The park was awesome we rode scooters with prices displayed starting off at 1.75 when you put your card info and start your card they charge you 2.75 first off if you get off the scooter to break they eventually charge you 20 dollars and cut the ride off your card. My scooter went dead and I had to walk it to the parking place or they would charge 20 dollars again. So even though the scooter went dead and I was no longer able to ride it I had to push the scooter 3 blocks because I did not want to pay 20 dollar fee for leaving it anywhere. I was pushing a dead scooter and getting charged for it. There is no live customer service only email. They pick and choose which transaction to void. They never voided that 20 dollars it stole from me but claimed they void the transaction where I had to push the scooter......The company is OJO
Beautiful scenery. Exquisite vibe. Take a Spin pass for 15 bucks in the middle of the night with loved ones .Thank me later.
It was very clean & nice it was my husband and I first time to visit and yes we are planning to return to Memphis Park soon. We enjoy watching the children play.️️️
Beautiful but desolated and too many cars speeding. We didnt feel safe to stay to see the sunset. Maybe in the morning it is better. Many homeless on the park.
Nice little park to sit and watch the tug boats go by
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful makes you proud to be a memphian.
What an absolutely beautiful park!
Great view of the mighty Mississippi.
Its nice an peaceful
Historical walking tour was fun. The young with a newly minted degree in history gave a nice commentary for some of the highlights of Memphis history. She didnt have a lot of experiential knowledge about buildings and people not on the tour, though.
We had a wonderful time
Full of splendor, even without the statues of old. Look for Greg, the park manager
Nice environment in the big city.
Love walking in the park Downtown.
Good place to walk
It was great,! I mean the weather was perfect and I love the changes and upgrades not to mention (funny expression) visiting the exact spot where my kundalini exploded with energy of the highest...enjoy!
Nice, quite, and great view
It was a pretty day great weather it was awesome
Quaint, peaceful park off Front St. overlooking the southern tip of Mud Island and the Mississippi River. There are many benches and shaded areas to sit and relax.Youll notice a stone wall with cutouts. There used to be cannons there which were removed along with a Confederate statue and the name. I think it was Robert E. Lee.
I went here for the Memphis in May firework show with my boyfriend, and i honestly love this park. Its very clean, well lit even at night, and the people visiting are always nice! I even sawhorse carriages going through the park while the fireworks were going. The view of the bridge and river ate gorgeous too!
Great experience
Wonderful its so pretty this time of yearJust keep some change for the parking meters
Nice place to visit. Great sightseeing and friendly people.
Confederate Park was a nice place to visit. Its a shame that people want to rename it and try to erase history. We can all learn to live together in harmony and love each other and agree to disagree on some things. The park was shady and had squirrels and birds to feed and a nice view of the river.
Nice place to take a walk
Monuments are gone but still a nice area
Visited memphis as part of my quest to have my kids visit all 50 states before 18y.o. Loved this little park my kids chilled here with grandma while I rode a scooter over to beale street for a while. Popsicle stand is very reasonable. Wouldve gave 5 stars but they should really consider blocking the water at least the part by the park. Kids were throwing rocks into the water and one wrong move they couldve easily slipped in. Overall a nice spot to visit if your traveling with kids.
Great view of mud island and the Mississippi River. Plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy your lunch
Me huh you are a oh dearThis is me girl or boy ha BNB
Hate it ever since they removed the statues and redid it. They destroyed history. Dont support this tragedy.
Nice and clean good for touring
A nice place to sit and overlook the river
Nice area with workout equipment available.
I took some amazing pictures there!
My family and I enjoyed the Mississippi bridge light show this evening, that comes on every hour, on the hour. We had the perfect view from this park!
I really liked this place, it is beautiful!
What a lonely and empty place. Empty cement slabs, empty bottles strewn about. Not sure how this is family friendly or anything else described.
This is a great city park
Great area for outdoor biking & walking
Very beautiful park. At points it had excellent views of the Memphis bridge (crosses over the Mississippi into Arkansas). Horse and carriage rides were provide at this park. Beautiful large trees, lamps for when it gets dark, and snooth pathways encorporated the park. Because the park was downtown, parking was not super accessable and one had to pay for parking before later hours.
Nice view of the Mississippi River....
Very cool place to chill and plau
Super fantastic #MEM park.
Nice for evening walk!
Nice place to watch the sunset!
Beautiful view of the Mississippi River and close to a Lennys
Great views!
Great sightseeing.
Good spot for a soccer game
Had a great time
Sad the the government of Memphis changed the name and trying to erase the southern history
Great views of the Mississippi River and the Riverside Park below. It has historical signs and statues commemorating the Battle of the Mississippi River during the Civil War.
Cool place to hang
Great view of the Mississippi River and historical too. Confederate Park with statue of Jefferson Davis. The west side wall has cannon placements Im guessing back from the Civil War. A naval battle happened in the Mississippi River near here and later led to the Union control of Memphis.Great park! But parking is kind of sparse near here. Thats my only negative.
Great park and good weather
A small quiet park full of benches and historical markers. It is the north end of the seenic River Walk atop the bluff which connects it to Tom Lee and Marters parks by a pedestrian overpass at its south end. It also contains the plinth of the removed statue of Jefferson Davis.
Great time with family
Lovely park overlooking the Mississippi River, checkout Downtown Yogas free class on Tuesday evening at Sunset.
Love it at night
Amazing Artists, Arts and Music.... Lov it
Quiet spot. Great for picnics!
Pond of mississippi!
Very enjoyable park

Nice statue of Pres. Davis in Confederate Park. Great views of the river and history signs, describing battle on the river in 1862.
Nice food and beer
Great views
Nice place to take a break. Nice views of the riverfront.
Quite, peaceful great for people/ nature watching
Where I go to clear my head
GREAT PARK
Very nice place to walk.
I go there on my lunch breaks to enjoy the scenery and play pokemon go l
Confederate Park commemorates the Battle of Memphis. When Confederate forces retreated to Mississippi after the Battle of Shiloh in April 1862, unfortified Memphis became vulnerable to attack. From these bluffs and those at what is now Chickasaw Park, on June 6, 1862, thousands of civilians watched the naval battle on the Mississippi River below. Within 90 minutes, the Union fleet defeated the Confederates. Medical Cadet Charles R. Ellet and a small party entered the city and raised the U.S. flag over the post office. The Federals held Memphis for the rest of the war.The Memphis city council does it best to be PC and change the name But not the History. As it will always be Confederate Park.
Beautiful peaceful place!
Very relaxing and family oriented .
Nice place for a walk and to sit and relax.
