My favorite club on Beale Street! The customer service is excellent, and it’s the perfect next stop on your journey after your next rooftop party appearance at the Peabody.
Food was good. Music nice and easy listening.
In town for the holidays and went out with my cousins for a night on the town. Really enjoyed myself.
Good music venue with three floors...fast service with great food and drinks.
My husband took me here because they had a 90s DJ that night. We had a great time. The bar tenders were super friendly amd made awesome drinks!
New management has really done a great job re-imagining the place. Kudos to those in charge. JA
Racist club. Charges black people and limits them to the 1st and 2nd floor. Whites get in free and full access to all 3 levels.
Nice ambience and friendly people.
Not rating Club 152. They have gone out of business. No word on if they will reopen under a different name or type of venue.
We absolutely LOVED this place! Food and service was great! The live band Blue City Bandits were great! All around great atmosphere!
Good but you need wait a long time in the line
I wasnt really in the mood for old school pop music. Maybe I came on the wrong night. The staff was really nice though.
Not a great club but probably still better than most in the area if you want to dance. Can be lots of fun if you go on the right night with good friends. Good music selection. On a good night the third floor is where the dancing and crowd will be. Can be quite a wait at the bar on those nights. Their F Me Up drink will do just that (depending on the bartender, it can be overly sweet at times). First floor is more chill and has live music.
Really enjoyed myself along with the hubby. Music great with Sean Apple and bartender Renae was on point with the drinks!!!!!! I so love this place
Great atmosphere! Fun and spacious. DJ Ron plays a good variety of music and takes requests. The bartenders are on point!
Great place. Love the atmosphere. Band and DJ Ron were amazing. Didnt get my servers name but know his face. Paid my tab with a card and tipped in his jar. He came running out to me saying I could have tipped something in the rudest possible way assuming that since I didnt tip on my card I didnt tip at all. Would give 5 stars but leaving a club like that ruined my night and brought it down to 4 stars.
Was super cool back in the day. It is still fun if you go with a group of friends. Still beats all the other clubs
Blast!
The greatest D.J. on Beale! Great music too!
I liked 152 but the last 2 times I we the door people were racist as hell. Both times I we with the same person my friend Michael who is white. Im black myself and both times I went to get wristbands each time I was told i had to be invited. So we left came back 20 minutes later but he asked and was instantly given a wristband, even though he hadnt been invited. Still told me no so we both left. Bull smh.
Had a great time Dj there was great he know how to get the crowd hype I will go back again the second floor is where you want to be
0 stars if that was possible. Closed on Tuesday despite their open hours. Go somewhere else.
Great music but the beer tastes like dirty feet.
EXTREMELY racist club. The black people are designated to ONLY go through an entrance that takes them to the first floor. The white people are directed to the entrance that gives them access to the third floor. This is the VIP floor. And apparently is invite only, unless you put your white voice on or youre with some white people. My friends and I asked the bouncer (who is black himself) about what we observed which was them directing the white people to the VIP line if they were in the public line. And the black people being directed to the public line if they started in the VIP line. Coincidentally, the public line leads to a separate club called The Shadow. Hmm . He says he gives the wristbands to whoever he wants to. So my friend asks him, Well it seems that only a certain demographic are allowed into the line with VIP, and only a certain demographic are told to go through the public entrance. The bouncer says, Correct.I am Biology major with a dual minor in Spanish and Sociology. An educated black woman to say the least, who has held title after title at both Clark Atlanta University (Vice President of my freshman class) and the University of Memphis including BSA, ResLife, TRiO Student Success Program, and Miss Black and Gold for the state of Tennessee. Places like these are not only an insult to my intellect, but my HUMANITY.Black people. DO NOT GO HERE. Modern day segregation.
Great atmosphere and they have really good music. I mean its a club, so what do you expect?
Around 10:30 PM you can stant infront of the club and see how they will give free entrance to Caucasians only. They will literally chase whites down the road. Blacks are ignore or complicated
The Shadows is always popping when Dj Ron is on the Stage.
Thats a great place but bartender Olivia was so rude and racist. They have good music though.
Club 152 Is No Longer A Hip Hop Club
The setting was good. The band was really good.
Great atmosphere and the music selection keeps me jamming
Came all the way from the CHI...and definitely enjoyed ourselves. 1st floor was popping with live music 2nd floor was juking!!! never even made it to the 3rd floor!!! Cant wait to come back!!!
Its was live. Really enjoyed myself
I Used to come here all the time!! Its the gold standard on beale
Been going for for 4 straight years is my spot! Dj D Nice!!!
Ahhh Club 152 an example of how clueless Memphis is in general when it comes down to the night life!_________________________________________________Club 152 is split into three separate tight spaced floors which in of itself is one of the major problems with this club. Despite making it on the top 25 clubs for pulling revenue it definitely doesnt make that list due to quality as much as its because theres not too many real options in this city and they are strategically located on the infamous Beale St.________________________________________________The first floor is a typical bar where theres live music and not bad. The second floor is reserved for the crunk crowd and mainly draws in black people and not the kind you want to be around unless you are ghetto (I prefer mixed crowds).____________________________________________________________The third floor is more my speed (top 100, dance, and other). Its the nicest looking floor out of the three and draws the more mixed crowd (not much of one given the limited space)! The PROBLEM with the third floor is that theyve decided that itll be some kind of exclusive floor where you have to be in the know! Without actually being in GOOD with someone inside this access seems to have an order of precedence thats rather painful for something thats not even close to be worthy of being exclusive or paying a ridiculous $30 me._______________________________________________________________Lastly what kills this club is the building itself. Its just too tight and getting to the different floors via ONE set of stairs is painful (especially when everyone floods inside after Beale St. closes) theres a slow moving elevator that barely helps. IF you can get through the pain of gaining access to the 3rd floor you MAY have at least a decent time. Avoid the 2nd floor if you have any class IMHO!
Need a real DJ And Friendlier Bartenders
Rude staff. One guy came over to tell my friend to button his shirt or get the f*** out and I said lets go before some stuff goes down and they took that as a threat and I got jumped on.
This is the place where the doorman steps out in the street to try and fight people out of the line. Also doesnt let groups of girls in. if you want to sausage fest with 21 year olds this is your spot
I freestyle rap there when there is karaoke and I presented that I am a star.
The club was lit.....I will return next year.
Lots of seating. Great music.
Crowded even during the week. Great time though.
Been there done that old news but new to some...
Best club in Memphis
Very picky for pretty bad club
Best place ever !!!!!!
Fun place to be
Memphis nightlife to its fullest
Great place to socialize
Showed up, got felt up by a security guard, got to the bar and our group were the only people in the whole place.
Best club In Memphis 2 live
I did not like my friend and I were treated. The manager, Dustin, was rude and lied to us and said that we couldnt just sit at the bar unless we bought 1 drink. While still there we watched as other people of his same color sat at the bar and didnt buy a drink. So disappointed.
Rachet
Nice club
If your wife insist that you go here, divorce her.
