Nice, peaceful nighttime stroll. Very refreshing in the cool October air. Another couple was walking their dog. There were some young adults hanging out with their cars on the Holly side of the park. Nice break from being in the office all day.

The weather was perfect for going to the park. We had a lot of fun. My daughter played in the water park, and had a blast! Theres lots of different features in the water park and in the playground, theres something for everyone! The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because one of the little girls there was being a bully, and saying very rude things to my daughter, so that hindered our experience a little bit. Other than that though, we had an awesome time!

Clean, varied, no crowd. Kids liked it is all I know for sure.

This is a great park! It has soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a play structure and more. It has public restrooms and a good amount of parking.

It is a beautiful park with a splash pad for the hot summer days. Theres a play area for big kids and the little ones too. My toddler had a blast and we cant wait to come back. Seems like a safe, family friendly park for everyone. Plenty of parking and bathrooms near by.

The trickiest thing is that many people call this Stewart park because it is in Stewart. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a park, splash pad, playground, sand volleyball court, tennis court, lots of soccer players, outdoor basketball court. Most Saturdays there are multiple birthday parties going on when the weather cooperates. Do be aware much of the streets around the park have bike lanes and if you park in them you could get a parking ticket. The trick is to find a spot in the neighborhood and walk through the little bike paths on the west side of the park.

A popular spot known for epic volleyball, tensed b-ball and late-nite tennis...with many wide open areas, beautiful grass and plenty of flat space it could be the perfect locale for any activity. My only suggestion would be they make the paved trail completely encircle the park.

Waterpark is very nice kids really like it cute playground but for some reason there are always a lot of people who have dogs with them and I dont really like that personally

Love this park. Great paved trail all the way around it. Nice splash pad and jungle gym. The grass is always green and well maintained. My favorite event is the Medford cruise held at the park.

This is a really good place to hang out on the grass layout or swing that tennis racket. Im currently learning on the courts there. Overall it felt like an easy going feel, which makes it easy to relax. Basketball and a double volley net is all close together but not too close.

Great neighborhood spot. Named after local police officer (John Mainwaring) who died on the river while mentoring kids 40+ years ago.Loved seeing so many out enjoying each others company.

Large open areas to walk or sit or run around, a nice playground for the kids, and even a small water play area. Several parking areas and benches under several trees. Very relaxing.

Excellent park. Good volleyball courts and ok basketball courts. One drawback is the crowd that typically occupies the area. Smoking, vaping etc... Nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air anyway

One of the better parks in the area for just relaxing while the kids play or walking the path. Always clean, tho I never go in the bathrooms.

This is a cute little neighborhood park. There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms here but you have to be aware that at dusk, the bathrooms will automatically lock so plan accordingly. There are picnic tables here too. There are plenty of trash cans. There is a nice playground for the kids but all in all, it is a very small park. We like it because it is quiet and shady.

Park in the parking lot across from the school. There were 4 parked cars in the other lot that had scetchy written all over the whole thing. As a mother, who is pregnant, with a toddler I didnt feel safe. Other then that its a fun clean park thats pet friendly.

So lets face it we have limited decent parks in Medford Oregon. this is a good one. they have volleyball courts in the sand. basketball courts. A playground for younger kids. Large open field for whatever and in the summer a water park

Great park, could use a little more clean up and less campers

This review is for the playground, I did not spend time in other areas.Really nice, large playground with structures for both younger and older children. There were a couple of funky people hanging out but they were in the green area, not bothering anyone or near playground. Parking was easy.The playground was clean, looked safe with woodchips and rubber padding, and had a lot of non-climbing options. There is also a small water/splash pad that looked fun.

Fichtner park is one of the best parks Ive been to. With an open field that can house two full soccer games, 6 tennis courts, 2 basket ball courts, a playground for the kiddos, and a quiet walking path that stretches across the park. It is beautiful and welcoming to all.

We had a family reunions there and it was so wonderful with all the trees and the bathroom post by. The children had a great time in the water park and in the regular Park. Your courteous and we put it back just says we saw it for the first time. Thank you

Theres a lot to do here, volleyball, Toy structures and splash zone in the summer which is slightly gated.

