DJ funn is possibly one of the best DJs in Memphis, his website was easy to navigate, he will meet with you and customize any event to your specific desires. True professional.

My family had an awesome time recently at a reception that was DJd by DJ Funn. My wife especially liked it because she didnt have to drag me onto the dance floor..... I went willingly (most of the time). Everything just flowed well. Kudos DJ Funn!

When you hire a DJ for your wedding or event, you are paying for a professional, otherwise you could just turn on a playlist. You expect them to be able to MC, read the room, adjust volume, make appropriate song selections, etc. I had musicians for the cocktail hour and dinner of my reception so I negotiated a lower rate of $500 after reading positive reviews of DJ Funn. I later found out that DJ Funn represents numerous DJs and I was assigned to DJ Razz. She was a very poor announcer or MC, had a weird and old vibe, and couldnt make necessary adjustments. She announced a bridal party dance that I did not put on my form and did not have a good taste for music or volume. My guests were waiting and taking pics on the dance floor hoping for better songs and she just kept disappointing. The response from corporate DJ Funn was awful. I would highly recommend choosing another DJ service and if you do proceed with DJ Funn, make sure you are going under contract with the specific DJ you know you want and do not try to negotiate rates (this was later used as an excuse). Absolutely avoid DJ Razz at all costs. To add insult to injury, this is a picture of her stealing things from my reception. It was after I had left and was reported later so I pulled the security footage. More than anything, I wanted a refund and still am just out the money for extremely poor, unprofessional service.Apparently they can withhold negative reviews from WeddingWire. Please make sure you have a signed contract by both parties and you keep a copy and absolutely refuse to pay in cash. This will be helpful in recourse for you but ultimately, AVOID.

My fiance and I had the pleasure of working with Funn Entertainment to book our wedding ceremony audio and reception entertainment for our summer wedding. We are planning our Memphis wedding from long distance as we live in Houston, Texas. I had been growing a bit concerned about our DJ services because we had attempted to book two other DJs but received very slow callbacks and had trouble getting quotes and answers to questions. This made me especially nervous because we are planning from long distance. Our ceremony is planned to be out outdoors, so our event will require two setups. My fiance does audio as a hobby, so it is really important to him that we have a good quality sound person. Also, I LOVE karaoke, and we are having it during the last part of the reception, so it is really important to me that we have someone with karaoke capabilities and multiple microphones. We have found that Funn Entertainment is a rare company in Memphis that has lots of experience with outdoor events, karaoke, and also corporate events. They are EXTREMELY professional with staff members who are available during normal business hours and often BEYOND normal business hours. They have been lightening fast with responses and we were able to meet with DJ Funn a few days before Christmas. This was important because we were only in Memphis for a few days, and we will not be back before the wedding. We were so impressed with their flexibility and organization. You can tell this is a full-time operation, and it really makes a difference. One of the best parts is that after you book with a deposit you get access to a personalized dashboard where you can build the event timeline, make requests for colors and dress code, request specific songs, and receive song recommendations from their Most Requested playlists and their playlists that are divided by decade and event (e.g., ceremony processional, ceremony recessional, first dance). Best of all, DJ Funn has an amazingly positive attitude. He patiently answered all of my fiances technical questions and responded enthusiastically to my passion for karaoke. I cannot wait for him to be at our wedding! I will write another review after the big day, but so far, so good! Oh, also when I told my day-of coordinator we were thinking of going with DJ Funn, she was thrilled and said, He is SO much fun to work with!
