I didnt pay for my hotel as it was a work trip. I wouldnt recommend not parking or bringing your car if you dont need to. $50 a night was a bit steep. I found it more affordable to Uber from 60 miles away and not think about a car for my 3 night stay. The hotel is very nice and the customer service is exceptional. Clean and accommodating. There are great spots to eat nearby with Central Market being the main one. Would stay again but would be weary and it seems to get pricey fast.
Amazing GETAWAY
Spent a week there. Nice spot for a vacation. Amazing location, lots of stuff nearby. Stay here if you can, you won’t regret. Would recommend for all kinds of holiday!
I had an amazing an experience. They were so nice. The place I was staying at matched the description and pictures. I had a had an amazing view and love the space. I didn’t want to leave. They we helpful. Always answers the phone and answered any questions I had. I would definitely use them again next time I plan to stay in Miami!
This place is amazing. It has the best location, great restaurant, beautiful pools and most relaxing environment! Cant wait to go back!
Considering the restrictions on travel. I did a staycation for my 37th birthday. It was a great suite with a view and the property manager Clarissa was responsive promptly when needed. Definitely will return. My friends enjoyed and it was just relaxing.
The staff (especially Clarissa) was amazing and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. There was an issue with check in(no fault of theirs) and Clarissa was quick to solve the problem and get us settled into a different room. All in all great management and a great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a longer stay in the Miami area!
The vacation home was breath taking they were so nice when it came to me possibly needing to extend my stay they were very helpful in helping with that I will definitely! definitely! Stay through icon residence agian 5 ️
Staff was extremely nice. Room was beautiful and I did not want to leave. Love this hotel
This place was extravagant. The room was extremely clean, the living room, kitchen and everything else was well kept. The customer service was great as well. I was accompanied by Clarissa who helped me with everything I needed at all times. Thank you! I will definitely be coming back!
Stayed at Icon last November for a bodybuilding show that was close by, trip was amazing and the hotel is fantastic. its walking distance to most things I needed and having a kitchen was awesome. Gym was clean and HUGE, most hotel gyms are pretty basic so it was nice to have everything I needed at this hotel and Ill be staying again this year. actually staying a little longer this year to enjoy the city a little more.
This was our second time staying at the Icon Brickell Residence and we truly enjoyed both times! The 2/2 apartment was spacious and accommodated all of us well. Considering the current situation, we truly appreciated how clean and comfortable it was as well. Had an amazing view with a large balcony. It’s nearby many restaurants so whether you want to go out to eat or just stay in and order there are a variety of options available. Only minor downside is the WiFi isn’t the best but other than that, AMAZING! Will stay again. Sabrina help us with the checked out, she is so kind.
Great place to stay, very clean, the customer service was perfect. Any question I had, I just texted or called and I had a answer shortly after. Loved the experience.
My experience Was amazing I had a great time the room I stayed in was beautiful and clean. Staff was every nice Mark Johnson was very professional and helpful he answered a lot of questions that I had about the area and said whatever we needed we could just give them a call so that was very helpful. Overall everything was great !
This place was amazing!!! Great location, staff, & atmosphere. The property was super clean, the room was super comfy and immaculate I hardly wanted to leave the premises. I had the pleasure of staying in the Presidential Suite on the 45th floor and the views were everything!!! I travel frequently to Miami and Can’t wait to return to my new home away from home.
I absolutely loved the condo! The view was everything and front desk was super responsive. I cannot wait to come back to Miami because I will definitely be staying at the Icon Residence!
Check in was fast and super easy. The room was super clean, nice view and spacious. The person who helped me was Elise, she was super responsive via text when I reached out to her.
I had an amazing an experience. They were so nice. The place I was staying at matched the description and pictures. I had a had an amazing view and love the space. I didn’t want to leave. They we helpful. Always answers the phone and answered any questions I had. I would definitely use them again next time I plan to stay in Miami!
