Here I am bicycling across Florida and I just want to stop by and see the Miccosukee Resort... So, today after pedalling 28 miles east on Route 41 I roll into the Resort and am turned away... Am told it is the policy of the Resort that you must enter in a motorized vehicle, no walk in or bicycle in... For those of you doing a bicycling tour or hiking around Florida do not waste your time stopping here as they will turn you away...

I really enjoy going there for the whole day, I get to enjoy the buffet which is for me well organized and well garnish... the service is quite fast and pleasant which made the place a want-to-be-routine-day. The gambling area is quite nice and have a lot of nice gambling slots and machine that have those flashing lights and amusing sound. It doesn’t deserve a 5 stars because the area is full of smoking people, even though it is legal.

Love the way it is now with the smokers outside or too make it fair, those rooms enclosed behind the glass doors should be for smokers only. I didn’t like the casino before with the smell of smoke before. There was no ventilation in the casino, it was just a cest pool for germs and the smoke made the place look dingy. The machines could be updated with the more popular machines and a blackjack machine and a roulette machine as well are needed then it would be a real excellent experience and a money maker for the owners.Well I love the way the casino is now and hopefully it stays like that along with the hours!!!!! Awesome time there.

Place is run down carpet needs to be replaced, gaming machines are old and outdated only a few newer machines near the swimming pool room, change machines dont work properly long lines to change tickets, on a better note hard rock casino was great clean newer machines great restaurants take it from a Vegas local dont waste youre time at miccosukee... Hard rock has the Vegas experience down to the bars and restaurants for hard rock........

Very nice hotel rooms, I must assume a good family-friendly resort. The number of families and lack of people on the gaming slots made me conclude that. We asked the service desk where the restaurant is and was guided to the hammock; her the service was poor and food a little better than that. The buffet in the morning was free for us we may have over paid, but the staff was great. We did not get to try the fine dining this may be a different story.

Don’t know why truck drivers suddenly aren’t allowed to come here to spend money. Pulled in tonight in my truck and was demanded to back up all the way back to the main road by security guard and told truckers aren’t allowed on property. I’ll just keep my money in my pocket then, that’s fine

To many rules if your machine has a problem I mean this you will be sitting in front of your machine not playing waiting for more than 45 minutes for someone to finally fix the bill paper out. There are no promotions the machines are very tight. Dont waist your time going all the way out there when youll find much better in aventura and broward

This place it is not good anymore. Old machines and the payment is very low. Now you can see people all around with the same criteria. I want to assume that the pandemia Is the main reason it order to do relief any money. Now you go there with 500 dollar to play for a while and in less than 2 hours you run out of money, and keep the same tendency over and over again. If you compare with before I use to go with the same amount of money and you spend all night long playing, sometime you hit at least a mid jackpots or machines keep you on the game. Not anymore.

Employees were pleasant and everyone seemed to be doing their best in light of the recent health concerns.

Only have slot machines, no tables open due to covid. Also no free drinks, you have to pay for your drinks while you donate your money to them. First casino that Ive ever been to that closes, they shut down at 1:30 am. I think next time Im gonna try Seminole Hard Rock. Ill let you know how that is.

I moved closed to the casino. I would love to go everyday but unfortunately they don’t have any kind of roulette or black jacks games. At least an automatic roulette machine would be nice. Hopefully in the future they have these games because unfortunately I don’t play slots.

Fun casino! Usually has high stakes bingo but due to covid, it is closed right now. Still was fun, tho. Worth the trip.

Place is dirty machines are not cleaned also machine payouts are almost nonexistent the car out machines do not give you change. If your slot machine malfunctions average time for someone to show up to fix the problem is 1 and a half hours this casino owes a lot of money to the federal govt in taxes and has been going downhill for the past 2 years

Really nice casino. Its a kind of a drive from the city but worth it! I went a couple months ago when it opened after the closures and had a great time.

Went to this casino to hang out with my cousin. We made the best of the situation. A lot of older people gambling or younger people either coupled up or with their children so it was hard to find the crowd to hang with. The drinks were cheap and the bartenders were definitely heavy handed on the liquor. Overall had a great experience.

Pros: The room was perfectly clean and bed was very comfortable!!Cons: When you arrive you must pass by the casino where people can smoke, so there is a lot of smoke that is bad! Very small non smoking area in the casino!!The location was next to the Everglades national park, but far from everywhere else!

We got there a little before noon. Its a nice spacious place, friendly atmosphere and the staff was there ready to clean machines.

It was very clean. Beautiful. The restaurants were not opened, nor were the gaming tables... Covid, I understand... but the slots were almost all the same... No variety of games, almost all of them were just Lotto, Lottery and Lotería... Lol theyre was not one poker machiche (we asked the nice attendant) We played, had a good time, made the best of it. But when we called for service on a machine that wouldnt take our money, a battalion of men surrounded the machine, I was going to explain what was wrong with it and the repair man (not security) was extremely rude!!! Security tried to apologize for him explaining that he was very busy, but no one deserves to be treated rudedly, no matter how busy one is. They have to fix these things if they want big spenders to stay. I did win money and thats why the three stars and not two. But if we were treated better we would have probably stayed and spend our winnings there.

