It is a really nice place in which to walk and just enjoy the sights of the river. There are a number of places to sit.Also, there are a number of events, over the course of the year, that take place there.I have been told that Harbor Park is the 3rd most popular place, in Connecticut, to watch the sun come up. Its my go-to place for some me time, which is always spent near water. Its not too far away from home (New Britain), right off route 9S nice view and next to a restaurant. This is also a pick-up location for the Lady Katharine cruises.
