This was the best animal tour we have ever taken! We felt like we were on the set of Jurrasic Park! The site was clean, beautiful ( lush gardens). Our tour guide, Megan, led us to the sloth enclosure, and was warm, knowledgeable, inviting, friendly, and very funny and loving with the sloth, and my kids. They also have 1/2 price specials often, making it affordable to book more than once! We can’t wait to go back!

Overall the experience was nice, however, the poor customer service seems to be its biggest dissatisfied portion for me. I was quoted one price over the phone, however, charge a much different one. This place is pricey for what you are given. The animals are nice, the experience in the customer service office, not so much. For me, I would not do it again solely based on the customer service piece itself. The trainers are spectacular. The park and it’s cost not so much. Buyer beware, the cost doubled for me when it was all said and done. The agents need better training in relation to its costs. For me, it was a one trip visit and I live close and would advise against it for others when my friends come to visit.

We went to ZWF Miami for the first time this past week. It was an amazing experience I will never forget. Our tour guide was Megan and she did a fantastic job! She was very knowledgeable about the animals and was able to answer all of my questions. ZWF Miami is incredible because it allows you to get closer than at a zoo. I love all animals so it was great they have a Special Wildlife Experience so I could see them all! I got to hand feed a sloth, monkeys, and anteaters to name a few! My favorite part was petting the Liger cub! This is definitely something all animal lovers should do and worth the cost!

We did the general wildlife tour for 1 hour and the primate encounter and it was SO. COOL. We loved this place. The tour guide was so sweet and we actually were the only ones on the tour so we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience. Our tour guide Amanda was amazing and very knowledgeable. She took her time on the tour to answer all of our questions. The lion cub interaction was definitely the highlight. I would highly recommend this place.

The place is nice but they were very behind schedule. Our guide was really good but other guides and employees werehanging around in one of the enclosures.. also in the office lots of folks in there socializing but when we waited and waited for my husbands encounter they said there was only one guide and one group at a time... I reserved at 4 pm with the one hour tour... It was 6:30 and we were still waiting with another group ahead of us. We got there early and should have been the first to go. We arrived at 3:30 for the 4pm tour and were the first ones there. Anyway, finally I told them I just want to cancel my husband was fustrated and hungry.. It was supposed to be a birthday gift all the time waiting he just wanted to leave.. they wouldnt let me cancel but said he can reschedule. For a five min encounter its a shame to have to reschedule when we live over an hour away... It was also unprofessional to keep hearing there was only one guide with so many of them in the office and laying around in the enclosure with the Cubs while we were on our tour... I read so many good reviews and was really disappointed.

I Love going to see Limbani! He is adorable and so smart. Jason is amazing and always teaches us so much about Limbani. It is always an incredible experience. ZWF is very clean and you learn a lot about all the animals from the guides but an experience with Limbani is the best!!!

This place was INCREDIBLE! I had no idea what to expect, but we had the best time! It turned out that we were the only ones who had signed up for a tour during our timeslot, so we essentially got a private tour, and got to interact with a bunch of animals! The handler was so knowledgeable and friendly and the animals all loved him. All the animals seemed happy and healthy and very well cared for. 11/10 recommend coming here.

The best place ever!!!!!!!! My husband and I had the best day here. It is small but so intimate and you will be amazed at everything you see. I thought it was way cooler than the regular zoo! Go go go!

I told him the reason was for my mom, it was her dream to be here and i love to see my mom smile.And let me tell you, Mr Mario did everything possible to make our experience the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!, he even brought Jason over (our tour guide) and it was such an amazing experience.We learned about all the animals, types of monkeys, tigers, lions, birds and much much more.We even had a Chimpanzee Encounter!!! It was such a great time with Limbani, its like a little baby with HUGE strength lol.He was jumping and playing with me, taking pictures, hugging us (see some pics below)Not only that, Mr Mario and Jason also introduced us to their cubs ( Lion AND Jaguar)Never in my life I thought I would get to pet/play with a real jaguar!! This place the first time I went too was great. I recently tried to get a reservation of 4 with a promo code that they were offering showing them proof that I reached out before it expired and they were not helpful at all. Will not recommend or go here ever again.