I am from Arizona, so really enjoyed the greenery. The playground had a good variety of swings, etc. Lots of parking. Nice size walkway for exercise or just a good stroll. I know you cant control this, but the weather and the people were amazing. #1 for me though was that the benches were in the shade! Yay!

Bathrooms are not well kept. I know its hard with homelessness and community drug issues but kids use the bathrooms also. Other than that we enjoy the use of rest of facilities.

Its got a nice open space for activities, a small, yet well-equipped playground, and plenty of shade. Parking lot a bit tight, and the lines are faded, but it is functional

Love this park. Walking pathway for evening or morning strolls. For your athletic activities basketball coursts,tennis courts, beach style volleyball pits and soccer fields are provided. And for the kids a water park and newly remodeled playground!

This park has been around since i was a young child. It has a fun and friendly atmosphere where you always see and make friends. There are multiple activities to choose from. I will always love this park. Five stars forever

Amazing park

We walk our dogs in the park and pick up after them. We also see other people there walking their dogs too. I am concerned with the smell of weed killer that was very strong near the parking lot on the school side. I would appreciate it being posted when there is spraying done. It has been confirmed that weed killer causes cancer. There are children and pets that frequent the park and we need to protect them. The park does not seem to be maintained as well as it used to be when the grounds keeper was there most of the time. I think his name was Dennis. I think he retired. The park now has so many transient type people there I dont feel safe walking the dogs by myself anymore. We own our home and pay taxes in the city of Medford and would appreciate it being taken better care of. Thanks!

Something for everyone here!!! Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Kids Play Area, Water Features, A Book Under a Tree, you can do just about anything at this beautiful park. Plus its central location makes it easy to access.

Dogs love it here most mornings rain or shine getting more popular since water park was put in lots of sports played here

Great for running and family fun. Lot of homeless and drug activity in the parking lots. Its a wonder the police or nearby residents dont do more?

Its got A LOT of fields, courts, and activities to do here! I go for sand volleyball There is a HUGE grass field (soccer, dogs), basketball, tennis, playground, and waterspouts for anyone to cool off in too!

Unfortunately the people are very nosy and will walk right up to be nosy or make feel uncomfortable. Bathrooms are dirty as heck. Grass is always sopping wet nowhere to sit and be free to be yourself as sit and watch is in effect. Watching from cars in parking lot and calling in makeup stories is not helping anyone in this community. The park is beautiful and alot of potential with good people as well just a little judgmental with expectations from the public but will not hold accountability for there own. Surveillance park now. No freedoms to sit and breath

Dogs on leashes permitted. Plenty of parking surrounding park on Holly and Holmes Streets. Handicapped parking included close to entrances, too. Many picnic tables under trees that provide shade in summer. Playgrounds with play structures for ages 1-16! Lots of grassy areas with lovely asphalt walkways. Multi-use park for all ages to enjoy. Bathrooms available within short walks from different locations in park.

It was a great family park. To bad nothing is done about RVs and Vans living in the parking lot. I sure hope the city doesnt let it turn into another Hawthorne park.

Beautiful park with a water park, volleyball, plenty of shaded area, not many Transit people, and it is well maintained. The only issue we had was one of the female bathroom toilets was clogged and the other one may of had some one smoking dope.

Its a good place to get away from it all

Very big open park with tons of parking. Many different play apparatus to play on for different age levels of children. Plus there is a water park area within the park for summer use.Public restrooms were clean and easily accessible. Plenty of benches for the parents or caregivers to sit and watch the kids play. Plus picnic tables as well. Nice neighborhood too.

Very large park thats easy to miss on the edge of W Medford. Beautiful grounds, terrific trees, lots of space and walkways to meander through the park. The view is fantastic, and Im pretty sure they have a large kids playground within it

This park has a nice enclosed water park which helps with busy kids. The playground has lots of fun toys and there is lots of shaded areas for families to hang out in as well. The bathrooms are fairly close to everything and there is a HUGE grassy area to run in. Very nice park for family day!!