Do to the pandemic they had the social distances going on which was a great thing i just had to wait for my favorite game which is diamonds and I got to give it to them they took all precautions upon arriving they checked u and while your stay the had it map out I love this place I hope on my bday I can get my compliments with a free baby dinner

The breakfast buffet price has gone up from $9.99 to $22.00. The worst part it is the same food and worst service for more money. Definitely not worth the upcharge. We were a party of 11 people and the service was horrible. Staff constantly called us sweeties and we kindly reminded them that we are ladies and misses.

Horrible spend 8 hours there didnt see anyone hit a jackpot. People were complaining about this machines dont pay anything.... The whole point of going to the casino is to win of course, but if your money doesnt last anything you Dont have fun. I recommend spending your money somewhere else where at least it will last....

Great place to throw away your money. On a serious note i did win 150 dollars️The second floor is where the action is at . Live music great place to chill after hours, and dance. If you feel hungry, they have a buffet. I honestly enjoyed Bravo Italian restaurant on the second floor . No smoke smell .! Our waiter was so attentive Mitrie she was super super nice. The food was delicious. Love the lasagna also the chicken Parmesan is the best I’ve tasted. And the chef was amazing he came out to greet us. Their pińacolada is delicious!! They are generous with the food portion. Outside at the dome they occasionally have viewings of PPV fights. I’ve Been to a couple of them and had a wonderful time. Definitely would go back!

Stayed a couple of nights here with my husband. Lovely room and hotel. Hotel staff was wonderful! If you get a chance to hit the buffet in between the slots, do it! Great meal! Oh and the pool and spa was just what I needed. Thanks for such a nice stay!

Not many people, nice alligator show, museum is nice. Beautiful nature walking, excellent gift shop/ souvenirs.

The Hotel Room was Dirty also the Air condition didn’t workHad to wait until Saturday afternoon to get it fixed.Ask to be switched to another room The Front Desk said they only had a few rooms left and they were booked for Friday night. So we had a hot n mugging Friday nightAnd there shuttle didn’t pick us up until 6:20.,We made arrangements to be picked up 4 pmNow to the Casino it was Dirty n filled with smoke from smokers They had NO Air exchangers Just a Horrible place to stay

Went to play the slots had an emergency and had to leave with out redeeming my tickets I returned two days later only to be told that my tickets were no good few to new policy that only gives you 24 hours to collect. This new policy is not on the website, the machine or the ticket its located in a obscure place near the exit

Very nice place to spend time and have fun.

Room was nice and kept very clean. The food ranged from decent to mediocre at best. No fridge in room. Dont count on a late checkout. After a five day stay, my request for a short extension was summarily rejected with the explanation, we dont allow those on Saturdays.

The rooms, the place, n the service all are good. Only wifi is the sad part. Theres no signal inside the rooms.

As bad as it can be. I would not go there ever again. Not all the slot machines are open so is like impossible to win.

Im sure that if you are into slot machines, you would probably give this place 4 or 5 stars. The restaurant upstairs is a different story. Heres an all you can eat buffet that has an average choice of food selections, some of the dishes are 4 to five star while others are not worth eating. The service is slow and the prices have doubled in the last year since we were here last. Its nice that you no longer have to wait on line for 20 minutes with the new pricing and that there are now plenty of tables available, but price wise I could have went to a sit down 4 star restaurant for about the same money.

Great food special $10 wow, what a deal! But as for the casino no table gaming and old facilities.

I read through a bunch of other reviews... seems a smoke filled room full of video gambling machines passes as fun times these days. Uh, you can play better games on your freaking phone people! We stayed here, heading to the Keys, thinking itd be neat to gamble a bit. Looked all over for something non-electronic (see note about phone above) but nothing. The buffet was edible, not memorable. I realize this is owned by a native American tribe, but that does not alleviate the requirement of providing a nice atmosphere (read breathable) and great food. Pay the money, get a good chef, hell hire sous chef, they teach your crew, great food! You sell more, youll get clientele who have more money to spend. And make two very separate areas, one for the ungodly number of soon to be cancer patients, and another for people who love fresh air. That was horrible for non-smokers, cant see us ever returning. Oh and poker tables, blackjack, roulette? Maybe laws we didnt know about, thats different.

Great service, the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside is there is no choice but to smell the smoke from the casino as soon as you walk in the door. I felt very safe.

If you like slot machines...this is your place. If you like overly expensive drinks, but good service...this is your place. I didnt realize there were no table games, nor any video table games or even an option to play video poker?! If you like any of those types of games in the casino, dont bother. I will say, the food options were very well priced and there was an array of different menus, which was cool. The hotel, on the other hand, was a nice option. The staff were very friendly and the room was nice, spacious and clean.

There were a lot more security measures to get in through the front door but once I was inside everything seemed normal. The staff walked around more ensuring that social distancing was being taken seriously.

