Nice clean place price correctly great staff Susan is awesome

I lived here for close to 5 years. For the price, it was one of the better places aesthetically to reside. Prior to moving in I filled out an application. I hadn’t purchased a travel trailer at this point, as I wanted to assure I had a place to have it moved to. I was informed by Susan that it would take 3 days to do the background check. So a few days later I went into the office to find out that I hadn’t passed the background check. I then told Susan I wanted to speak to the owner as I had no criminal past. My credit was bad because I lost everything due to my illness, but they had told me prior to filling out application that wouldn’t be a problem. I was contacted by Melba and we spoke and it was decided I could move in. Then Susan told me I had to have a 2002 or newer travel trailer. Plus I would need to send photos for her to see if my trailer was acceptable. I complied. Mind you this was in 2015. I saw many older trailers/RV’s move in after myself throughout the years. Plus metal sheds were a no-no. But they were still being allowed. They seem to like control. If they liked you, rules didn’t apply. So about a year or so after living here, I had a colony of Africanized bees in the tree outside my travel trailer. I contacted Melba asking if they paid for that being it was their tree. No they didn’t. So yes, I was a bit frustrated, that I had to pay $250 to have the bees removed. I’m chronically ill so was pretty sure if I got a bunch of bees stinging me I’d probably not survive it. Melba came down to my trailer that day and told me if I didn’t fuc#%n like it there I could move to the park next door, or elsewhere, and that I complained too much. Not sure where she came up with that, but if you inconvenienced them whatsoever I assume then you were a complainer. They provided the worst customer service I’d ever experienced. I liked the size of the spaces and I did have the nicest space in the park. However I would have moved in a heartbeat if I wasn’t on a fixed income, because of how hateful they were. The housing authority contacted them a year or 6 months after they had initially contacted them, as the 1st time around someone else got the apartment. Susan had completed a form the 1st time they contacted her. She even asked me if I was moving. I said if I get an apartment I would be. She then told me she said nice things about me. Which I felt was deserved, because I was never late on my rent. Always paid ahead of time. Never late on my electric. Rarely had visitors. I was considerate of my neighbors, kept quite and kept to myself for the most part. Got along with my neighbors. Kept my space neat and tidy. But the next time the housing contacted her she wouldn’t complete the form. I informed the lady from housing to contact Susan by telephone. She did and got nowhere. Susan was rude to her. So they realized it wasn’t my fault that this form wasn’t being completed again. I get approved for my housing. I’m now going to sale my trailer. Got someone interested the first day I advertised it. They go to speak to Melba about remaining in the park, and are told it’s too old to remain in the park. I had seen one older than mine move in a few weeks prior where the owner had drawn peace and hippy stuff all over it. So I knew this was prejudice. I told Susan I was filing a complaint. No more than ten minutes later Susan arrived at my door with a ten day notice to vacate. So that’s the appreciation I was shown for nearly 5 years of being a good tenant. Thankfully I found another buyer who moved it and my deck. I’m so glad to be out of there! Not because of anything other than Melba and Susan. I could right a book about this place, but figure you the reader would get bored. They were,and are bullies. As far as having an age limit on a recreational vehicle, I can understand this. It’s when they allow some to move in with older units after they tell you in 2015 you have to have a 2002 or newer. Plus they started raising the rent $100 every year the last two years I was there. No real upgrades made.

While the lady who answered the phone seemed polite enough, just FYI for anyone interested in checking this place out, I was told my 25lb puppy was too big for this park, only small dogs. Just a heads up. Wish I would have known before calling.

Horrible place to live at. Susan is a she devil that think she is god. My elderly mother had to leave her home there that she worked so hard to purchase. Susan and Malba are made for each other there both complete idiots. They would even let my mother sell her home after living there for over a decade. She never was late on her rent. Karma is a mother fer.

Rude and incompetent! Im a landlord and was returning a call for their requested tenant reference. These people couldnt be more dense. If you are good with or like working with stupid people you will find it here! Reading the other reviews these morons with their self-importants dont care how they treat good people.

Came by to see if we liked park but was told we could not even drive through park and look at lots. Rude lady at desk. By the way I am an African American! Before I put in a application with all my personal info I would like to see the area. Not for my family!

Quite people mind their own business

Horrible place, they have stolen homes here. The manager Melba Aguilar is not right. She will say anything to get you to move and leave the home behind. I seen her approve a family then not renew the lease just to steal the home.

