Got my first tattoo done here and was fairly nervous. Jessica was amazing and made me feel at ease. She made sure I was comfortable and as relaxed as I could be before she started and to be honest I really didnt feel much of anything during the process. Very clean place and professional folks. Jessica answered all of my questions and made sure I was informed about aftercare and ensured me that she would be available for any questions that may arise during healing. I strongly recommend going to her especially if this is your first time. Her portfolio is amazing and Im in love with my piece. I walked out of the shop already planning my next tattoo!

I did my research. Looked at hundreds of pics (because Ive had ENOUGH bad tattoos!) and even though I live in NC, I decided THIS was where I wanted my next tattoo done. My artist was Jason. a very pleasant, professional man (who was not at ALL slimey, like -in my experience- I have found the majority of male tattoo artists to be). I made an appointment for the next day. Drove almost three hours and IT WAS WORTH IT!!! Exceptional work, great conversation, zero pain, perfect professionalism. Gave me exactly what I wanted, didnt try to up-sell me anything.Myself and my husband will definitely be back!

An amazing, sterile, clean shop. I came here on 10/05/19 to get my first tattoo. My artist was Lindsey, and she was fantastic. Overall, the place has a spectacular atmosphere, artwork is displayed all over the walls. They have stalls to which if you are getting tattooed somewhere that is a little more intimate, you will have some privacy. I would highly recommend coming here. The photo attached to my review is my tattoo right after it was finished. :)

Zac Kinder is an amazing artist. He was super helpful when it came to designing my tattoo, and he was super nice about it being my first one as well. Everyone I talked to at the shop was nice and super helpful, I very highly recommend these guys!

I went there about a week ago and got my first tattoo. They set me up with jessica. Everyone was extremely nice. Jessica did my hip tattoo and not only was she so sweet the whole time and made sure i was comfortable, but she did an amazing job ! I’m absolutely in love, it came out exactly like the picture. And i have already had soo many compliments on it. I will definitely be back for my others and will be requesting Jessica each time !

Zac did a big piece in my left leg that took about 11 hours. The tattoo is very detailed and colorful and Zac did an amazing job. It has been 2 1/2 years and it looks as good as it did on day one, and I get compliments all the time. I have recommended the shop to friends and family and they have all had good experiences. Whether it’s your first tattoo, or if you’re looking to add quality work to your collection, this is the place to do it.

This was my third tattoo, but first time at Main Street and it was my best experience yet! Setting up the appointment was a breeze over the phone. The moment we got there we were offered drinks and made very comfortable as we waited. Everything was super clean and tidy. Susan did both mine and my wifes and she was awesome. She was fun to talk to and an extremely talented artist. We were very happy with the results. If youre in the upstate and want a tattoo, go to here and ask for Susan!

From the moment you walk in the door you are treated like family. Very pleasant, friendly, front desk and just a great atmosphere in general. The selection of artists is AMAZING. The only problem you will run into is deciding which one you will choose to give you an amazing piece of forever art. To me, Lindsey stood out. I could not be happier with my decision. She is very personable, made me feel SUPER comfortable. And most importantly my tattoo turned out greater than I ever could have expected. The end result far surpassed my expectations and I will never go elsewhere for tattoos again. She is also pretty light handed so would be great for a first timer as well. Overall great experience from start to finish with every employee involved.

I researched tattoo cover-up artists for over a year before deciding on which artist to use. I was willing to go anywhere in South Carolina. I chose Jason Burris at Main Street Tattoo for his incredible work. He did not disappoint. He took something disastrous & turned it into something really beautiful. Not only do I recommend him, I will be back.The atmosphere in the shop was very laid back & relaxed. You can tell the people there really enjoy their work. Everything was exceptionally clean, which is of utmost importance. Main Street Tattoo gets a 5 star rating from me. I wish I could give them a 10. After picture attached.

Not sure about the artist here but the staff at the front desk seems not to even care you want a particular style type of artist. They dont take the time to talk to you and just point you to books and repeatedly say book an appointment and go back to looking at their tablet or computer. If a customer know what they want help direct them to the right artist (some are good at portraits while others better at cartoons) I saw them do this to several customers as there was a lot of foot traffic and no one was in a booth as they had just opened. What happened to treating ppl like humans and not just opportunities to make money?

First let me preface this that I hardly ever leave a review. I recently decided it was time to get my first tattoo. I asked around and all my friends who have tattoos immediately referred me to Main Street. I don’t know what I thought a tattoo shop is suppose to be, but this place blew me away. From the attentiveness of the staff, to the owner fitting me into his schedule, I can see why my friends only rave about this place. I definitely will be back! Thanks guys!

I was looking for a place that would take a last minute walk in so I called and they were able to take me in less than an hour, texted them a picture of what i wanted and once i got there they were amazing, the gentleman in the front was super friendly and my tattoo artist was awesome! The tattoo shop was extremely neat and clean. I didnt have an appointment, so I just walked in. The staff was very professional, polite, and helpful. They close at 10:00, and I got there around 8:30.James was my tattoo artist. This was my first tattoo. I told James exactly what I wanted, and where I wanted it. He showed me what I wanted to have done. I wanted some color added to my tattoo, James suggested that the tattoo should be a little bit bigger because I wanted some shading. I completely agreed with him.He just about doubled the size of my tattoo. Im very glad James did this because it wouldnt have looked as nearly as good otherwise. I filled out the paperwork, and James got started.My tattoo is on the inside of my right bicep. I didnt feel any pain, and James was finished in about 30 minutes. My tattoo looks great, and I will be returning to see James in the future.Overall, my experience was wonderful!

Lindsey was my tattoo artist and she did an A-maxing job! This was my second tattoo (both done here) and she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Very precise and clean. The atmosphere overall was good. They even gave me a bottled water on this hot day I will definitely come back and highly recommend Lindsey.

Apparently I just had to move to South Carolina and find another Simpsons nerd like myself, Zac Kinder at Main Street Tattoos, to do it for me.
