Intimate venue with hilarious acts by local comedians. The bar is stocked with some great draft beers. 5 comedians performed on the evening I attended. The comedians were all super friendly and invited everyone to hang out for drinks afterwards. Its a fun and affordable way to spend a Thursday evening while visiting Miami!

Big fan of JTF. The comedy fest this weekend had amazing acts and had two incredibly comfortable and spacious theatres (and a nice bar!).

Was a really fun show. Good price, great comics. Definitely recommend to everyone looking for something different to do on the weekends. Spread the word.

Little improve and comedy club way off the beaten path, but it was a fun night out and not expensive. We took a long Uber ride there that was twice as long back to Miami Beach in late night traffic. It was improv battles and some were better than others; but, hey they are doing this on the fly with audience input. My daughter defines herself as a theater kid and she had a great time and laughed a lot.

It was definitely different. It wasnt stand up Comedy. It was Improv. I had an ok time.

Layed back vibe. Interesting and vivacious comedians-- doing their Improv Thang! Loved it! I even scored free tix for a future event and signed up for a future Comedy Sketch writing workshop!

This place is perfect for any occasion. You could start your bar hopping night here, First date, bring your friends,side chick, mom or your stepdad. The shows are cheap, funny, and interactive.

This place is a hidden gem!! The comedy is fabulous and tickets are so affordable. We went on a date night and laughed for the entire two hour show! And with tickets to the Friday 9pm show, you get free admission to an 11pm show they do, so that’s an awesome perk! We will definitely be coming back. Parking was easy, staff was friendly and show was super funny. The cast is energetic, hilarious, and super relatable. Recommend everyone to come here and check it out. You’ll be glad you did...I know we are glad!!

This place is awesome on two levels:1. A great date night. Very entertaining comedy club. The improv shows are always hilarious and never the same show twice. They also have a smaller room with adult beverages and a stand-up stage.2. Take the classes! Loved my experience going through the improv comedy track here. Made tons of new friends and had a blast.

Came here for my birthday in November and had a wonderful time. This was my first experience with improv and Im very happy we came here. Everyone is super friendly and incredibly funny and just want to make sure everyone has a good time. I felt that the audience was very included and the show felt lighthearted enough that everyone was comfortable participating. If youre looking for good comedy in Miami, I highly suggest Just the Funny. Everyone here loves what theyre doing and it makes for the most amazing and memorable experience. Will be returning when we come back to town.

Love this place. Great classes, shows, and performers. The vibe here is awesome. Its very accepting and comfortable. I was new two weeks ago and they made me feel so welcome. Also theres a cute little bar in there with local beers. Pretty cool.

Better than I expected! Dont be fool by the way the building looks. The intimate space is filled with talented, down to earth comedians than want you all to have a good time!There are two theaters one of them has a bar where they serve a good selection of beer and wine called the spotlight.Love this Chicago style comedy. This place is an awesome night out if youre looking for a comedy club type feel thats also affordable recommend 18+ though. The only negative thing I could say about it is that parking seemed lacking and you had to park on the street.

Found this hidden gem on living social and I was completely amazed. Finding the location was a bit difficult, but once we were in we were treated by warm friendly faces. From the moment you walk into the room the laughter does not stop. This place was totally worth it and inexpensive. Next time were in Miami well definitely stop by again. Did I mention the prices are great and if you book online we got free snacks.This place is great for a date night or just something to do as a group. I definitely recommend this spot. Totally worth it and you will not be disappointed.

Random hole in the wall that provides an instant escape from Miami... It was pretty cool I enjoyed the show and it was definitely improvisation. Oh and the beer selection was awesome as well... Gonna visit at least 1 more time if the experience is the same Ill up this to 5 stars

I’ve never been to a comedy place before this one and it was a good time. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and the seats were really comfortable. The performance was incredibly funny. I laughed so hard I almost peed myself.

