So much has changed since my last visit. While it has become more of a money vacuum, the actual artifacts have been updated to the max. Graceland is what it is. If you come to learn, you will quickly discover what an icon this man was. He forever changed music. He had his issues, but he was a deeply spiritual man. He was a patriot. A philanthropist. His father put it best on his grave marker. Only paraphrasing here - Elvis needed some rest and God saw that, so He let him come home.Friendly people work here. First class experience all the way. If you are in Memphis, you need to see Graceland.

This was very pricey but the tour was nice and I think its worth visiting once. Im not a huge Elvis fan but I still found it interesting and enjoyable. We purchased the $70 tickets. For this price we were able to tour the mansion and the car museum. We were also able to see the plane but we skipped this because we were hot and exhausted. We skipped the rest of Graceland as well. It seemed to be mostly gift shops. I think there may have been another museum but we were a little tired by the end and didnt see that. It might be nice if youre a huge Elvis fan though.Someone else mentioned that they werent enforcing masks so they left. I didnt experience this. Everyone had masks on and were kept spaced apart.

This is definitely worth a days visit, but it is expensive for the full self guided tour including the airplanes, cars and Graceland. The amount of memorabilia is extensive and impressive, but I wish there were better exhibits featuring his music and movies that you could actually hear. There were videos playing, but often you could not hear them. Even if you are not a big Elvis fan, there is plenty of history to learn and the care put into this museum is evident.

In one time in your life you must visit Graceland. To experience how Elvis lived in his home. Its a time capsule to flow throughout the house. The audio will go ahead of you since its timed. But, just keep you pace and enjoy all that you see that was created back in the 60s. Turn your flash off its not allowed in the house.

Definitely worth your money! 3 hours it took us from getting there to being in the car. Wasnt crowded at all, probably due to covid. Must have a mask and get your temp taken. While inside either buy tickets, will call, or have your tickets scanned. After you watch a 7 minute movie, you are then given a ipad and earphones and get on a shuttle to go to the mansion. While at the mansion you can go at your own pace. After done you get back on the shuttle and taken back to go around to look at his cars, airplanes, outfits, etc.. Gift shops are everywhere! Several restaurants! You could spend so much time there! Parking is 10 dollars for the whole day. You can come and go all day for that price.

My second visit. The first was over 10 years ago. Three years ago they completely changed Graceland adding a large museum complex across the street. It allowed for a large room with his cars, a large room with outfits of singers that were inspired by those of Elvis, one about his times in the military, one with Elvis outfits, one about his films with lots of movie posters, one about Lisa Marie, the beautiful collection of gold and platinum records, and a section where you re-live Elvis start (they show a documentary there). In the mansion, everything was as before with an addition of an area where they talk about Elvis family and life (where before they had the gold anx platinum records. I think) and the racketball/ exercise building.

Although the interior is dated to the sixties it is very interesting to see how a wealthy person would have lived during that period. The outside is well maintained but modest compared to current mansions. The grounds are beautiful and there are lots and lots of memorabilia grouped into different venues. Super expensive, and super small for a mansion. Yes, all of Elvis stuff is gold-plated, ostentatious and a total self-decoratedman cave. So many cars, artifacts, albums and documents, you actually get worn out before seeing it all. The airplane is cool, as is the opportunity to visit the graves. The staff is good, but to get a person to perform the tour, instead of self-guided, youd have to be as rich as the King. Total fanatics only would be grateful for this opportunity...its good, though. Also, we stayed at the Guest House, the hotel, and it was very overpriced as well. But nice..and very walkable.

I would never forget this magnificent, magical place ! Walked the grounds where Elvis himself walked many times . When you first enter the mansion you see Gladys Dinner where they sell the famous Peanut butter / banana sandwich that Elvis loved so much . Then you take an elevator and stop in a room where they show a short documentary about Elvis . I couldn’t help it, my tears rolled down my cheeks as I was watching it . Then a mini bus takes us inside the Graceland Mansion! Just beautiful, the Memorial Garden w a water fountain ️ is also very special that’s where supposedly Elvis and his mom and dad and aunt rest .

This was a very interesting sight to see, but is way to expensive for what it is. The home is surprisingly small, and unimpressive. Im sure back in Elviss day it was modern, but was not very big. Even the property is pretty small. You are forced to stay along the path everywhere, your not able to walk about the grounds for a picnic or enjoy the area. All the upstairs of the home and his private indoor racketball house is off limits. For what your paying, they need to show more or at least let you walk around the grounds. Everything is fenced off!

Taking the tour of Graceland is the culmination of growing up in the era of the legendary Elvis Presley. Very impressive how Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis daughter mainly with the help of her mother Priscilla preserved Elvis residence where he lived up to his untimely death. He along with father members are buried on the property. We took the VIP tour last fall on a beautiful sunny September day, having stayed at the very nice Guest House while making our bucket list mecca trip to Memphis and Graceland. Elvis like many of us had his own idiosyncrasies. And be aware that theres a whole lot of shaking going on here! And here Elvis has officially NOT left the building.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Not what I expected. The self-guided tour was fun. Didnt remember that Elvis had a stillborn twin. The complex across the street was expansive - special topic mini museums scattered among EP merchandise gift shops, restaurants, and a theater that has several live performances each month. There are a few out buildings, but the main house is tiny by modern rock star standards. The Jungle Room is a real highlight - Everyone should have green carpet on the ceiling! They dont take you upstairs in the house. This was an interesting experience. Being a fan of music I couldnt help being intrigued By the history and life of Elvis on display. Discovering how important his family was to him, meaning his parents specifically, was definitely something you dont see in most media outlets regarding King of Rock and Roll. The tour was done youre lying iPads and headphones, it is somewhat self-guided through the mansion. The pace was pretty accurate to the amount of time you needed to enjoy the experience. It was a little surprising how old and rundown the building feels, yet its obviously been well maintained. Its an interesting experience. Just think this was considered wealthy class. The end of the tour is also somewhat sobering and somber as you exit the last part of the tour. The area surrounding Grayson is also definitely more lower class and doesnt feel very safe at all. So I wouldnt wander around the area and would go directly to the ground. The mansion is on one side of the road, however where you get tickets and all the gift shops and everything else are on the side with the planes.
