Always a grown folk atmosphere. Ive been coming here at least 5 years and there has never be violence or anything related to violence, which is what we look for for safety. I highly recommend

Not the place to come if out and about and dining alone. I waited and waited for a table then when Finally seated by bar area, waited and waited for waitress and then again for food. Then they tacked on a 15%or 20%gratuity charge onto my bill, for whatttttttIm not sure. Food was good but a little overly seasoned (salty) My cocktail was decent

Had a small birthday dinner there and the service by Jerrica was amazing. She never got an item incorrect or missed a beat with timely delivery of all the food. The atmosphere was amazing and we felt safe with temperatures taken, gloves and mask were used as well. Would definitely choose to do it again.

First of all, I hate to do this to a BOB but something needs to change at this place. My friend traveled from out of town just to visit this particular restaurant, even though I warned him of the poor service. However, I couldn’t change his mind. This restaurant is advertised as a fine dining restaurant, so far from it. We were told 40 minute wait time, fine. After an hour we couldn’t be guaranteed a table even though we had been on the list. Finally the hostess gives us a couch with a dirty table. 25 minutes in no server! Finally a server arrives to take the orders she comes back to ask if it’s anything else we want from the menu because our items are unavailable. We choose whatever is available and waited another hour for the food to come in pieces. My friend was practically finished with his meal before I received my appetizer. I could go on and on about the awful experience but I don’t have the time. This is my 3rd visit since the place has been open and I’m over it. If I’m paying $75-$100 for a meal I don’t expect to eat and drink in plastic ware. I’m not a picky person and I love to support my own, especially now days. The only good thing about my experience was the drink was actually worth the $14 nothing else.

My second time visiting and I was really disappointed because I spoke highly of this place from my first visit. We arrived at 6:30 and was told it would be a 45 minute wait, which was totally fine. So, 45 minutes passed and still not a phone call or nothing. I then, go in and asked for an update. This lady done told me it would be another HOUR!!!! Like if that was the case, why didn’t you call and inform me. Other guest that had arrived after me was going in being seated. And they can’t say they doing reservations because I sent someone days ago to go make reservations just so I could have a spot but due to Covid no reservations could be made! Which is understandable. They said first come, first serve. I guess they thought my money wasn’t good enough or I had to pay an extra tip to get in. The food is good there but he needs to clean house POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!

The shrimp and grits were fantastic! The shrimp were huge and seasoned perfectly. Thought it was more on the restaurant style but it turned out to be more of a club atmosphere. Maybe it was just the night we went. Not a lot of tables.

One thing I love about the alcohol beverages they had just enough ice, they were not packed with ice, the waitress made sure we were comfortable I will be going back most definitely.We ordered shrimp and grits, Blackened Tilapia, and had Blac Apple Henn to drink.

I went here on June 24, 2020 for my birthday and when I say everything was exceptionally perfect!! The atmosphere was great, the vibe was on point, the Dj kept the house rocking, and the food was out of this world good!! It’s a must that I come back. And I can’t forget the drinks! The drinks were top notch the best and reasonable!

I traveled from out of town on my brothers bday with my family. My brother was adamant about checking out the spot, especially since its a BOB. Went on a Friday night as soon as we dropped our belongings at our hotel, and it was pretty much packed. Quick note: you cannot make reservations; seating is first come first served. We were ok with all of this because we called prior to the trip, so we expected there to be a wait. Upon arrival, the wait was 45 minutes. After waiting 5 minutes, we were seated.We frequent restaurants often as foodies (lbvs) and love fine dining experiences. We love to support BOBs and appreciated the fact that we didnt wait long for a table. With that said, we did not experience a fine dining atmosphere. Upon arrival, the men were pat down and the ladies had their purses checked. Huh? We get inside, and the music is BLASTING. Huh? Talking to the hostess was a task because we couldnt hear each other. She had to keep pulling her mask down to scream over the music. Not good in the midst of a pandemic in a packed spot with no social distancing being practiced. But, we proceeded anyway. We obviously were taking a walk on the wild side. After being seated, I was immediately unhappy due to the loud music and TWERKING. Why are we allowing guests to dance in the dining area of a fine dining establishment while people are waiting to be seated? Several people at several tables were up dancing and enjoying the music. Did I miss the memo about it being a bar/lounge/club? Had I known this would be the atmosphere, I would have changed into the proper attire. Its no wonder why the wait is so long. People eat, drink, get up and dance, sit down, order more, etc. Our waitress took forever to even greet us. She told us to give her a minute while she tended to a different table and she never returned. The hostess saw we didnt have drinks (water) after like 25 minutes so she took our orders, and even served us. The food was just OK. The check already had 15-20% gratuity included. We left with headaches. Although Im not from here and dont know the target audience, I honestly wouldnt recommend this place what so ever. Well, perhaps if the place was properly labeled as a bar & grill or lounge.

The food was excellent. We had Shrimp and Grits and Steak and potatoes. The Shrimp meal was seasoned perfectly and the Steak was tender and juicy. There was no need for any added sauce. The atmosphere was very live and upbeat. The DJ did not play any Rap or Hip Hop. It was all old school jams. There were several birthdays going on at the time and it did not cause any delays in our food. Will go back again.

We there for a 50th Birthday celebration. There were about 50 of us in the party. We called days prior too and were allowed to setup on the patio. It was nice. Just a little sticky in the air. And traffic was .. umm live. Overall we enjoyed our event, the food was great. I took lots of pics so you can see the layout and some of the dishes.