Just-Not-FunnyIt had been a tough week and my date and I needed a good laugh so we decided to check out this comedy club. Honestly theyre show is unlike any comedy standup Ive ever seen. In fact this honestly isnt standup where you have a few comedians and then the main headliner, this is more like an experimental high school thespian club theater show that takes audience stories and tries really hard to make them funny. Honestly it felt more like comedy therapy, where the comedians were somehow trying to help the audience members work through past life traumas. I laughed less than a hand full of times and eventually we left early because the show was kinda boring and sad. Honestly I think its a cute venue and great location but its just not that entertaining and not very comedic. While its definitely a unique spin on your traditional stand up comedy club, it kinda missed the mark in my book.

Such a fun family friendly (yet still funny) time!! Perfect rainy day activity or just when you’re looking to mix it up.

Ive come here 4 times and my experience has always been fantastic. iIts never a dull moment!

I went last night with my girlfriend, we both loved it. Some skits worked great and others not so much, but the performers kept the show going and never let it get to them. This was my first time watching live improv, definitely going back with my friends.

We had a pretty great time. Lots of laughs. Cerebral and crude. Loved it.

I called several times to ask about parking but, nobody answered. The street parking machine that was outfront didnt work and there is no clear place that you should park. The entrance door is hidden. Others and I walked past it twice. Place looks old and sketchy. Kind of feels like a nightmare trap as you go up the stairs, turn left, follow homemade signs pointing farther down the hall, go around the corner, passing lots of doors that dont make sense. You find yourself at the end of long shadowy hallway guessing which door to open. No ticket booth, no usher. They market to teens for $5. tickets but, there is plenty of cussing and obscenity. The bartender is the ticketbooth. Stage and room is so small. It felt awkwardly close. They hustle the bars offerings before, and after the show. The performance started late. It felt very short in length and was 2nt rate at best. This was not theater, and it was not comedy. It was hard to follow, sophomoric, random sketch. I will not likely return.

Best improv comedy place in town! 2 shows for the price of 1 and it will have you laughing the entire time.

Love this place. I both perform in and watch shows here. Always a safe--and funny--bet. Great for dates, or with friends or coworkers. Every show is different because its improv. Every show is made up right on the stage in that moment--never seen before and never to be seen again.They now have deals for going to more than one show in a night, and serve beer and wine. Two stages tow choose from and lots of great improv!

My husband come at least once a month to see our friend perform. Great crowd, comfortable seats and funny shows. They used to have a popcorn machine (which I miss), but they have chips and canned beverages. They dont sell alcohol, but they have a bar/lounge across the business where you can get before going inside the theater.

Improv shows are entertaining! Its nice to have a place like this in the community, theres nothing like it around. They have a bar now too. Fun alternative for a date.

I am a huge fan of improv. I have been to Just the Funny maybe 20-30 times since moving to Miami. I used to love coming here, but the quality of improv is inconsistent and pretty amateur. More often than not, I am disappointed lately. It seems like maybe 20-30% of the comedians have true talent, and the rest are just friends goofing around and having fun while making some money. Go, and support local arts, but dont expect the quality of an UCB or Second City.. or even Sak (from Orlando - which is great btw)

As the name describes, this place is just funny-- Miami Improv at its best.I came here on a Friday, and the place was packed, but my husband I got good seats at the side. The crowd roared in laughter, and all activities they did were interactive and hilarious.I am a tad bit shy, so when I was called to go onto stage (without raising my hand), I was a bit surprised. Paired against another audience member, I was supposed to use the hands and body of the cast member I was assigned to tell a story against another cast member. I was a bit nervous because I had trouble following the story, but nonetheless, it was very fun and allowed me to step out of my comfort zone.Tickets are priced fairly at either $10 or $12, and it gives you the opportunity to relax, have a good time, and share a couple of laughs with the audience. You can clearly tell that everyone who works there enjoys what they do.I will probably come here again if I am ever in the need of live entertainment, but please note that you may be called out from the audience to participate, even though you may be that introvert who is secretly hiding in the back.And the adventure continues...

It was what youd expect from an improv comedy show. Some of the entertainers where very funny, the other felt very stiff and dry. Sometimes the comments from the audience made us laugh more than the show.

Visiting Miami for the weekend, I spent the night laughing at the improve actors at Just The Funny, it was a great time!

Great experience, if you want to laugh nonstop the whole night, this is the place to be.