Let split this is go and no go. The apartment was very good. fait kitchen, bathroom OK, nice balcony (we were on the 48th floor) good living room and bed. Lot of space and fine cleanest place I ever been in Downtown Miami (lots of very old, not great hotel there). On this part, we were very happy and love the place. On the other side was some surprise, not well advertised hidden fees. The final price was still fine, but it started at 150$ and ended up at 250$ a night with the this and that. More transparency will be better, because the place is great and will please people, show the right price on first sight. Last recommendation; put a name like Office on the office room, much easier to find you.
My stay at the Icon Brickell was just amazing! I loved my room and the service was impeccable! Clarissa and the staff were so great after we missed our flight they extending my stay one more night just as great! I will be staying here again in the future.
The rooms were nice and clean. It took a little while to get registered but it was fine. It’s close to everything. The view is awesome. The staff were so friendly and prompt
It was pretty good there were a few issues but overall it was pretty decent.
Not a fan of the check in process where you send pics of your ID. Apprently this is due to coronavirus but i dont get why i need to send id by text. Other than that one gripe the room was clean, had a fridge, microwave, and a nice view of downtown miami. Was a bit pricy with the taxes.
Mark and Clarissa were great! Very professional and respond right away. I’m coming and you would definitely recommend this place!
Great location. Great room. The views unreal Will definitely book again. Mark & Clarissa were extremely helpful.
Mark and clavissa were amazing my stay was nice definitely going to book again next week!
Beautiful place, clean rooms and beautiful views, quiet and the staff were very friendly especially mark, I totally recommend this place,
Mark and Clarisa are AMAZING!! the location is fabulous!! We will be back a lot. Cleaning was amazing. Room was my dream home !!!
Spent my 18th bday here! the room was spacious and the views were amazing. staff was very cooperative
I do not recommend it, for the price I found much better places. The announcement is a deception, they announce it is a Presidential dwelling, but it is just a simple apartment with a beautiful view. I felt cheated, I asked to cancel at the reception and they did not accept to return my money, this when I saw that I had been cheated.Maintenance is horrible, everything has a problem, the balcony does not close and I with three children, they had to improvise to close using wood. Air conditioning turns off at night, Internet sucks and the instructions for use are wrong. The worst thing is that it is not a hotel, there is no service for anything, not even bags, the reception of the rented apartment is in another apartment, everything improvised.Vallet pays for each hour of use, which was absurd to be expensive if you leave 3x in a day by car.
DO NOT STAY WITH SUNNYSIDE. I stayed 14 nights with Sunnyside and could not be more disappointed with my experience. I was lied to about having access to the pool prior to my arrival, which we were not able to use for the entirety of our stay even though other residents and people in the W hotel were using it everyday. Made me feel like a second-rate guest. Management was incompetent and unable to help me with any of my requests - claiming they had no control because they dont own the building. The building smelled like weed constantly. There was partying all the time in the rooms around us. The rooms need updating and the halls are dark and dingy. The thing I was really looking forward to about this place was using the pool and got a complete bait and switch. No reason to stay here without access to the amenities. Wasted hours waiting to try to speak to management and continued to have my calls avoided. Full voicemail. Ridiculous. Had such high hopes for this place, but would not recommend anyone stays here with Sunnyside. I had such a simple request and was willing to overlook all of the other inconveniences I had, but management refused to do anything to help me.
Mark J was pleasant, helpful and professional which made our stay all the more of a positive experience.Hope to return again soon.Thank you,Lorna H.
The property is on a stunning piece of land and has amazing panoramic views in a perfect walk-able district of Miami. The buildings are edgy and modern designs and very unique, there is 3 towers with a roof top pool, 12 floor super pool, and the most stunning spa and fitness center the world has known that Ive been to at least. The unit itself was an awesome corner unit, with a view of the water and the canals and greater part of the city. I could not have been more happy with the place. Sabrina and Alex where however the stars of the show, being super helpful and fun and getting me a room for an extra night when my friends didnt tell me they forgot to get a hotel. I love Sabrina! I dont know how else to say it, she was just the coolest and most helpful staff person Ive ever met in my life and put in a real effort to make things awesome for my stay! I will for sure be back!
