Medford Township loves its youth, and invest in recreation. While its been 29 years since Ive used my skateboard, I can tell you our skate park is choice. For a locally funded, eat coast place. It also has wonderful play ground that my kids enjoyed for many years, that was recently refreshed. There is also a popular dog run, volley ball courts and basketball. Move here, its a great town.

Such an amazing dog park! Its not fenced, so keep that in mind when taking your dog. A lot of huge fields and some training areas, we love it.

Went with a group of moms and all our kids (about 25 kids). Spacious park in every way. Enormous field nicely mowed for frisbee, football or t-ball, large playground for kids (big and little), picnic tables in a shelter, gaga pit, dog park, basketball courts, large parking lot, paved circle around the playground for strollers or little ones bikes. Not too crowded, yet obviously frequented by some regulars and well loved by all.

Got a dog that likes to run? Freedom Park Dog Run is the place to go. With a number of very large fields to take Fiddo, your dog will be very tired by the time your done.

This park is pretty huge. there are two main parking lots that you can go into so if the first is full you can go forward. there is a big picnic area that can accommodate large groups with a playground near by for the kids, and there are a ton of open fields in the back for soccer and other games. in the back there is a huge dog park in the back. it has multiple sections all fenced in, with some places for agility and other compositions and challenges to play with. there is also a massive area in the back so expect to have a muddy puppy if you let them loose on it. great place to go all in all if you can.

Adults work out on the playground area. The equipment needs some maintenance. The flags at the memorial are out of order. It should go from left to right: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coats Guard.

Beautiful spot for dogs. There are places for the doggos to swim, some agility equipment and it’s a big park. Great to tire out the pups and if you have kids, it will give them a good work out as well!

Dog section is amazing . Your dogs will have a blast running off leash, meeting new doggie friends and even taking a swim. ..please if you will allow your dog in the water, remember to bring some towels !!

First time there! Brought my 110 lb yellow lab, Duke!!! Absolutely beautiful!!

Only problem is bathroom is not open. There is a spot a pot, which is usually somewhat clean. But bathroom with running water would be better.

Dog park is massive and off leash! Recently they added a fenced in segment with new training obstacles.

This place is the best. Hours of entertainment for the dogs and owners. Bring an old towel to dry your dog off after they go swimming in the creek, before they get back in the car.

Ive been going here with my dogs for a number of years. Love how vast and open it is along with a few obstacles for the dogs to play on. If you have kids its a great place for them to play as well since the playground has been revamped. Even volleyball courts are next door

Pretty good park. I have to say. Every Tuesday and Thursday I go here for my social distancing karate class. Unless it is raining, we will do an online class

Clean but crowded on a nice day

I really enjoyed this park and my dog did, too! There are a number of LARGE, open grassy spaces, a few pieces of agility equipment, and a number of trails. Be prepared for mud, though, and, at least when we were there, most of the water was fairly stagnant and dirty.

Puppy had a blast running around, exploring, off leash. Playing on agility course and making new friends. And of course, finding mud.

I liked this park. Was here for the 4th of July fireworks. It was an awesome experience. 30 mins of cool fireworks. This park has a nice play ground you can roam around or play.

I love this place. My daughter is 15 months and is a little uncoordinated for everything but there is plenty for her to do. I have been bringing her to this park since she was very tiny to push her on the swings

Until yesterday, this was one of our favorite places to go. Yesterday, we explored further and saw a trail, Rexs trail and headed over. There is an area there, with no warning signs, that is open to the road and my dog was hit by a car. We are DEVASTATED and baffled as to why, with so much signage in the rest of the park, why there would be no warning that there was a big gap in fencing. Please, if you read this, do not go on Rexs trail. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED!!!

The best dog park for those who have dogs or simply love them. Spacious areas, streams and trails.

Love this park for tiring out my dog. However, if your dog doesn’t come back easily, it might not be the place as the dogs runs aren’t fenced. They are bordered by trees and bushes. There is agility equipment, plenty of space, some trails, and places for dogs to swim.

Very nice park in medford. They have a great playground for kids. A couple of nice pavilions for picnics. Basketball and volleyball courts as well as a nice dog park.The best part is the very nicely done war memorials. They are a great honor to those that served our country.

Had a lovely day of free dog play. If you have a dog thats good off leash & good socially with other dogs this is a good park for you. There is large fields. A shady path. Also a stream to splash in. I would have liked some more agility toys for my girl to play on but thats just because thats something she enjoys. Otherwise a wonderful day in thr park.

So many upgrades to the childrens playground since my last visit. Its now fenced in and has just about every slide, ladder, rock wall and tunnel a kid could play on! This is a beautiful and unique park, with an unbelievable dog park. The dog area has rivers and wooden bridges you could easily spend hours just exploring with your dog!In the summer months there are movies in the park, fireworks and other special events throughout the year.

Always a good time for the pooch but watch put for the creeks. Digs like to drink the water and its stagnant water so be careful of pathogens or bacteria. Make sure youre up on all your vaccines.

Me and my father bring our Brandy up every other day!! We love this place, and so does Brandy. Freedom Park is definitely a place everyone with a a active and playful pup should visit!!!

It’s a nice park they have an area for the kids. They have a trail and park for the dogs. Wish sinage was idiot proof to get around. Behind the gate in the dog plays area they roam free. Make sure your dogs are good to socialize with other dogs prior to bringing them.

A well maintained public park with a canine field for your four-legged family members to frolic unhindered. This park also has a disc golf course, volleyball courts, soccer fields, a skateboardig area and a big playground for the kids. There are also military monuments to visit.

Huge off leash dog park with lots of fields, trails, and creeks to explore. My dog loves swimming in the creek and fetching everybody elses balls. The park is well maintained and has garbage bins and poop bags scattered throughout. There are lots of muddy spots usually, so I prepare to come home with a dirty dog.If you have a dog that does not play nice with others, please do not bring your dog here.

I was excited to visit this park based on the reviews read. I must say Ive been to better ones. The kids playground, basketball courts and running/walking pathe are great, however I must say I was expecting bigger. There isnt a closed dog area as i expected. If you need to get out of the house with the little one(s) and your dog, this will do it.

This park is a great place for you & your dogs. You will all get great exercise. They have a place for the fur babies to swim. Make sure to pack a bag with water & maybe some treats...

Been going here since I was a child. Its a great place to just hang out for a day and still have some fun. Plenty of room and places for the adults in the nearby dog park, skateboard rink, and the volleyball pit.The dog park... its so big. He didnt have to do it to em, but he did.

Lots of awesome wide open space to run and equal amounts of wooded area. My pup loves the small river too.

While it is very open, has a lot of benches, a play ground, a volleyball net. I expected there to be more trails to hike with my dog. They have wide open grassy knolls which is cool and at the same time for having such a high rating via word of mouth I was a bit disappointed. It is a great park if you enjoy all the other amenities however Id youre looking for a place to hike this is not it.

Clean, large area great dog park

I love this park as it offers tons of space for my pup and her friends to roam! It has some agility equipment which I love using with my clients! I do wish it was 100% fenced in, as that is a small risk, but other than that, I love it!

Great place to take your dogs if you have a couple hours. If they jump into the water, you will probably have to wash them. There’s good amount of water for your dogs to swim in after a nice rain storm.

Theres plenty of space to walk around here as well as some nice Pavilions to have a picnic under. Theres also a few play sets for kids. I enjoyed how large the property is in the nice paved Pathways to walk on down in it its really accessible to those in a wheelchair which made it a great choice for me is I had a friend in a wheelchair with me.
