It was our 8th sunset crouse, but not our last one :) . We love everything about this experience - boat, crew, champagne, view... They provide more value than it costs... please dont forget to leave tips. :)

Tropical Sailing Adventures definitely exceeded my expectations, while the boat isnt very big or new, it was still a lot of fun and worth every penny. The captain and helper were both very nice with a great sense of humor which made the ride more fun. They took us to a really neat island where you can chill at the water or take out the kayak, I would suggest bringing a towel and your own food as they only serve peanuts.

We went in August and Capn Terry and Rob were the best!!! They created such a fun party atmosphere and the island was beautiful! Swimming, kayaking, floating, and beer! What more do you need? This is a great afternoon excursion with beautiful views and relaxing vibes. Wonderful trip and the company is great! We had scheduled back in May but got rained out, they happily booked us for an August trip when we could come back to Florida! Definitely recommend this afternoon trip!

We had a great time. Fun staff and fun meeting strangers. Enjoyed some great views and a couple drinks. Staff was all about helping with pics and pointing out the views!

So this was my 2nd boat ride with Tropical Sailing. South beach Miami in 2018 and Ft Lauderdale this past 4th of July weekend 2020. The staff is excellent from booking your excursion to the attentiveness while on board. My teenage sons love the water . My husband and I love it as well . We had a really great time and I can’t wait until next year to come back .The staff made sure everyone was safe and protected. Worth every penny

Best bang for your buck in Miami! Beautiful scene, spacious boat, and wine/beer for a few bucks a glass! Amazing experience thats to the crew of Jeff Edgar and Nick. They went out of the way to make sure we were all having a great time.They spoke about the city, took pics for us, and were just good company. Def recommend for anyone! Note- get to biscayne bay early as theres plenty to see around before you get on board!

Great way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of fun. Glad we came on weekday at 11am to avoid the crowds. Wish it was a bit longer.

Unfortunately a tremendous scam. They told us to come and just “call our dog a service dog” and then wouldn’t let us get not, not to mention won’t refund our money. Talk about a ruined birthday. Avoid this at all costs. Don’t take the risk.

Refused entry to tour from very unfriendly and rude captain named Adam. Dog is an emotional support dog and trained service animal for my seizures. He is federally licensed as a service dog and comes with me everywhere. He is very obedient, well behaved, and never has caused a problem the past (I have never been denied access with with before).After being refused entry, I was promised a refund for my group of 5 people. I was lied to because the company refused the refund on Viator. I am pretty sure they over sold the trip and denied us entry because they didnt have room. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! SAILING TRIP IS A SCAM!!!!

Oh my we had so much fun ! Captain Greg and bartender/tour guide Vic were so amazing, fun and helpful! Had wine and beer on board for a great price or complimentary soda/ water. The island was my favorite where we could paddleboard, use the water trampoline or just relax on the big water mat. We most definitely do this again. Thanks Tropical Sailing for such a outstanding time in Miami!

This was one of the highlights of our trip, with a wonderful crew, Ernest and the captain, they were most informative and friendly. It was good very good vibes the whole way. My grandmother and I had a wonderful time.

This was a great tour of Biscayne Bay. Sebastian our captain and David made sure we were taken care of. The water activities provided excitement and laughs for our group. A trampoline, a giant mat and paddle boats were available to us. There were coupons on Groupon. We had a great time...

Lovely sailing but I was looking forward to this snorkle:“Arriving at our swim stop, the real fun begins, as you slide into the tropical blue-green water on South Beachs mooring balls marking the Jose Cuervo Artificial Reef, sunk as a promotion during the Sinko de Mayo festival in May 2000”Where we snorkled was much more underwhelming...in a half hour, saw exactly 3 little fish...

A good boating experience, not a real snorkeling experience.This is a review for the Sailing and Snorkling expedition. With the crew of Captain Terry, Mason, Ernest Edgar on 8/16.The customer service from booking was extremely helpful. Sarah was great at answering all our questions and even arranged the perfect time and date for our excursion.The boat itself is spacious clean and steady. The crew is capable and knowledgeable, yet it felt like this was just a job for them and not as enthusiastic as trips Ive been on in the past where they genuinely enjoy the experience and hosting people on the boat.However, they decided not to go out to the listed location (Jose Cuervo Artificial Reef) we originally had read when booking. Instead the first two hours were spent circling around the same bay and same views and it felt a little like they were going through the motions to kill time before they let us jump into the water. We docked in front of some expensive houses and they let us off and handed us snorkeling goggles. There was no reef no fish and you couldnt see more than 2 ft in front of you due to visibility issues and it was basically just swimming and playing with some floaties. A saw an excited family who brought with them all this nice snorkeling equipment only to have to tell their kids they didn’t need it. Then we returned to dock shortly after.The issue I take is that they didnt give us an option for a refund once they knew they werent going to the reef, they just said we will play it by ear. I even heard the crew talking about how they weren’t on the same page about what activity people had booked. Personally, when I am in charge of planning a group vacation its disappointing to block out a significant part of your day for a Snorkeling adventure that turns out to be just a boat and swim.My honest opinion is if you enjoy being on a boat, its a great time. But if you are looking to book the snorkeling adventure be careful of the bait and switch tactic.