Very nice place and very clean. The staff is adorable. We took the feline encounter and it is really worth it.We had a tour of the park and 10 minutes with a tiger, a white Bengal tiger and a linkx one to one.The animals are very well kept and you see that the staff is treating the animals with lot of love and respect. The cages are super clean.The whole park is amazing you can see the animals really close. And there are a lot of different species.The guide gave us plenty information and answered all of our questions.

Tour guide is great, however, a “security officer” approached our group and told us to move. Once we left the premises he sped off burning tire out of the place scaring not only other families around but their kids as well. I emailed them about this and never heard back. Will not be returning and removed all recommendations from social media.

The tour was great and the guide new all the animals names, but the encounter was very disappointing. I did it as a gift for my girlfriend, and bought only one encounter ticket, figuring that I would just enjoy her reaction and take few photos. But they told me to wait by the reception and would not let me even close enough so I could see her!!! They told me if I wanted to see her playing with an animal I needed to pay $150.

This place was awesome. Our tour guide did a wonderful job on everything. Very informative and up close with the animals. We loved it!

One tip: Book days ahead if you want to have this experience, especially during the holidays. Looks like a very unique place you dont want to miss. Unfortunately we didnt book ahead and couldnt take the tour but we got to see some of the amazing and exotic wildlife, and the team was very kind and professional.

My family and I had an incredible time visiting ZWF Miami. We did the general wildlife tour, a jaguar cub encounter, and the chimpanzee encounter with Limbani. Limbani was the absolute highlight. He is so playful, loving, and an absolute joy to be around. This was truly an experience we will never forget and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves animals.

I was a little skeptical about going because of the cost but it was worth 10x the cost. Our tour guide Gabriel (i think) was wonderful and very knowledgeable about every animal We really enjoyed our tour and definitely will he back!

This was by far the Best experience at a zoo I’ve had! My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here and even an encounter with a tiger cub! I LOVE THIS PLACE! They were very knowledgeable when it came to telling us about the animals, and had many animals they were able to bring out and show us. We got to pet their baby wolf, a snake, two simians, a hedgehog, baby alligators, and an owl. My husband also surprised me with a jaguar encounter, which was the best experience of my life! This little guy had so much energy and was so adorable, I loved it!

Hidden Gem! Wonderful place to visit for all ages. We had the 2 hour tour, seemed like the right amount of time for us. We had multiple opportunities to interact with different animals. As a group, we couldnt touch some animals ... for their safety and ours ... the Lion Cub and the Chimp. Inquire about the individual Animal Encounters.The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and allowed sufficient time for photo opportunities. From beginning to end we felt removed from Miami-Dade County and transported to another land.As an aside, they have food truck service, picnic tables, a bridge and waterfall on premise. We are planning our next visit.

Im so happy we did this. It was awesome. They do tell you a lot about the animals and this place is worth any penny. Its not a regular zoo. These animals are mostly rescued or actually been born there because of the rescued animals. Which makes this place even better. They let you interact with animals and make pictures with them. I cant say it enough this place is awesome. Im definitely bringing all my visitors to this place since I live in south beach anyway. Would do it again and again. Thumbs up to the owners who made this place happen. Its a private property and the owners have been rescuing animals. Thats how you spend your money well if you have it like that. Great system, great thought, great people who work there. A must see.Been sending a lot of friends and family over there and everyone loved it. The best of the best.

The animals are cute, but you dont get much time with them. If the animals arent in the right mood your time could be cut short. Its also pretty pricey. Can still be worthwhile, but personally didnt find it worth the money even at 50% off for the cougar cub photo session.

Hidden zoo but well worth the drive!The admissions is at a reasonable price especially since you get very close to exotic animals such as leopards, tigers and lions.If you want to take a picture with a cub it will cost over a hundred if your an adult and will last 5mins. Not sure it is worth it but I did it for the experience.

Great place. Guides were so knowledgeable and professional. Animals are not trained for entertainment and they are not forced to breed. I appreciated learning about the facility and their practices as well as learning about the animals.

