I’m sure there’s a lot of good things with this place but living directly behind it has been very stressful. The music and singing is EXTREMELY loud. The thumping from the music gives me a migraine every time! Like today, the music and singing is drowning out my radio/tv. My baby can’t nap when all that is going on. 3rd shift people can’t sleep. If the volume was more controlled and the hours were regulated better, it wouldn’t be so bad. Please be more considerate to the homes around you.

My daughter loves the Mauldin Cultural Center! Shes spent many hours there! Most of them have been in the art rooms. The art teachers (mother and daughter) are phenomenal! Cant say enough good things about them! We used to go the MCC for her to take ballroom lessons-- but that room has recently been beautifully transformed into a wonderful theater! Weve been enjoying that as well. The play, Frozen, was our favorite... cast entirely with talened young people and children. Absolutely fantastic!!!

Such a nice place to hang out and walk around. Heck go to one of the many restaurants nearby grab yourself some food and have yourself a picnic. Also if you love to play Pokemon go as much as I do its a great place for that too.

I am glad to see this building still standing. I went to elementary here in early 90s and my grandmother went to high school here way before that lol missing few buildings but still looks good. Thanks for keeping memories alive.

My family had our biannual Family Reunion Mix-n-Mingle & Banquet in the C&S Wholesale Auditorium this past weekend (July 21st & 22nd) which was an EPIC FAIL. First off, the air conditioning was BROKEN which made for a very HOT and HUMID two days of events (imagine JULY in SC). The air conditioning in the hallways and rest of the facility worked fine. By Saturday evening with the caterers set up, tables and chairs set up it, was about 80-85 degrees in the room which made our Banquet experience very lackluster, to say the least. Although the C&S Auditorium is spacious, the drapes, paint, flooring, walls, etc are DATED which gave the feeling of an old high school cafeteria/auditorium. The huge windows were nice, but all the natural light was blocked by avocado colored drapes from the 70s. Not sure if MCC made it crystal clear during booking that they were expecting RENOVATIONS what would have such a huge impact on our event. The parking lot was also under CONSTRUCTION which caused dirt, sand and dust from the concrete to be everywhere. I thought this place had so much potential from the pics on Google which were misleading to say the least. Hopefully after RENOVATIONS the C&S Wholesale Auditorium will be improved to offer a better experience for an event.
