Course in good shape. Not many yardage indicators. A range finder is a must.

Was great and all but there is NO warden keeping up the pace of play. And there is no ball washers. Had fun either way!

All in all, my experience here was pretty good. The staff is extremely friendly. Fairways and rough are also in good condition. However, the greens were beaten up, especially on hole 9. There were also tons of pitch marks that needed to be repaired. The last thing I will say that needs to change is the pace of play. Yes, I understand this course will bring in tons of snowbirds and beginners, but come on, they can hurry up! There needs to be a marshal out to quicken peoples rounds. I have yet to finish 18 holes here due to this.

This was a nice course with a friendly staff. The wait time was awful and we waited every hole. Course was in good shape, they let the roughs grow out more than most courses, so even if you slightly miss the fairway, you can lose your ball. The bunkers were pretty thin with great growing in some. The greens were in good shape and played true. The price was fair. Note that this is one of the few courses that are walkers and that can effect the speed of play. I want to give this course a higher rating, but I reserve 4&5 stars for exceptional & and beyond exceptional. Say 3.5 reading towards 4

Fairly wide fairways with some tough holes, a nice challenge for the average hacker.

Good luck getting someone to even pick up a phone at this place.. never in my life have I run into a course that so frequently doesn’t answer the phone (how you making money) and if it’s after 2pm your SOL.. icing on the cake is the head pro shop guy is a total drag. Never seen that guy smile or even be polite to a client before. If you hate your job.. just quit man! 2 stars for having a range on grass that’s seldom full otherwise I got no business here.

Pretty good course.. better than in the past. Price for morning tee was $60 on golfnow.. $50 - $55 would be closer to what i think is the right price.. but its winter so expected...

Staff was friendly and rates were very reasonable for Thanksgiving weekend! The course was in beautiful condition! I would golf here again and recommend to family and friends.

Good quality course, bad quality bathrooms, no ballwashers, and sparse water. They dont seem to answer the phone very often and also cram way too many golfers on course. Full play took 5 solid hours.

No ball washers. Lumpy tee boxes. Greens need to be cut and rolled. Blow the debris off the fairways, will speed up play. Nice fairways.

110 degrees when we wrapped up our 18 holes this Saturday morning. Positives include good pace of play & course in pretty good shape. Negatives are $31 green fees in the heat of summer & no cart girl for cool drinks although they do have cold water on the par 3s. Nicer courses can be played for a cheaper rate during this time of year - even on a Saturday morning.

Scrappy greens, no ball washers, disgusting bathrooms and all that for $60 green fees. We definitely will not return. At best this is a $30 course.

Played on 3-31-19 for $38 at 1:30pm - Wide open course. No ball washers and the cart drinks person only came around once. Overall is a very good course but do expect for their rates to drop come May 1st.

No rough to speak of. Cant lose too many balls to water or hit many out of bounds. Could go low here.

Played January 26-2019 .Have played at Toka Sticks for several years, always bringing visitors with us and were so disappointed in it this time! No ball washers, no garbage cans, tufts of grass in bunkers, greens were covered in divot marks and the bag drop staff was lacking. At the end of the round, our bags werent even taken off our carts for us. On the plus side, fairways were in good shape and the pro shop staff were great. Has there been a change in management? Has staffing been cut? Definitely over priced for the lack of service and normal golf amenities. No ball washers...really?!?

It’s not gonna wow you with anything but it is solid at everything. It’s well maintained, it has a great location and nice little place to play. Great course for beginners all the way to experienced players. It has very very reasonable prices, definitely give it a try!

Decent, casual golf, but nothing special; lower prices (+1) than the high end courses in the area; at the airport. Has a nice new clubhouse. Adjoins the Four Points hotel. Popular with locals and price conscious snowbirds.

Staff top notch..really care about the customers...track well maintained, greens like super quick, challenging from any tee box...

Enjoyed the golf course. Will play again. All the staff was informative and friendly. Best course for the price we have played in the area so far. Very walkable course if you choose to walk. They do give a $5 discount if you walk.

Great course to get out and have grass on every shot. One of the few parkland golf courses in the area. This is not the best practice facility, but still a good course usually at a great price and nice guys in the shop.

Poorly marked, hard to find some T Boxes. Need to spend some time on course condition. Most of the trees on the course hadnt been trimmed in years. Lots of bare areas. Overall it was a bad experience.

Course was nice and very affordable. That said, it certainly wasnt the caliber of courses Ive played in Sedona, which would be triple the cost. All in all for the money, this place was a nice links style course in close proximity to where we were staying.

Decent course. This is a great place if you arent the most accurate golfer. Most fairways are nice and wide allowing forgiveness of shots.

Beautiful old school golf course. Pretty decent challenge from the back tees and Mark Whatney in the pro shop is very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great experience.

This course was very well maintained but it is also a very basic course with very flat Fairways and greens and very few bunkers or water hazards. It was a great day to golf except I got behind a foursome and they would not let me play through so I was out on the course a lot longer than I expected

Worst greens by far I have played this year. Home Depot sand bunkers were not maintained. Carts got to be in by 6pm when the sunset isn’t till 8pm. Pay your employees till dark. C’mon step it up a notch.

I was looking for a nice place to get in a late afternoon round of golf at a reasonable price and I found it there. The staff is very friendly and the course a pleasant place to play. It was very affordable and it was just what I was looking for.

Friendly staff. Course conditions are usually pretty good. The greens are kept up and are generally quite fast. Tee times are sometimes hard to get during the season.

The course was in good shape the greens ran true. The personnel were all courtesy and accommodating. The pace of play is a little sluggish and there are swarms of white flies about the course. Overall I will be returning.

I have played here many times over the past 6 months and generally find the course in pretty good shape and enjoyable. However two weeks ago I played late in the afternoon and had a cart that didnt have a good charge. The cart ultimately went completely dead on my son and I and we pushed it in from the 15th tee (we were exhausted). When I got in the attendent wasnt very appreciative and didnt have good customer service skills either (no thanks for doing that or sorry to hear that happened). I asked if he could give my name and number to the manager to call me (and he reluctantly took it). Sad thing is I never heard from anyone at the course. Obviously they didnt care enough to call me and hear what happened. I grew up playing golf here in Phoenix since the mid-70s and there are lots of places to play. Because of that attendant and no call back I wont be coming back. My advice is teach these young kids/adults customer service skills so they can converse with patrons and do the right thing.

It was a nice course but the ground was soccer dry I couldnt get a decent shot except off the tee

Horrible. The fairways were ok but the greens are the worst Ive played in years. No grass in large areas on the greens. Some sand traps are overrun with weeds. I scored a 77, so Im not reviewing things in anger. Troon should be ashamed of themselves.

A course experience totally lacking in daily upkeep. Many areas of rough were left unmowed for what appeared to be more than a week. Very limited facilities for an advertised resort. Will not return..

Friendly course, wide open. Greens can be fast and difficult to hold shots. Overall fun course, you can score well, holes are fair with little OB. Always seem to get off right on time and seldom get slowed down on the course. Just wish cart girl would come around more often esp. when its hot.