My husband and I did a 3 hour encounter and it was truly incredible. On top of getting a very informative private tour, we got to be up close with all the animals and learn their stories. Emily was our guide and she was wonderful! We fed spider monkeys, a sloth and lesser anteaters and were able to hold some of the birds and reptiles that live at ZWF. The highlight was being able to play with tiger, Jaguar, and cougar cubs and getting kisses from Zobu the lemur. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it!

My husband and I had the best time today. We spent time with a baby cougar, Jaguars and white tiger. The staff was friendly and made sure we had great pictures. You can tell these people are invested in the lives of their animals.

Appearance on outside: this place looks amazing from the outside. The entrance is very cool. only downside to this place is that its hard to find.Appearance on inside: the staff have done a great job on organizing the zoo good and the landscaping is in very good condition.Cleanliness: very clean from the from the outside to the inside.Customer service: all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. People who are reading this review theres one thing I would like to tell, dont set your expectations high.So I started off with general wildlife encounter hoping it would be like some kind of safari but most of all them were in enclosures. But in the end we could interact with few animals like otters, snake and owl, which was fun. I also went for white Lion cub encounter. It was okayish. Happy because it was my first time but I couldnt get any decent pic because of the guide there who wasnt much cooperating. Another thing is its too expensive. Well again, it depends from individual to individuals. Good for kids though.

This place is amazing! What they are doing for the animals should be a model for every animal sanctuary in the world. It is a bit pricey but totally worth the experiences you can have. If you are ever near Miami you need to make an appointment and go see this place!

We booked chimpanzee encounter which was memorable and white tiger was nice but I recommend chimpanzee more definitely, tiger is only good for pictures but he’s not really playful. The staff was friendly and gave us a information about all the animals and they let us feed them. This is one of a kind experience this is a must see place if you ever visit Florida you should definitely check them out.

I booked the General Tour and after visiting ZWF, I think it was the best option, at least for a first-timer like me. I actually got the 50% off from their website. The place is beautiful and well kept. The staff has a genuine connection with the animals and of course, the animals were amazing! My group was lucky enough to have Abella a capuchin monkey come along and she’s too cute! We got a nice tour of the facility and at the end we got to hold and take pictures with several animals. The animals are beautiful and ZWF is helping them. I had a really fun day. I recommend!!

There are estimated to be half a million animals that are beaten and abused and made to perform for entertainment. this type of places makes me sick, those animals shouldnt be interacting with people, i know that people that go there love animlas and want to be closer to them, fewer would think so if they realised the cute cats are taken from their mothers soon after birth, But even if the campaigns meet with success, this wild animals raised and “domesticated” by humans can never be released back into natural habitats.Be wary of weasel words such as “sanctu­ary”, “hand-reared” and “rescue centre” – most of the animals are kept in concrete cages when they’re not being forced to pose.At risk of stating the obvious, animals do not ordinarily behave the way they do when in a show. For example:An orangutan spends almost its entire life in the canopy, it would be rare to see one on the ground or living in a cage.Tigers would never placidly lie next to a foreign tiger let alone a human.Crocodiles keep their mouths open to moderate their body temperature, not because their handler’s head happens to be in between their jaws.This curious animal behavior begs the question, why are they doing it? This place its simply the freaking BEST. I took my partner to this place to meet limbani as a surprise birthday gift and OMG!! The park is very welcoming. The animals are well taken care of. It was a beautiful and interesting day. The staff was wonderful. There were some handicap issues that should be addressed, but they did do their best to help. Again a wonderful day.

Went this past weekend and loved every moment. My husband and I enjoyed a private tour and spent lots of time one on one with a baby cub, a wolf pup, a serval, a lemur, and tons of other critters (owls and snakes and gators and porcupines and hedgehogs oh my!) It was wonderful. The facility is clean and the staff love the animals, and have a great respect for them as well. I highly recommend this experience.

This was an absolutely amazing experience, specifically the chimpanzee experience. Limbani was so friendly and engaging. I think Ill remember his hugs forever! The tour itself was also entertaining and informative. I really enjoyed the interaction with the animals. A MUST DO for animal lovers!

