Aquarium of the bay is a small, but fun place. It has enough kinds of fish to keep you entertained. My favorite part was the jelly fish tank which changes colors and most of all the fish tank tunnel! It was really cool to get a view of the different fishes going through the tunnel. Its the only aquarium Ive been to with that long of a tunnel. This is a great place to go locally if you want to see the fishes.

Love all their aquariums. The have some of the cleanest tanks and it will be difficult to find a dead fish. Id definitely want to buy all my fish from here. They staff is so nice and helpful. They also can have some great deals on some corals.

Let me start this by saying that I have been to many, many other aquarium stores. None can compare to Ocean View Aquariums, NONE. The level of expertise and help you receive from the staff is phenomenal. They have knowledgeable personnel who truly understand the chemistry behind the hobby and who are more than willing to help you solve your problems. And believe me, there’s no problem they can’t solve. I’ve been going to this saltwater aquarium store for more than 3 years now and I could not, in good conscience, recommend any other place to my friends and colleagues.The base for any successful saltwater tank is the WATER CHEMISTRY, and boy do they have it down. There are employees there who can solve nearly any chemistry issue even if they have to think outside of the box to figure it out. These guys know what they’re talking about.This is not a cheap hobby by any means, but this store has AMAZING PRICES, lower than the competitors, along with wonderful associates who know they’re stuff. It truly means a lot to have people who work there who are ready and able to send you home with all the information you need to keep your new friends alive.There are several other stores in the area, but if you want the BEST SERVICE and PRICES and SELECTION of FISH and CORAL, go here, you will never look back. They even have SALES, I got two Zoa frags at 2/$30 on a zoa that would’ve easily cost me $15 per polyp at other stores, let alone $15 for the whole frag. I am new to the Saltwater hobby and Ive always been intimidated to get into it because Ive always heard that it is more expensive than freshwater and that it is a lot more difficult. Ive walked into lots of different stores on bird road to ask questions and see if setting up a reef tank is something I could pull off. Usually its always the same, the employees will eye you over to see if you look like youll spend lots of money, or theyd push stuff onto me without explaining why I need it.Ocean View is a refreshing Local fish store that will definitely be my go to store for any of my reefing needs, I went on Sunday afternoon and two employees took their time to walk me through all of the steps to setting up a new tank. At no point did I feel they were trying to force anything on me and I genuinely felt they wanted to help me enter this hobby. The prices are awesome compared to what I had been seeing online and in the other stores near this one. My only two complaints would be that there isnt any freshwater fish here, but on the same coin that makes the employees specifically knowledgeable about Reefing in particular. Also the parking situation is pretty bad but I was told that to load up water you can park out back so that helps a bit.Overall an awesome reef store close to home that I can wait to get back to!

I love to come here. My preferred aquarium to be honest. Theyre always very helpful and answer my bajillion questions. Theyre very nice folk and are very knowledgeable in the saltwater tank hobby. Their location is lovely. They keep everything clean. Enjoyable to shop for your fish, corals, and other necesites. I definitely recommend them whether youre a beginner or an expert in aquariums. Totally horrible experience they sold me a fish that gave my whole tank velvet and i tried to bring the fish back and they were extremely disrespectful wouldn’t even give me 1$ worth of brine shrimp and one of the employees was constantly trying to hit on me and were laughing it was an extremely horrible experience and I deserve an apology I left there store in tears never thought I would get treated that way at a LFS

Havent purchased anything from here yet but just talking to Moses made it clear that this is definitely going to be my go-to place for all my reefing needs. Just the fact that he understood the CO2 to PH correlation was awesome. Not to mention the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of corals and livestock has me sold. Dont go anywhere else!

This is by far the best Aquarium Store in the area. They are so attentive, the customer service is amazing. I had my fish tank custom made by this shop, they gave me the best price on a top brand tank. I purchased the best corals, they also carry rare fish and corals. If i can give the a ten star i would. They stored my corals and corals while I got a new one from the manufacturer. They held everything for a month, saving my fish and corals that I had a lot of money invested in. No other store would do that.Have a deep respect for that kind gesture. Immaculately clean state of the art looking store. Everything looks new and clean. Everyone has been super nice every time Ive been there. They have a very nice selection of fishes as well as merchandise. Corals are starting to get better. Their selection of inverts is ok. Definitely a must see place. Would love to see an out of this world display tank.

Ocean View is AMAZING I am a first time Aquarium owner. The employees are very very patient and helpful. They dont make you feel stupid for asking a Billion questions. Great Aquarium Shop, Great Staff. Nice fish and corals selection. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A little low on inventory sometimes. Fish are prophylactically treated. Youll often find very fair prices, and some unusual specimens. This is my usual go-to reef shop. I trust this shop.

The store looks really really nice. All LED lighting on their tanks. Granite countertops. The store is immaculate & really well organized. Not too much live stock to offer though. Mostly softies like leathers is what I saw although they did have some very nice fish like a clown trigger & wrasse but that was it. Prices are typical. Decent amount of merchandise & a plethora of chemical products available. The staff is alright. Decent store overall.

This was my first time there and got help from Moises on setting up a very small tank. Loved the place, very organized, clean, professional and their prices were the same as what I had seen on Amazon and the customer service was great. He was not in a hurry to get rid of me and explained my options. Ive been to several other shops and this is the one Im staying with. The outside of the building looks a little run down (not by fault of theirs Im sure) but when you walk inside it looks great. The kind of aquarium store you want to hang out at and take your time to look around at all the fish and corals in the place. Most of the other shops Ive been to are too crowded with boxes of equipment, tanks throughout the isles with little room to walk or too crowded with just about anything. I will be going back to Ocean View Aquariums soon for more stuff.

Great place to buy saltwater fish. Clean, healthy fishes. The only cons is that sometime you have to wait 10 min to be attended.

Poorly stocked in comparison to other saltwater stores in the area. There was only one other customer in the store and two people working, they looked straight at me, but didnt acknowledge my presence. Thats okay though, but I would improve on the customer service skills because it does make a difference in the overall atmosphere. What made me walk out of the store empty-handed was that some of their fish in two different tanks had some sort of disease. The fact that the ill looking fish were housed with coral frags steered me away from buying anything in the store. Some fish seemed just fine, but I wouldnt take the chance of taking one home. Also, the seahorses werent housed properly (no coral to grip onto, only plastic straws), but thats purely my opinion. Theres another aquarium store that I typically go to, and immediately you can see the profound difference in fish health and customer service.