My story would be very long to write but they were very rude and unprofessional the front desk people! It must be only if you are a person of color but its very weird because one woman was clearly Mexican and so am I and my little family. She seemed very uptight and hostile remember where you come from stay humble! Iam proud where iam from and where my parents are from iam just appalled how everything went down. The rudeness/application seemed like I was going to get a job with them or something. Anyways Im glad a dodged a bullet I was able to find a beautiful place with a nice swimming pool etc ! With someone who was very professional/nice not racial profiling!

I went there asking about renting/ buying homes. I wanted to see which units were open but i was just given a long application and told i couldnt have any info until i gave them my info. I am not going to put in an Application for a place i dont like. She stated it was for the safety of the children and they had to make sure I had no crimes against children on my record because they were a family safe park. Mind you I had my 4 kids with me. I understand not allowing someone to move into a family park that has crimes against children but to deny them even looking. Wth? Obviously i have no crimes against children since I HAVE MY OWN CHILDREN. And no way would I randomly put in an Application for a place that is so rude and that i am not even able to view. But I guess God had a plan for me as later that day I got a lovely 3 bedroom house in a nicer part of town with a nicer landlord.

This place is a joke their prices are not as advertised.

Good place. Quiet and affordable. A bit dated and could be clearned up a bit...

Great Staff. They are always willing to help. The grounds are nice and maintained. Laundry room is available for reasonable rates. Mail boxes are on site. The neighbors are great people too. I was planning on staying here just a couple of months and due to the fantastic place and the proximity to the 202 I have stayed much longer.

Just finished staying here for 1 month. Didnt read the reviews until i went to write my own. Wish i had... To be clear, every single bad review i read was exaclty what we experienced. Rude, do not care about your needs, abuse of power. Randomly given a 10 day notice to vacate for no apparent reason. Pool area is only open when convenient to the park manager.

Lets face it...this park is not in the greatest part of town. But for the age of the park, sure it lacks cosmetic upgrades, but the monthly rate is very fair, not gouging like most newer parks. They perform background checks, so your neighbors are respectable and quiet. Its relatively clean, yet slightly worn.The spaces have room to breath, with a mis-match of rock, yet liveable. Show me a trailer park with a warm and friendly staff...its probably charging 3 times the monthly rate. This park is cash only (cashier checks)..no credit cards accepted. I have been very satisfied with my stay here. Its not a resort..small pool only. Not geared toward winter visitors, more a safe place to park. There are spaces available for RV parking.

If my husband and I could give this place a minus 5 stars we would.....take heed to these reviews about this place and staff being incompetent, rude, and unprofessional......the lady he spoke to first didnt understand anything he said and the following day another lady, very very rude, started talking down to him and yelling and I cant tell you what he told her and hung up on her......this place is an unkempt dump........stay away from this place.....Susan doesnt understand anything you tell her and Melba, I believe thats her name, is the rude woman that yells and curses you on the phone if you question her or try to resolve an issue.....we hadnt even turned in our application......glad we found a respectable clean place instead of this trash dump

The staff at the front desk do not care if they inconvenience someone, they like to abuse their power and every decision in the park is up to the staffs discretion and they will kick you out just because they can. My mom needed to register her car and the front desk woman Susan gave them a 10-day notice to move, just like that.

AGE DISCRIMINATION!!!!! Just spoke with the lady that takes the applications. Because my son is 19, she does not want him to live there. She stated that theyve had teenagers live there before and it just doesnt work out. I explained I would be paying the bill so she wouldnt have to worry about him not paying but it was the fact that he is a teenager that gave her a problem. I had to remind her that she is not allowed to discriminate based on someones age. I, of course will not place him somewhere he is not wanted but thought all of you should know what kind of people are running this place.

Was gonna move in here in 2 weeks, got a call Thurs saying they are raising the rates by $100. Not so great neiborhood or park was just good enough for the price till they jacked it up. Im glad they didnt drop that bomb on me after moving in though.

I went there to see about renting or buying in their park. I was met with total disrespect and rudeness. Its like they dont want to rent or sell at all. Which is a surprise as there were about 15 units empty.

Horrendous experience here. The management staff and owner are extremely rude. Melba will hang up on you if you call her with any questions and treat you like an inconvenience. Susan doesnt seem to process information very well and that makes her impossible and frustrating to deal with. The owner (Im assuming) told me I was being f***ing stupid when I was trying to resolve an issue and mysteriously, about 2 weeks after the issue, my veteran husband and I were served with a 10 day eviction notice with no reason listed. Melba hung up on me when I called to ask her what was happening. I could go on and on. Move here at your own risk.