Mark Johnson he was good helper and he tell us anything we need he can help
Amazing stay. Was contacted by staff prior to arrival to check on us and make sure we had directions. Beautiful room and pool. This is our new favorite place to stay in Miami
This unit/condo far exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful, with the most incredible views of the ocean, key Biscayne, and Miami. The condo itself was spacious and elegant. But the headliner is the huge balcony and THE VIEW! Wow!!
This is a sham with all there properties. They list inexpensive prices on the web site to hook your credit card and with the fine print charge you a $200.00 dollar cleaning fee. Run from this company. Should be laws to pertect you, but welcome to Florida. Find a better vacation spot. I suggest south Carolina great place no hidden fees.
The bathrooms at the room we were given were disgusting. The shower floors are covered in mold, with mold growing up the walls. The master bed sinks in the middle and none of the beds were made with a fitted sheet. There is nowhere in either bathroom to hang towels and only 3 hangers were provided. Overall a nice location with a stunning view but gross
Great views, good people, great area!!
Love the location and amenities..only minor issue is I think the bathroom is dated..I like separate showers. And this condo had a old very deep tub shower combo!! Room was clean but to small..so this time we r trying a presidential version...lets see if there is an upgrade on accomodations..
Great and easy check-in. Very helpful staff. Called before our arrival to assist in any way. Beautiful place and furnishings. Will definitely return!
Property was beautifully furnished and amenities meet all of my needs. Would definitely return to this property again.
I loved the hotel and management ... would definitely go back
All around great stay
Buyer beware. They have fees upon fees. They say they are a hotel, but operate as an Airbnb. There was no mention in the add of the 200 dollars in mandatory fees for cleaning and amenities. The nightly rate looks great, but once you book it it more than doubles.
I stayed for a week and called to replenish the amenities and i was told that I cant get any unless I order a deep cleaning service. I left one day early and didnt get a refund.
Views were unique & spa awesome!! Missing a market
Ana Paula & Jay Eddy. JP & Gaby Joseph. My family and I stayed at Icon Sunnyside Resorts on our way to Rome, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Alejandra and her staff were professional, very accommodating and the cleanliness of our apartment was superior. The people we met in the elevator said the same thing. We will always stay at Icon Sunnyside, clean, Fabulous location, managed very well & upgrade at no cost were impressive.
I just spent the weekend in Miami to attend the FOOD and WINE festival; I had the pleasure of staying at the ICON RESIDENCES by Sunnyside! Let me tell you, I had an AMAZING time in MIAMI and throughly enjoyed my stay at the ICON RESIDENCES by Sunnyside! The employees and staff treated us to a 5 star experience during my stay! Sabrina and Alejandra were especially helpful meeting all of our needs during our stay! It really does make a huge impact when you travel out of town and the staff is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your experience! Sabrina and Alejandra definitely went above and beyond, and I am so GRATEFUL for my time spent in Miami and at the ICON RESIDENCES by Sunnyside! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and keep amazing people on your staff like Alejandra and Sabrina ICON RESIDENCES by Sunnyside!
Let me start with this, the location and views are great! So it’s not exactly a one star place. But the only reason this rating is so low because of the hidden fees. I booked this through a third party, and there was no indications that there was a mandatory amenities and cleaning fees and also the $250 deposit. Even though the person who checked us in explained that this was more like an Airbnb, and that the deposit would just be a hold in case anything happens. But even on Airbnb cleaning fees and deposit amount are listed before you confirm a booking. There is also a mandatory resort fee, but this was listed on the booking confirmation screen. So before you guys decide to book here, just think it over carefully.
The best, perfect location, great view, everything very clean.
The condo we had is GORG!!! We LOVE the process of checking in. We were taken care of ASAP with good instructions on how to check in. EVERYONE here is amazing, Alex and Sabrina have been all accommodating hosts. I would DEF stay again and highly recommend.
Good location, great facilities! Can see sunrise and sunset both from balcony!