Wait time was an hour and a half, an hour after opening... waitress took way too long to come take our order, food was too salty, waitress never came back to collect our payment, and dj came an hour before closing...... probably wont be going back

Came From Alabama and we had A Blast

First time going and I must say I was pleased with the atmosphere. (Although, me and my husband were only doing a pick up.) The hostess and security guard were both welcoming. Security guard took both of our temperatures. Then politely directed us to the bar to pick up our order. Cashier greeted us then went on to get our order. Check out was quick... Food was delicious we had the wings x fettuccini shrimp alfredo x burger. We will most definitely be visiting them again in the future.

The food is so good I cant even find words to express how good the food. The Prive experience is wonderful and the decor is beautiful. The owner is an excellent host and a magnificent chef.

Food and drinks took a while to be served, but both were good. This was my first time and it was a nice atmosphere and good music.

OMG OMG, when you ask for salt and pepper and dont need it. When you think you at home eating grandmas food Looord this place tops all that and some. We were here from Indy and heard about it from her sons documentary and thought we would check it out, came on a Saturday and returned on Sunday.

Great music, food was good, staff was friendly. One of my friends had said they were charged more than what their bill had been after the payment went through but I didnt have any issues. I also chose to leave a tip so she may have been charged gratuity since she decided not to leave one.

This is a new add to Foodie spots I will revisit! Food was really delicious, the. Grilled shrimp was seasoned really well and salad was fresh! I really enjoyed my meal! The staff was friendly and good. Really laid back adult atmosphere.

I always enjoy myself each time I go. Especially that fact that security is there actually checking people for weapons. It makes me feel very safe and secure. The food is SUPER YUMMY and not expensive. The music is great as well.

La Rhonda gave us AWESOME service, greeted us immediately with ice water, fried rolls and cinnamon butter. Took our orders, answered our questions and got our food promptly to us. It was freshly cooked, still steaming, most of all delicious and flavorful. We were very satisfied and shall return.

I went to Prive for my birthday celebration. It was my first time going. A blast is an understatement! The service was excellent, our waitress checked on us all night, the food was superb, the DJ was entertaining and OMG the live band was AWESOME! My party and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will be going back very soon! If you want have good, clean fun, Prive is the place to go!

Celebrating birthdays at Prive with dinner and dancing was a great choice. Probably should have gone a little earlier for dinner because the wait was rather lengthy. We arrived about 8 was seated about 8:45 and dinner was served about 9:40. Was it worth the wait? YES. Best steak weve had in a long time. Would I go back? Yes, just much earlier for dinner.

Prive was on point! Grilled Salmon throughly cooked and seasoned well. The other people in our party loved the fried catfish, turkey necks. The sweet potatoes tasted like Thanksgiving! The special butter for the cornbread and fried rolls was delicious. Soul Food Sunday!

The service was awful! Our waitress was slow, it took so long to order a drink, I ended up going to the bar to get one. Then we were charged for an order we never received and when we said we no longer wanted it and to take it off, the waitress went to the back and brought it out in a to go box. The manager refused to take it off the ticket, but instead gave a measly $2.50 discount. I enjoyed the DJ, the atmosphere is nice, but it is not kid friendly and there were children there. It should be a cutoff time for minors if the establishment is going to allow them there or the music should be appropriate for them. I will not be going back if I can help it.

Ok if were just rating the food it would be 5 stars for sure!! So lets break this down!The good:The restaurant is clean. Nice decor. Very nice atmosphere.The food was excellent!! My whole family loved each individual meal! Somebodys grandmother must be cooking in the kitchen!!! Everything was seasoned to perfection!The wait wasnt bad at all. We were sat in a timely manner. Even the food came out promptly.The bad:THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! No greetings! No introductions! No personalities! Nobody seemed like they were in a pleasant mood! From the hostess down to our server!! When you server walks up and just dryly says may I take your order that sets the tone at the table!! She never came back to see off our meal was good. Or if anything was missing! Or even for refills! One lady walking around( Im guessing the manager) smiled and asked how we were and if we needed anything! So all in all Id give it 3 and a half stars. But since i cant Im going to round down to 3 stars!!

Called to make reservations about 2:00pm today me and my husband is traveling from Illinois for valentines day.. staff answered the phone and said hello as if they was talking on they personal cell phone.. I politely made sure I called the right number and ask about making an reservation they was rude and put me on hold then told me to call back in 1 hour to see if another staff can make a reservation for me and hung up.. I was interested in trying out the menu and experience but the first impression over phone was enough to say NO Way!!

Everything was great except the service. Our server acted like she wanted to be elsewhere and it showed all over her face. Food was good and didnt take too long. DJ was great, kept everyone having a great time. Even the security guards were friendly.

I came all the way from Alabama to eat here but wasnt able to. Very crowded on Saturday and No dine in on Sunday! I m sick of COVID19. But ill be back!!!

Long wait time before waitress came to ask our party for water, drink order after being seated(25 minutes). We stopped someone passing and she stated I can be your waitress. It took 35 minutes to prepare and deliver the food to the us. Food was delicious but the delivery time could use improvement. Clean restrooms, nice atmosphere.

Very very nice time. First timer tonight. Thursday is karoke night. Place is clean and quite nice on the inside. DJ was great!!! Food was wonderful. I had some of the best fried shirmp. Battered just right & they were juicy & not overcooked. I will return. I had a really good time .

This is a busy spot. I would not come here for dinner. The food was extremely good but it is just way too much going on. I would come here to hang out on the bar side but not like casual dinner. This is more of a social spot.
