Browns Run was established as a country club in 1956. Browns Run is located in the country just outside of town. The majestic clubhouse is extremely spacious and it is where Browns Run hosts live bands.

It has been years since I played there. This time around wasnt very good. The whole course right now is nothing but a goat track. The tees have barely any grass. Fairways are spotty at best. Greens are decent. Laying out 50 bucks for a course like this is just not worth it.The staff was very courteous.The course needs help for me a play there again.

This is a course on the rebound. New ownership and management is committed to returning the course to its former conditions and glory. Staff was very friendly and the golf is a fantastic challenge. Cant wait to see how this place improves going forward.

Fairways and greens average to above average, very nice course layout, friendly help. Tees need some work but certainly an enjoyable round and good place to play. $50 for a round.. a little pricey for the quality.. expect top notch for that price..this was nice but not top notch. Still would recommend.

Browns Run was great this summer. It was awesome to be able to go with the kids and friends and feel a little bit normal The staff made a special effort to make sure the pool/bathrooms and lounge chairs were always clean. The food from the Tavern is awesome too. Can not wait until next year.

Had a great time! Course is awesome and will definitely be back. After golf we ate at the clubhouse and was very happy with our food and the staff. If you have not been here you are missing out.

Our family loved Browns Run pool this summer. The staff was great! The service was wonderful! The facility was clean/safe. We are looking forward to many more years of pool membership!

I had always heard what a great course this is. And it did not disappoint! The greens were fast and true Fairways were in great shape. Had a chance to go into the clubhouse and grab a lunch and it was excellent. A must play course in the area.

Very nice course and in pretty good condition. A serious policy flaw is golf carts. are not allowed in parking lot. My guess is fear of coolers brought in. They need to have bag boys to load bags from cars. Also at $50.00 the service can be better.

Not worth 50 bucks during the week. Poooooor management, I can see why they had to go public. Dont waste your money, you can golf at a lot better courses for half the price and in a lot better shape. They cant even manage the tee times and groups. They started us our on the back because of a league which was fine back made the turn and bam......they started people out on the front, in front of people making the turn. Long waiting backside. Good luck, I will not go back even for half the price.

Fairways, tee boxes and edge of greens are all burnt and look beyond repair. Greens are splotchy and vary in speed and tend to be slow for an upscale course. Rough is thin and bare in areas. Nice course layout but not worth the $55 price tag.

This course has potential. I mean, it used to be a country club! When paying for my round, I was told the greens and fairways were in grrat condition. Neither were true. Huge patches of dead grass everywhere. I was also told they had an irrigation problem earlier this year. If so, fine. But dont tell me how excellent the condition of the course is if the entire thing is starved for water. I played 2 courses in Dayton yesterday that cost less and were much better experiences than this course. The layout is great, but if they want to charge $8 more for a subpar experience, I will drive to Yankee Trace or Pipestone every time.

I have played Browns Run twice this year. Course is in very good shape and well taken care of. However if you are planning an event there beware. 1 week before we were supposed to hold a tournament there they made a lame excuse and backed out (not Covid-19 related). We had 40+ people signed up and are now left scrambling for a new venue. Needless to same I wont be playing there again.

A very friendly owner greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed. During this crazy time they followed all the rules set in place and with that said we will for sure return! Course was in great shape!

Love this old style Country Club setting. Excellent golf course, challanging and in great shape. Excellent greens.

The sign says that the adult swim is 16 an up but got told to get out because I’m not a “adult” ridiculous. The lady’s excuse is that the sign hasn’t been updated. Very unsatisfied. Will not be back.

Took a group that never Browns Run, and they want to play it again. Not in too bad of shape considering the tough summer conditions.

I was a DJ for a wedding there on 11/24/18. The place is Gorgeous inside and the staff was very nice and accommodating.
