Hidden green space with walking and biking trails located just off Sunrise between Massapequa and Massapequa Park train stations. Theres a small lot to park in. The bikeway follows the creek all the way up to Bethpage. There is also a walking trail that cuts through the woods. Several ponds within the preserve with birds and other wildlife. Pretty nice place for a few hours outdoors without having to drive too far.

I love walking the preserve. Walked the south of sunrise side this weekend and spotted some nature I havent seen north if sunrise. Saw 2 frogs hanging out together. And on the way back to the north of sunrise side I even saw a swan laying on a nest!. We may have a new swan hatching in the preserve! I look forward to seeing that this summer.