Very nice apartments. Everything works well. Good service. Wonderfull pool and pool area. Nice view and nice surroundings for walkI dont usually go anywhere in the world twice but here I might come second time. I still remember this visit as one of my best.Minuses are that in downtown Miami trafic is horror if you dont know surroundings and parking can be nightmare. So book your parking beforehand. Changing lanes can be very challenging cause nobody is polite and thinks only himself and at least my navigator was too late very often.
The room was nice and clean. The reason Im giving it 4 stars and not five is because Sunnyside does not have parking in this building. You can either pay for valet parking which is $30 and $10 each time they get your car or park across the street for $25 a day and the parking has very limited spots.
Celebrated my birthday weekend by staying at the Icon Residences by Sunnyside Resorts with a friend and it was the best decision! Due to the gloomy weather we were a bit limited to any outdoor activities, however their on-site restaurants and array of amenities (specifically the spa area with indoor pool) made it so much easier to enjoy the celebration without even having to leave the property. The room had spectacular views and was beautifully designed to make you feel right at home in such a luxurious setting.
Amenties is always a plus!! The residence view is nice..but room feels dated..plain furniture..im big on bathrooms..very dated..i hate shower and tub combination
Abrasive, unprofessional and unaccountable management team. Threatened to cancel my reservation without cause.Did not properly disclose that the pool was under construction and not available for use until one week prior to my scheduled check-in date. After reading negative reviews online, I called in prior to my check-in to confirm that the pool would be available for use. At the time, the company’s website prominently featured pictures of the pool and clearly stated that amenities included a rooftop pool and did not mention anywhere that there was a $25/per guest/per day fee (website has since been amended after I complained about this issue). On the phone, I explained that I had made the reservation back in August 2017 (scheduled check-in date was March 2018) and that at no point in the past 8 months had management informed me that the outdoor pool was not available for use. Management offered to allow me to cancel my reservation – however, given that the reservation (for the following week) was for the same weekend as both the Miami Open tennis tournament as well as the Ultra Music Festival, booking another hotel at that time would have cost $500-$1,000+ more.I tried to explain to the management team that booking another hotel that late would be cost prohibitive and that no one had reached out to inform me of the outdoor pool closure in the 8 months since I made the reservation. I respectfully requested either a waiver of the $25 fee to use the other pool or some form of consideration on my reservation. The representative became curt and asked if I wanted to cancel the reservation. I told her no as I had nowhere else to stay, and she abruptly hung up.Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a call from the manager to inform me that, as their rooms are not hotels but rather private rentals, they are under no obligation to honor my reservation. She asked me repeatedly how many guests would be staying in the room and, after I told her it would just be one other guest and myself, threatened to cancel the reservation if there was any “partying” in the room. Overall her attitude was confrontational and extremely unprofessional. After I got off the phone with her, I received an email requiring a $500 security deposit, which was inconsistent with the terms that I had agreed to when I made the reservation, which only stipulated a $250 deposit. As a result of management’s extremely hostile and confrontational attitude and their unwillingness to be accommodating in light of the previously undisclosed pool closure, I didn’t want to give Sunnyside my business and instead looked into alternative lodging arrangements. Ultimately we ended up paying a significant premium ($600+) to stay elsewhere at a property that was of a lower quality and located approximately 20+ minutes further away, rather than give Sunnyside our business.Overall my impression of the management team is that they are dishonest and unaccountable. Would recommend to avoid unless as an absolute last resort.

Booked a unit online for rental around $100 a night.Upon arrival tons of fees of over $550 including deposits and mandatory fees are added. Please do your research and call these people before you book and make sure all fees are put into a line item so you can see what is being charged.Im leaving 2 star and not one due to the fact that i was able to cancel my reservation.
This place does not deserve even one star!DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! they are SCAMMERS! Read the reviews people! they have multiple “hidden fees”, and the employees treat you with absolutely NO RESPECT!!!!! Despite paying hundreds of dollars for staying here, the service you receive is worse than the Motel 6!Disgusting, unprofessional behavior towards guests and misleading advertising!Just so you know the “ luxury pool “ they claim they have has been closed for YEARS!!! It’s never open so don’t expect it when you check in!
