Really nice view of lake mendota. Picnic tables and boat launch. Fishing and boat rental in the summer.

A good place for a quick jaunt and be close to the nature. They also have place to take out your boats or kayaks. The restrooms are closed during winters. Not a lot of area that you can walk around the lake though. A good place to have a picnic during the summer time. A lot of open parking space available. Good time to visit is during summer.

Nice smaller park with a nice looking boat landing. Bet its more fun in the summer, but nice view of the lake and ample parking.

Perfect place for a picnic. Boat launch is active, also playground for the kids, volleyball net set up.

Great little park to explore, with lots of small trails to hike, and places to sit. Gets a little buggy in the summer, but on a windy day it isnt too bad. There is plenty of parking even for a busy day, and access to the water is plentiful. Docks for little and big boats. Sit on the beach and tan or sit in the shade and have a drink with some friends!

Awesome view & weather! Definitely a must while visiting Wisconsin. Staff very friendly & helpful.

We had so much fun here. We rented some stand up paddleboards for a few hours and had a blast. The park is beautiful!!! People kept their distance and workers took precautions to keep everyone safe.

Great spot for a scenic summer day. Boat launch is perfect if you have one, and beach is kept clean.

Beautiful scenery with park benches and a small playground for children. I especially liked the sand beach with its close location to downtown Madison.

Marshall Park is a great boat launch. It also has a place that you can rent kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards,. It has great easy access to Lake Mendota from Middleton. There are picnic tables and a small beach to enjoy as well.

Stopped & ate our lunch in the park. It was on the lake, a beautiful day. People were putting their boats into the water. Nice park to sit & realx, enjoy the sun & water.

Good lace for gathering or playing volleyball or boatit. But not good for hiking

Marshalls is so great. I have the boat membership via Madison Boats and honestly the staff is so incredibly helpful, caring. and friendly. They have got your back whether you are a beginner renter or experienced boater. The lake is beautiful from here and you get a great view of the sailboats. ♡

Its beautiful, and it has a boat launch, playground, a secluded shelter and lots of shade, oh yeah the bathrooms are cleaned everyday in the summer.

This is s wonderful way to see Lake Mendota. The park is lovely, and much to enjoy for a family. A good way by boat to see the best of Middleton and Madison. Other rental ‘s available too. Go out side

I grew up living across from this park so it has a very special place in my heart. I love playing on the Park equipment as a little girl, Im a little too big for it now, but it still looks fun. I really love the Memorial installed. It is quite moving. I go here when I need to find some peace and remember the simpler times in life. I love this park.

Plenty of benches some with nice views of lake Mendota. Family friendly park with plenty of green space. Less algae than other years. Boat ramp launch are with separate parking area. Kayak paddle board canoe rental at concession stand. Place to moor boats with good pier set up.

The play structure is very small and is next to a very busy road. It has great views of Lake Mendota but the sitting area is nothing special and is always dirty. Cannot be accessed in the winter as the sidewalks are not maintenanced.

The best boat launch in Dane county and not bad for shore fishing if youre looking for panfish. It also has one of the only sandy beach areas in Madison. Lots of parking options are available too. And if things get crowded, parking on the grass in designated areas is allowed. The green space is well maintained. There are volleyball courts, jungle gyms, grills, a gazebo.The only downside is that when the wind blows just right, algae blooms can get pushed into and trapped in the launch area. It doesnt happen often, but when it does its really bad.

Awesome park! Has plenty of parking, lots of areas for family activities (volley ball, fishing, etc), a kids playground, boat landing, beach, kayak rentals, trails, a small store, and shelter areas with bathrooms. There was also an overlook area where you can look out at the lake and there were people getting their wedding pictures taken there. Very beautiful park overall. Awesome trees!

A very beautiful, peaceful place accented by Lake Mendota!

Nice, 1st time here live in the area. Small beach was right, wish it was a little bigger. But its a great quick little something, something not to much. Park, canoe and paddle board rental, really nice staff working that area. One guy even took the time to show my son how to rock skip. Plenty of seating. Overall I really enjoyed it!

Solid place to launch a boat Two hoses, by the shelter, to rinse Lake Mendotas eutrophic remnants off your boat.

This is a great beach! Morning sun is the brightest. Great place to watch a sunrise. Benches are decent but get used quick on the weekends. Bathrooms are open and there is a little play park.

Peaceful and a lovely view.

This is less of a park, and more of a boat launch. Having said that, it is well set up to launch anything from a kayak to a mid sized ski boat. If you.dont have a boat, rent a luxurious pontoon boat right there. Its great!

We just started using this park/beach/boat launch last year. It is a great spot, made even better by the new boat rental company.

Best Boat Launch out of all the 4 Madison Lakes. 4 Piers as well as a mooring dock in the bay. Also another mooring dock outside of the bay. Marshall Park also has a great Shelter and even a beach.

Use it for boat launching. Has 5 lanes and lots of trailer parking. Bathrooms too.

This park has the nicest boat launch on Lake Mendota. There are 5 places to launch with a great angle, and a protected harbor from wind.

Great boat launch.

Deep ramp is perfect for launching/retrieving a sailboat with deep keel. Lots of parking and room to maneuver with a trailer. Arguably the best launch on Lake Mendota.

The park has a nice combination of things to do and access to the lake. Generally nice and mellow. The playground isnt nearly as large as the nearby Lakeview Park, but that usually means that its not as crowded. My kids never complained about it, and ran around with the other kids. Theres a shelter you can reserve for parties/large picnics which is of to the side and somewhat separated from the main action of the park. There are canoe rentals in the summer. Ive seen the boat launch get kinda crowded, but it seems to work smoothly. I frequently use the park as my lake access for cross country skiing into the lake in the winter.

A quiet Park along the western shore of Lake Mendota. Its a nice place to have lunch with a view of the water and watching the small boats leave from the boat ramp.
