I love this park! So much for so many to enjoy

Went for a round of disc golf. The first adventure was trying to find the first tee box. The course isnt very well maintained and is missing baskets. Not a good place to golf.

Nice trail and water pond .. Saw a few chipmunks, fish and turtles kids like it . the wetland was a nice view .

My family and i love this park. There is pool area in the summer a beautiful frozen pond in the winter. Lots of wild life plus a playground and basketball court. The restrooms are always locked tho.

Enjoyed the Disc Golf Course, please add more holes if possible...

Quite neighborhood wooded walking trails, flat ground free parking.

Great location for small gathering but the restrooms were bolted.

A playground a ballpark a picnic area and a lake that seems to have no fish or some fish it doesnt stop people from fish the lake. If you think about metal detecting this park itll be all new & old pull tabs bottle caps & twist-off caps so medium to light trashy park so notch out nickels & quarters & mostly rings.

Love this place. Its great to bring the kids or just to hang out. The playground is great for the kids then the basketball court and baseball field for older kids. Plen6of space to have a cookout and a pool great for all ages children and adults. This is definitely one of my favorite summer time spots.

Excellent park as much fun as when I was a kid there, except this time I got to see it as an adult. Just as much fun now as an adult. I think Im moving back there.

I was surprised at how clean and supervised the pool and spray park areas areas are. Employees monitor for running and other safety issues. Food and beverages are not allowed other than water and employees enforce this rule. The prices are great, $3 for adults and $1 for children. The down side are the bathrooms which are not supervised at all and are filthy and unhygienic. Enter at your own risk.

Came here for a fundraiser for 4-H. Quite park and nice walk around the lake.

Really nice Park! Didnt spend a lot of time there, maybe 2 hours. Picnic tables near parking, looks clean and well kept. Catfish for sure (if you want to throw a line in), need to explore it more, but happy we went!

Unfortunately I can not say it was clean animal feces was on the paved walking path.. and they still have geese feces problem.. I will be looking for another places to walk with my dog..

Pretty nice off the beaten path location, has a path around the lake to walk. Only its not the best area literally across the street so avoid at night

Good park with good playground selection. There are structures for toddlers and older and a big monkey bars set that challenged my nine year old. Lots of good poop but thats not surprising.

We go every year for the fireworks and its always a good show! Theres plenty of space for the kids to run around and be kids there is also a playground for the kids which is in good shape and its usually pretty clean. And they have a pool and a splash pad for the littles - theres a small fee for that i think its 2 or 3 bucks.But if you live in Middletown its definitely the best park to go to!

A well maintained park. Plenty of gazebos and grills scattered around. Plenty of structures for kids to play on. Nice pond, basketball court and baseball field.

Hate how this park went down hill. I ise to come to this park as a kid growing up and I wanted my kids to play here but, NEVER again. Dont go here on the weekends, i do NOT recommend this park at all. Good luck if ypu go.

I still remember Davidge Park back in the early 1950s...I remember the lake ice skating in the winter. I remember in the summer months, they had a woman softball team on the weekends my father use to take us to...I also remember the lake, there was an island near the center of it with a shack on it...We use to hide there and smoke cigarettes as kids..Good old days..

Good park.they have a nice playground for the kids.swimming pool.lake.horse shows in the summer.baseball games.basketball court and games.good place to go jogging with the back being like all trees good to breathe fresh air.they have a bathroom.its just yhe best park in Middletown n.y..

I drove an hour to get to the War Veterans Memorial pool and was kicked out within 5 minutes of arriving with my two kids for merely rolling my eyes due to the staff being up my butt with the rules from the minute I put my stuff down! (Pardon the description, but its accurate!) I didnt even have time to read the posted rules because I was too busy being harassed about them by the staff! The place is run like a prison as opposed to a place for families to have fun!Rule #1 you cannot put anything on the pool deck (fine, I get that)Rule #2 you must be wearing a bathing suit if you are going to stand on the pool deck (what!? I wasnt swimming. I was watching the kids! This makes no sense.)Rule #3 no food on the premises. (But theyll let you bring clearly-visible lunch boxes in and then refuse to give you a refund when they kick you out a few minutes later... until you get other people to rally for you, and then theyll give you a partial refund).I will definitely not be back!

This is such a GREAT place. Clean and safe. It cost $3 for adults and $1 for kids. The splash pad is on the smaller side but it is totally worth it.

Its a great place to play and hang out with friends.Its has a basketball court and football field.

The lake is absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately, the wrong sort of people like to frequent this park. If you can ignore the weed smells, the loud ghetto behavior, the dog poop all over the place where dogs are prohibited, the nasty people eating their food and then leaving it on benches that other people would love to sit on, and the incompetent mothers screaming bloody murder at their children, you will enjoy this park and the lake thoroughly.

The New Pool Area Was A Wonderful Update To The Park, A Lot More Cleaner Than A Few Year Ago

Used to be a really nice park. Since the age of 14 I spent many hours night & day there. Miss the big old building where we went to the teen dances. Did a lot of skating on the pond. Many, many family picnics & local clam bakes. Took my boys fishing in the evenings & walked the woods for hours. No more though. I try to visit at least twice a year in the day hours. I feel less safe now than when the psych hospital had a full house. This new generation just dont hold the same values my mom instilled in us. Its sad to live in fear of saying or seeing the wrong thing. And worst of all, nobody seems to care. Jj

At this time I will give it 3 stars only because its still a work in progress. It definitely needs more trash cans along the way.

We paid the city of Middletown for a place to have a party this sote was great i plan to do it again

Spent a few hours with my spouse, our granddaughter and loved it! Donna, the manager, is very pleasant as well as the staff. She explained what it took to get this project started and finished. The pool and sprinkler park are beautiful! I will definitely return. Want to thank all those who made this possible. Middletown is a great place to live... I have no regrets moving here and there should be zero tolerance when it comes to adhering to the rules and regulations in order to have a decent place to enjoy the summer heat with your family.

One of the nicer parks in town safe for kids nice lake and walking trail, pool, and water fun. THIS PARK SHOULD HAVE MORE POKEMON STOPS AND AT LEAST ON GYM.