If I could review this lower than one star I would. I recently stayed here for work and unfortunately it was one of the most horrible rental experiences I have ever gone through. We booked for 3 nights of our first week of the trip and 3 additional nights the week after. First of all let me start by saying that we booked through hotel booking, with a price that was around 100 a night. Upon booking they charged us an additional fee that we were completely made unaware of until after of 250 dollars. I felt scammed from the start but tried to keep a positive outlook. After booking we received confirmation that our check in was at 2. We arrived at 2 after traveling 8+ hours, extremely exhausted and were told that check in was at 4 and that there was nothing we could do despite their email clearly stating check in was at 2. Check in was miserable they do not have parking and charge 30 dollars a night for valet and additional charges every time you move your car. The valet workers were very rude and made us unload and carry all of our bags alone without offering any assistance what so over. Once check in was almost complete they told us we had to pay an additional 250 dollar deposit that was also not listed anywhere. We paid the deposit in cash and stayed for 3 nights Upon our return the following week we experienced the same issues with valet and check in, however this time there was a different gentleman checking us in. We were prepared to pay for the 250 dollar deposit once again but this time the man said “ oh if you are paying cash it’s actually 300”. We mentioned that we stayed the week prior and paid 250.... Not a good look, so I spoke with the manager who stated that the deposit was “200” which after I approached him about the price said oh actually it is 300. It seemed as though they were trying to scam us at every opportunity and were extremely rude when we asked for clarification on pricing. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE. This rental company is scamming people and have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.UPDATED AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: JUST FYI TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STAY HERE THE THEY ADVERTISE A LUXURY POOL THAT IS NEVER OPEN and has not been open for 2 years!!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!
I attended a Clutch Couture Event in an apartment here. The views are breathtaking and the space is super nice.
RENTER BEWARE !!! Actually 0 StarsIf you are traveling with two or more beware we were embarrassed, yelled at, and told by POOL MANAGER “LUCAS” to leave the premises and escorted off the pool because one of my guest did NOT have an access card. He was so rude and irate and super unprofessional. I asked for his superior which he than stated he was the highest, flat out lie, than retracted and said “Stacey” while the whole time he knew he was suppose to call someone for me. He made a show in front of all the guest and treated me like I was committing a crime by not having one member of my party with a wristband. I would like to state all around pool security was polite and respectful. Pool manager was the most horrible mean and clearly did not deserve the title of pool Manger his customer service skills were NO where to be found. He had me so upset to the point of losing my cool infront of my granddaughters and crying. Horrible experience. Would like to thank James Braum General manager for taking the time to address the situation. He is possibly the ONLY reason O would think about returning to ICON Residence.Mrs. Crespo-Torres
Location is great, markets, cafes and easy to get around. Get one of the rooms with SPA and pool access.
A well located property. Everything is walking distance. Beautiful condo next to the W hotel.
Beautiful views for days on end, plus the customer service there is unparalleled there and you have the privilege infusing the spa which Is immaculate as well as the fitness center, pool, sauna and steam room is all included, pretty awesome deal for your money, totally worth it.I love Sunnyside Hotels & Resorts!
They downgraded me from an ocean view unit without notice and explanation. The showers in the bathrooms had mold all over them. Very dissapointing.
Was a really good our stayed in the property. We will come back.
