This is such a nice place to take your dog! Have enjoyed since the opening. Was a 5+ stars when it opened!! Very sad that they are killing all the beautiful trees they planted! Unfortunately they use poison to kill the weeds under all the trees and more than half of the trees have died. No more hiding from the sun while we walk.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dog park! It’s huge and fenced all the way around. The largest bark park I’ve ever been to. It is completely covered in green grass from the front to the far corners, so no muddy, mulch stained pup here! There are trees throughout with nice shade and benches spread out. Even the water fountain area is nice and mostly dry. My pup had a blast running around. All the pups and people we met were friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Dog park is open and it is very well maintained. Everyone we met there (furry and not) were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Its a park. Wide open spaces. Very windy, so dress appropriately if its chilly. Completely average playground with covered picnic tables nearby.The dog park has plenty of space, and two separate areas that the unwritten rules seems to be one for smaller dogs, one for bigger dogs. Also, its double gated at the entrance so dogs cant slip out as you leave.It has a tiny little fishing hole with some rules I cant remember.

A most wonderful dog park, with plenty of room for playing fetch and letting the dogs run free. Many friendly people, sharing dog toys and water troughs. Evidently the fog water fountains are provided 8 of the 12 months of the year. Today there was no public water but a few dog regulars provided ample water for all to share. There is a nice pond to walk around and super nice, well equipped playground for the children. Overall a very positive experience in a really beautiful location.

One of the best dog parks around. There is a large area, like a few acres, for large dogs. And a separate large area, another few acres, for small dogs. Both sections are fenced in. To enter each area you have to go through two gates -- to keep pups from accidentally running out. Depending on the time of year, if its warm enough, there is running water for the dogs. They offer convenient trash containers for poopy bags and even offer poopy bags. Its such a great open area for dogs to run at full speed for a distance. People are nice and polite. Its a fun place to visit to give your dogs a chance to run free safely and with other doggie friends!

Huge play ground with capacity for over 40 kids multiple units with a safe soft ground. Theres plenty of fishing holes NO LIVE BAIT I caught a 4lb bass and 29inch Catfish in the main fishing area with pier. Plenty of places to barbeque and seating.

We went fishing there but it looks like a really nice park to walk or for the kids

Very nice huge park. Some people will bring the animal with them (even though theres a seperate part for that). Lots of equipment, all in great working order. Beautiful pond and the pavilions are a nice place to rest.

Its nice and big with fenced in dog run. It would be nice to have lots of trees to break the strong wind gusts and get some shades while walking in the summer time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PARK. Clean spacious BIG. Been living in Middletown for about 4 yrs now and this park has it all. From dog park to walking trail to picnic areas (you must call to reserve your spot) to just playing at the kids area or just relaxing in the grass. The pic shows a small pond. Looks like its right there but it is not you have to go all the way over to the edge then go down but trust me the scenery as you walk you won’t have to worry the trail itself is just so peaceful and breezy. Summertimes make sure you put on plenty of sunscreen no trees nowhere to hide for shade and yes be ready for the breeze its always there all seasons long. Have fun enjoy the park.

Great park in Middletown. We didnt get A chance to look at the whole park, but we stopped by the dog park to play with our dog. The people and dogs were friendly and there was a ton of space for the dogs to run around. Plenty of land that is fenced for them to play in.

Took my 2 dogs there and was impressed with the size of it!my 2 had fun with the other dogs that were there as well. There is a water fountain there. Even the non-dogs were friendly.

Large 2 sectioned grassy dog areas. water fountain for the pups and shady trees and a great open field to relax and enjoy your dog play and run with the other visitors. there was a nice breeze the time i went there though it was probably 90 degrees it was fine for furry ones and humans. Down side the 2 times Sarah and i were there, she was attacked. MyHppy is a small 44 pounds of pure love. No sign of possessive or aggressive actions, ever and she was minding her own business. I am concerned and more so because several folks I met while there in the park told me they have seen such behavior a number of times. The park is great in of itself but the point for me is if I drive a half an hour to let my dog have doggie play time, I want to believe she will be safe. Also heads up, lock your car up as best you can... yesterday someone tampered with my gas cover and cap... it was in the middle of the parking lot. And surrounded by probably 8-10 cars at any given time, how does someone have the guts to do this? I hope nothing happens to you or me in the future. Knocking the 4 to 3 stars for the se 2 issues.

Great park very clean new Play Ground Facility for Kids also Childrens with disabilities State of the Art Play Ground. Dog park also available. This park was just aired on Six ABC News making the public aware of the new Childrens Facility. Six ABC news is from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Great experience very much kept up. Walking trails are available as well. Park hours are enforce., Dust to Darn.

Awesome park and playgrounds. A little hidden off the road but its nice how removed it is.

One grill we were using broke off the stand and dumped the hot dogs. The other one will soon so they all probably need replacement.

I love this park but it just needs some more for all the land here. Just in general there are not enough trees and it makes it very windy all the time, with very little shade refuge available, not much wildlife due to it either although we did see an adorable hummingbird family living under the dock. The older playground needs some new mulch as the filter cloth is becoming a tripping hazard and the slides have a far jump for little ones which offer mud puddles instead of a pillowy landing. Port-o-potty was so full my daughter refused to use it. It sounds bad but I love the can-do park, it just seems like no one has been out there yet this year to maintain anything besides the grass and it needs more than that. The only reason I write this is because the boat has been broken or something from the playground as it is gone and they have coned it off yet nothing has been done anywhere except grass maintenance. But I want this park to get better as weve had a lot of good memories here, so Im giving incentive for change via 4 stars, along with my criticism.

A very nice and large park that has a great section for dogs. The only complaint is that the bathrooms are port a Johns.

This is a very relaxing place to go to unwind. Its a great place to walk. There are 4 free pavilions on a 1st come basis. Theres always a nice breeze for those hot days. This is my favorite place to go.

Great for kids and dogs! There are two large grassy sections for large and small dogs to play off leash. Playgrounds and lots of open space for the kiddies. Paved walking paths, dining pavilions and a small lake.We just do the dog park. People come down from up state to use this one as it appears the only one that is a grassy lawn rather than mulch on dirt. Through a few agility trials elements like they have up at Glasgow Park and it would be perfect.

We enjoyed this park very much. It has a fishing pond, jogging trails and an excellent playground for the kids

Love this park. Theres a lot of places to walk or have a picnic. Theres 2 playgrounds one for younger and older children. They dont have any swings though! It has a big dog park. It has a pier where you can fish, catch and release. Theres a lot you can do here on a nice day. Theres plenty of parking and the park is always well maintained.

I love this place!! Its my go to spot when Im trying to get away from the world. Beautiful nature scenery. Very spacious with plenty of parking. Theres a dog park, playground for the young, pond to fish in, structures to throw a get together or party. It is completely free and although they dont have public bathrooms they have plenty of porta pottys placed throughout the park.

This park is a very nice park located in Middletown but not in such a busy area. Very nice to sit and unwind; excellent park and area for a Family Reunion or a get together birthday party in nice weather.

Its a great park but some of the regulars make it not so fun. Their dogs attack other dogs and they take no responsibility. Yet they blame your dog if it fights back.

Lovely park! We go to the dog park and then to the playground to let our daughter play. Sometimes we bring a lunch and look at the water while we eat.