The place is great for a get away to gamble & to do awesome activities in the Everglades. I recommend getting the breath taking views of the Everglades while visiting this place. Smoke free rooms & gambling make it pleasant for the people who dont smoke.

Its nice. They cut out the smoking inside and due to covid they are no longer serving drinks while you play. You pay for them.

The breakfast buffet was slightly above average and the dining area was clean. Our room was clean but had no refrigerator. I did not like the lobby entrance filled with smoke to get to our room. Be sure to cash out your gambling voucher within 24 hours or they rip you off and keep your money. There are no signs that warn you about this in the casino and the void date is in very small print at the bottom left of the ticket

This is our third time here, food is good and friendly staff. Only thing is Casio is small but machines are good. Nice place to get away.

Have stayed here many times. Very clean,staff great, food just okay. There is a language barrier but most speak some English. Room very clean and comfortable if you like a fluffy bed. We go for the bingo and like it alot.

It is ok. The location is secluded and almost off the map. They dont have black jack or any desirable dealer tables you would require. The food is similar to that of a concession stand at a football game. The crowd is mostly older humans between 50-99 that smoke cigarettes. Their are not enough waitress to bring you drinks and you will be waiting over 40 minutes for a drink, so get your own before you sit down to play. There is a small area that may be none smoking all the way in the back with more slot machines. The best part of being here will be driving away from Miami to parts of Native land that has been untouched by colonizers. Its a beautiful sight to see and a sense of calm comes over you as you leave the big city lights to head out west. Its not the HARD ROCK for sure and theres no modern gift shops or clubs but, its worth the drive for the experience.

This was my first time going to this casino. It was so far out there is absolutely nothing around it. They didnt have many slots that I would play . I think they need to upgrade their machine. It could be a great place to come too but I didnt win anything.

This was my first coming to this hotel and it was very nice. The place was clean, neat, and organized. I came for a school organization breakfast and the room was big enough to fit us all. Bathrooms was cleans. And the food we had for breakfast was AMAZING (especially the croissants. Everyone had at least 3 of them).Very nice experience here at this hotel.

I love it there. Their rooms are clean, the buffet is tasty and the casino is awesome.

Negative: Price was high considering how tight the slot machines are.

I left my luggage for a moment in the chair that is 2 meters from the reception in the lobby at the main entrance When I returned someone had grabbed my backpack, report it immediately with the reception and the hotel security team about 20 minutes Then they took the person a woman who had stolen my luggage but after checking it was missing my laptop and all that happened a few meters from the reception of the security guard at the entrance and video camerasand the worst was that the manager told me that they did not take charge or take responsibility for anything that happened What kind of hotel is this which does not take responsibility for the things that happen inside in its reception.... shame on you Miccosukee hotel......all this happened on April 10, 2019

Awesome environment specially during weekdays, Tuesday-Thursday. The cafeteria has a good choice of food at very reasonable prices. Breakfast at the buffet area was included in room rate and believe me it was no continental but a much better one. Congrats to the resort for having Rubi; very nice waitress from Colombia. Room rates very reasonable too. Rooms clean and neat. Valet parking excellent. And finally casino environment with all Vega style machines with good payout...we really enjoyed Miccosukee Resort & Gaming... will come back...

We had So much fun, live in Marathon, so we didnt stay at the Hotel. Gambling was great. And the restaurant was so yummy !! We loved it, we hadnt been there before, its a little over a 2 hr.. Drive from Marathon but Well worth it !! Definitely we will go again .

Buffet style dining.Every day is a different theme.Great selection, and most important, great tasting food for a reasonable price.Trust me, you’re pants won’t fit by the time you’re done.

Only good thing I can say is its clean. Slots are the tightest of any casino I have ever been to. Played $60 at machines in the 10-50 cent range, with only a handful of payouts, and never more than a few cents. The non smoking area only has a few machines. Many machines were broken in both smoking and non smoking areas. Dont bother coming here.

Nice hotel but that’s all. Staff could not answer simple questions about the property. Dining options poor. No need to stop here unless it’s on the way to somewhere else.

It was nice, a lot of smoke. Yet there are a non smoker and smoking area. Great live entertainment in the bar. And theres an indoor pool. Parking is a hassle but you will be able to find it. Great time.

The worst place to be. Its forbidden to walk outside. From the truck stop whos only 500 feet away, you need to get a taxi to go to casino. Thats stupid thing

The customer service is very bad, they have bad slot machines cuzz you can spend $5k and none of those slot machines paid.I believe they are getting the money back after weeks closed for covid19, NOW they are taking money without excuses...the casino, so to stop that i enroll my self on the program Exclude me, is more safe foe smart people, micco is very poor place and the drinks very expensive...please take my advise

Didnt like that there was no smoke free access to hotel. We ended up getting sick and checking out 2 days early have to get a hotel somewhere else in Miami last minute on New Years Eve. I was informed I would get 1 of the 2 nights refunded back to me. I have yet seen that refund.