Cool place
Do not book this place!! Look the other way!!I was going to give this place 3 stars, but Alejandra O and Alex(might be the same person)got the other 2 stars taken away! The customer service at this place gets 0 stars! There is a lack of communication between the employees. The place is not a resort, it is apartments. I paid almost $500 a night and it was only worth maybe $100 a night. I paid $75 for parking at check in which was $25 a day for 3 days. Parking is way across the street from the apartments. I received a $30 ticket from the parking lot the day after checking for nonpayment. I guess one of the employees forgot to pay for my parking with the $75 that was charged to my card. When I got to the room (2910) there was gum on the night stand. I sent pictures and was told that they were sorry and would give me a complimentary cleaning the next day at 3pm. I called them at noon the next day to see about getting extra towels when I was informed by Alex(I think it’s the same person Alejandra O) that I wouldn’t get the complimentary cleaning at 3pm bc the cleaning ladies were getting off at 2:30pm so I stated to her that the cleaning lady could just come at 2pm. At the time of the call I also stated to Alex that the door to the master bedroom wouldn’t close without slamming it. Alex said that she would send maintenance at 2pm with the cleaning lady. At 2:04pm, I called and spoke with a clueless male employee and was put on hold for 3 minutes while he spoke with Alex. He finally connected me with her after I told him I wasn’t going to hold again. Alex came to the phone with an attitude and stated that she told me the cleaning person would be there at 2 something not 2. Which is a lie...I then told her to just forget about the cleaning and just make not that it was offered to me, but wasn’t done. I emailed the so called resort to inform them that nothing was done and Alex responded with an attitude stating that someone from the resort called me early that morning to confirm my cleaning which is also another lie. I called them at noon, no one called me! Then she stated that if I still wanted the cleaning she could reschedule it for the next day. I declined because it had already been rescheduled and I wasn’t spending my 20 year anniversary waiting around for them to do what should have been done before I got there. My checkout was for Sunday. I messaged Alejandra O on Saturday and stated that I would be checking out at 5:30 am and I needed to know where to leave the keys. She stated to me to go to room 3506. I said ok and thanks. At 5:30 went to room 3506 and no one answered the door or the emergency phone number. I waiting 5 minutes before hanging up. I had to leave the keys downstairs at the front desk. I emailed the resort after I left the keys telling them where to get them from. I just checked my email and there was an message from Alejandra O stating that the business hours are 9pm and that I never told anyone what time I was checking out. I replied with screenshots of the messages between Alejandra O and myself the day before where she stated to me to go to room 3506 after I told her I was checking out at 5:30 am. She hasn’t replied to the message..The master door was hard to close, the door where the water heater is did not close all the way and the toilet to the master bath would not flush! I sent pictures and videos to there email as proof.I don’t know who own this property, but Alejandra O, and Alex (might be the same person) needs to be fired and you need to take better care of the apartments because they are outdated. The furniture is ok, but the inside structure needs updating! This was my first time visiting Miami and will be my last because of your The Icon Residences by Sunnyside Resorts!
Regarding management’s response to my initial review, there are numerous falsehoods and misrepresentations in their statement.First, I was never contacted at any point to be informed of the pool closure. I am a business professional so I am required to routinely check all voicemails as well as the spam folder in my email on a daily basis and I can say with absolute certainty that I never received a message from Sunnyside Retreats.Second, management’s accusation that I threatened to damage the property is an outright lie. Notwithstanding the fact that they had my credit card and contact information on file which would have made such an exercise entirely counterproductive, the accusation that I threatened them with violence is baseless and libelous.Third, as I explicitly noted in my initial review, Sunnyside in fact denied my request for a waiver or credit of the $25 fee to use the other rooftop pool, so their assertion that they offered to credit me the $25 fee is another lie. Having the fee be credited was in fact the first solution I proposed when I contacted them one week prior to my reservation (when I first became aware of the pool closure) and I made that request at least one other time in our follow up conversations. Had that request been honored, this whole situation could have been avoided.Lastly, I would reiterate that my original issue with how Sunnyside handled the situation arose from the fact that they failed to make their guest aware of the pool closure (a material development) and then, when offered a reasonable compromise (to waive or credit the $25 fee to use the other pool), was unwilling to accommodate and, when pressed, became hostile and aggressive. As I clearly explained originally and detailed in my review, the issue was that because I was not made aware of the pool closure and it was now one week prior to my check-in date (with the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Ultra Music Festival both set for the weekend of my stay), it would have been extremely cost prohibitive for me to make alternative lodging arrangements. I did not insinuate that Sunnyside tried to prevent me from cancelling my reservation nor that they tried to hide the fact that they are a property manager and not a hotel – my issue was and continues to be that, whether due to genuine oversight or purposeful intent, Sunnyside did not make me aware of the pool closure and, when made aware of this oversight, refused to take responsibility in a manner that a guest would reasonably expect from a hospitality management company.I would strongly advise all guests considering booking with Sunnyside to read the other reviews available both here and on other forums, which overwhelmingly corroborate my experience. Overall, the Icon building is indeed a nice property and, because Sunnyside is not a hotel, guests may perhaps be able to get a bit of a relative pricing discount. However, that must be carefully weighed against the potential cost – both financial and otherwise – of having to deal with an extremely unprofessional, abrasive and duplicitous management team that clearly does not prioritize customer service and will in fact resort to publishing lies about their guests rather than taking responsibility for their actions.