This was probably one of my favorite part of my bachelorette party! There was 11 of us who went on this wonderful trip with Steph and Vic! Steph was an awesome Captain and Vic was hilarious with this puns when they showed us all the nice houses. They catered to us and we really enjoyed their company! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

We booked a group snorkeling tour with 30+ people. Before starting we were told it’s a snorkeling cruise, but when we arrived, there were no snorkeling equipments onboard and the captain said it’s just a cruise and swimming trip. Then we were given a bunch of swimming noodles and a couple of floating mats. No fish in water at all. Also the captain didn’t say sorry or anything, very rude.

We booked a Miami Boat Party on the Spirit Yacht Charter for 19 people for a 30th birthday. We had an absolute blast and loved every minute of the experience. You can buy beer/wine for $3 and water and snacks are free. They had a water trampoline, kayaks, paddle boards and a giant float that fit about 10 of us. They played awesome music and Stephanie (captain) and Mario were AMAZING. They are friendly, attentive and made our experience even better. We docked at an island for most of the trip then asked for a tour of the area, so drove around and looked at the giant homes in that area - they were very knowledgeable.

Emailed them 3 weeks ago with an inquiry since Ill be there for spring break. They never responded! How does a business not respond to emails. Pooe service. I went with another company. Do Better!!!T.B

I had an awesome time on this catamaran tour. the price is very affordable. we were able to use stand up paddle boards and kayaks and a water trampoline for free. the small island they took us to was gorgeous. the crew were awesome attentive and very polite. I will definitely take this tour again. Light snacks and sodas complimentary.

Captains Mario and David did a nice job with the tour itself. The Star Island flyby was very enjoyable as was our time on Monument Island. The water toys were great. We enjoyed the kayak and the water trampoline.I am pretty tolerant of just about any kind of music, but what we were subjected to the ENTIRE time was over-the-top raunchy, nasty, vile rap like Ive never heard before....CONTINUOUS misogynistic rapping about f-ing, s-ing male and female body parts. 100% of the playlist was dedicated to this type of music, if you could call it that. We even pulled up on the beach at Monument Island right next to a dad and his kids who looked to be about 14 and 10. I thought for sure the music would change at that point, but it did not.If listening to that for nearly 3 hours at 120 decibels is your thing, then youd give the tour a 5. Not for me. Maybe I/we were the wrong audience. If thats what the tour is all about, then state it up front. Theres no way Id have signed up had I known that.

My wife and I just spent our 5 yr anniversary in Miami and decided to do the sunset cruise... remarkable. Loved everything about it. Beautiful experience

Worst catamaran I have ever been on. The captain shut the bar down within 30 mins or the excursion, claiming two individuals out of 40 had had too much to drink. Pretty sure it was so they could turn a pretty profit. Never again!

I cannot say enough good things about our sailing trip! My husband and I went on the sunset sail this passed Sunday and our trip was amazing. The captain and crew were all very kind! We went around south beach and saw the skylines of downtown Miami, south beach and Miami Beach. They even offered a glass of champagne for the toast of the sunset. We did see the fins of dolphins ahead which made the trip that much more special! I cannot thank this team enough for a rememberable night! Tip: make sure you are on time! And if you are interested in visiting the bayside marketplace go early! There they have food, drinks, music and shopping and it insures that you will not miss the check in. When we went there was serious traffic in Miami Beach that we had to go through so we left a hour and a half early and got there just on time.

BEWARE!!!!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE! They tell you that is a champagne cruise with complimentary champagne. What they dont tell you is that the champagne is not complimentary until 8:00pm, but you dock at 8:15pm. They charge you until then. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!

My fiance and I went on the boat ride and had fun kayaking, snorkeling, we went on the water matt and the water was nice and calm. They had other fun water toys as well like the trampoline, paddle boards etc. Fun fun fun. Very different. 07-24-17 the best boat ride in miami so far thanks guys

As newly weds honeymooning in Orlando, we decided to drive down to Miami for a few nights on a whim. While looking for activities we came across a Groupon for this company but unfortunately it was sold out. We called anyway and Brenda was SUPER helpful with recommending another day trip they offered. We ended up having a WONDERFUL time and will definitely recommend you take one of their tours. Not everyone down in this area are caring and personable but I am so glad we toured with Tropical Sailing. Cant wait to be come back, you guys are a must on the list! Thank you for helping us celebrate our luna de miel :)
