Great basketball courts at a very reasonable rate. We loved it.

Short hours

The staff here is wonderful and truly what earns it 5 stars. Michelle is always so warm and welcoming, Dayna is phenomenal to say the least. I have three children in childcare while I exercise, and they are cared for very well. The women are moms (not teens like in some places), and ALL of them are great to my girls. Additionally, AKs classes here are limit pushing, educational, and fun. AK is an amazing trainer and its a blessing to have her teaching and pushing us here.

HARASSMENT FROM THE DIRECTORI DO NOT FEEL SAFE OR WELCOMED AT THE YMCA ANY LONGER.Scott the director as well as a few of his employees have harassed me for taking cat naps in the parking lot after a work out, before I go to my job. I usually go early in the morning with my partner who can walk to work from there and I take a cat nap before a shift at my job. Twice now Ive had someone come out to wake up and harass me about sleeping in my car even though plenty of people hang out in their cars in the parking lot. Not to mention the fact that there are NO SIGNS OR MEMBERSHIP PAPERWORK that says anything against it. the first time this happened the employee asked me if I was homeless! the second time, Scott assumed I was camping in the parking lot and told me I couldnt sleep there overnight. I explained everything to him -refer to the top- and told him there wasnt any written rule against taking a nap in the parking lot. he said that the parking lot was for members only, I told him AGAIN I am a member and that I wasnt sleeping overnight, I was taking a nap before my shift at work. he put his hand up and told me to be quiet, that the parking lot is used for people to use the facility and then leave. I explained again that there are no signs or paperwork that explains this as a rule. HE TOLD ME IT DIDNT MATTER, THOSE WERE RULES AND IM EXPECTED TO COMPLY. I was so shocked at this situation that I finally just said ok only so he would leave me alone. this was so poorly handled that my partner and I are considering changing our membership to a different gym. Ive loved the Y up until this incident and now I dont feel safe or welcomed there.

I really want to give homecourt a 5 star but I cant for just a few reasons. First, the childcare is pretty limited on the hours it is open and not open at all on weekends. The office also does not send an email or text when the childcare is closed during its regular times for random reasons like doing the basketball court floors, so I get my kids ready and drive out there to find out I cant workout because there is no childcare. I contacted them about this but no change for notification has been made and I dont want to have to call the gym every time to make sure the childcare is open. They do have a sign out a few days before to notify people but if you havent been to the gym recently you wont know. The facility is great to me because of the amazing women in the childcare! They are awesome with the kids. Most of class teachers are pretty awesome too, but if you are a newcomer dont expect to make friends quickly with other people in the class or that workout at the gym. I have been going to the Zumba class for a year now because I absolutely love the class and instructor and it is offered during childcare hours BUT people from the area must like staying in their own little groups and clicks because I havent made a single friend. I go alone-I didnt grow up here and have no family here. The gym is great if you want access to workout equipment, weights, great instructors, an income based payment, and a big property you can run around outside. But dont expect to make tons of friends. expect to have very limited access based on their childcare hours if you have kiddos. There is someone at the desk about 70% of the time when I walk through the door and they answer the phone about the same. I like that they have stairs to run up and down as well!

I like home court but my brother had cruches and accidentally tipped a trash can over and the tall bald guy decided to kick a 8 year old out!!