The keys did not work and had to be let in my room twice which took one hour. one elevator is out of service and half the buttons don’t work on 3 more. Valet lied and said they gave me a valet ticket and charge me 64$ for this, and waited 45 mins to get my car!!! The valet called me and my wife liars to our face and said we were trying to steal the ticket?!?! Makes no sense? Room and view was ok at best. Floor check in was polite. Patio was very dirty, windows dirty and cigarette butts. Big, Go to the Hilton it is cheaper with nicer rooms and much better service.
The shower in room 2009 is a slip-and-fall hazard and is not ADA compliant. The unit did not have the number of beds advertised; we did not have enough beds for everyone. Wifi did not work, and management was VERY slow (four hours) to respond. There was no phone in the unit connected to the front desk, and then Sunnyside management was slow to help with problems in the unit and sometimes rude. You have to go up to the 35th floor to check in, and then go back down for your luggage. Management was inflexible about checking in even though I prepaid for the room and had special needs, since we were there for the hospitalization of my grandson. A/C was pre-set at 68 degrees in summer, passing along high cost to customers. There is a bar in this hotel that is trending now, very popular with young adults. A dozen or so piled in one unit, but had to stay in the hallway for two hours before they were allowed to check in. I checked out a day early and notified Sunnyside management of these problems. They have yet to respond, although they told Expedia they were mediating with me. This is NOT family-friendly or even standard. Beware.
I stayed here during a familiar trip. I must say the apartment were fantastic. The check-in was quick and easy and the spa was awesome. We will be staying with Icon Residences by Sunnyside Retreats whenever we return to South Florida.

It was like home and view of the ocean and the apartment setting was great
The views! But not enough hot water in the shower.
Blatant price misrepresentation. The cost of the room is 100$+400$ in fees hidden until you try to book.Dont waste your time.
Sunnyside was able to help my family and I out on our vacation here in Miami. We were able to cook in the apartments, use the pool, spa etc. Icon Residences is truly beautiful! Would recommend.
The Icon tower is the worst place to stay at. The so called manager that takes care of the apartments is very negative and has a smart attitude with you. As soon as he was walking us to the room he was giving me a hard time. Telling me that I was going to be charged extra for the guest I had when I had that included with my reservation. Gives you false information, like saying that they have in their web site that their pool is under construction. When I looked it up and so did my cousin, it doesnt or didnt say it was. Their pool has been close down for 3 years, thats what the guy said to me. He also wanted to charge me $50 for an access card that he said we took which we didnt and we found it in the apartment. Theres no parking you have to pay for the valet service, so if you need to leave couple of times they charge you every time to take out your car. Ended up relocating.
Luxury suite feel like home!!!!
Awesome place to stay
Nice location in downtown, however really dated. All white room. Some color would be nice. The carpeting in the halls is old and it smells like it. The hotel staff was mostly accommodating. The valet situation can get kind of crazy. Maybe it was just the particular week I was there. Unfortunately I did not get to enjoy the pool, gym or spa, but I did speak to some other guests who rated the facilities highly.
Everything was clean, comfortable, easy, perfect for business traveler or family traveling to Miami...close to Brickell City Center...only negative is that the pool is under renovation...
Worst service than Any lower priced Motels!!
I have worked with Sunnyside for 2 years and they are an amazing company.
Great pool!
Just wow!
What a scam
The whole place was nice and it was real clean and a good vibe
Beautiful room, but does need some updates. They charge for everything including parking.