Loved the encounters, my brother and dad did the tiger cub encounter and had a blast they got to play with the cubs and pet them. Me and my dad the sloth encounter and also had a blast, we got to pet with them and be in the cage. The sloths were in a great mood and we’re very active. The workers were very kind to the animals and the animals looked happy.

I went to the zoo with a few friends a couple weeks ago for a birthday. We had a tour and the best experience ever. Chris was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and a great host. Would certainly go back and would definitely ask for Chris again!Thanks for the amazing memories!

I discovered this place from a youtube channel and I have to say I am deeply disturbed by what goes on behind the scenes; a pair of gibbons were kept in a cage barely even large enough for a macaw, animals are kept in what appears to be a kitchen tiled area of a home... On top of that, the personal encounters at this place are really not healthy for the animals; the stress and diseases we are putting them at risk of contracting is terrifying. My girls and I really liked it the tour guide was very awesome the only reason I gave it four stars as Im not sure exactly what the purpose of the place is. If its for conservation or if its just another Zoo and they make a lot of money off of individual sittings with Cubs and baby chimpanzees Etc Im not really a believer of that. If its more so conservation and helping endangered species then thats different Im not really clear on the the purpose of the place even after visiting but we really did have a great time and they did have a portion where you interacted with snakes a hedgehog lizard a couple baby monkeys. I would say if you have kids they really like this place and if you dont have kids youll really like this place also

Amazing place interacting with the animals, I had a great time and a very nice experience.

The family and I had a great experience at ZWF with Chris Metral as our tour guide. Not only was the tour informative and engaging, but the relationship between the animals and the guide left us with a one of a kind experience. The animals here are all rescues or donations and the staff clearly care about all the species in their care.

Will not return or patronize this place.Did not realize the extortion on the animals had it not been for Tiger King on Netflix.

Amazing experience! We bought the white lion cub encounter and we met the beautiful Dana she’s playful, friendly and very sweet. If you do buy the encounter make sure to take as many photos as possible because the 5-10 minutes feel like 5-10 seconds. A few things to note: take your time before getting here because the roads are confusing, long and unpaved. But the zoo itself is beautiful and well maintained! Friendly staff willing to help and educate you. We visited on Christmas Day and accidentally met the star of the zoo, Limbani, after our encounter with Dana. Dave, Gabe and Mariebelle thank you for your attention and for allowing us to receive an even better experience with the tour! We’re extremely grateful and thankful

Unforgettable experience ! This is our 2nd time going! The first time was an anniversary surprise from the hubby and we did the Jaguar encounter and it was absolutely a priceless moment that I will never forget, I was in pure awwww ! We took advantage of the special that they were having and took our kids this time around as a birthday surprise for my daughter that is turning 6 years old, soo we wanted to surprise her with something that she will never forget and I am pretty sure she wont forget the experience as she is still talking about it ! Thank you Gaby for the tour ! and Violet for being such a sweet girl and taking your time explaining about the jaguars! very knowledgeable staff and you can tell she really loves what she does. The tour and our tour guide was great. We paid extra for 2 animal encounters. Even though I paid for 3 people, they only gave us 5 minutes as a group with each animal. Quite honestly, 5 minutes isnt even enough time for an individual because it takes the crew members 5 minutes just to get the animal comfortable before we even begin to engage with it. So its hard to try and pet the animal, take pictures, play with it all while the crew member is trying to get the animal to cooperate or make it comfortable at the same time. It is definitely not worth the extra money unless they increase the length of time to 15 minutes or better. Especially if youre in a GROUP! Stick to the general experience.

This is the greatest place Ive ever been and Ive traveled to a lot of locations and been to a lot of attractions.

Love ZWF. My husband and I have been there many times and given it as a gift to family and friends and never get tired of this place. Limbani is one of our favorites, we’ve had a few encounters with him but this last Saturday he was so much fun now at 3 years old. Also met Karuna, the white tiger and they were both awesome. The staff is always very professional and nice and really help the visitors Love that now we can sign all the consent forms online, very organized and saved us and the staff time. Keep up the good work.
