This section provides easy access to the many miles of bike and hiking trails in Massapequa Preserve. Free parking on gravel lot next to ball fields ... including some shaded spots. Highly recommended.

Sometimes you need to find a place that feels like your escaping from suburbia. This is one of those places. Walk around the lake, look at the geese and swans, explore some trails, or ride your bike around and enjoy the nature.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in massapequa. Assuming it isnt cold outside ! Good chance of seeing some wildlife and cool plants.

Mi

One of the best kept secrets in Massapequa. A beautiful park with a bicycle/walking path.

Al
Review №23

Nice change of pace from other parks. The lake is beautiful most of the time unless you see garbage wash up. Watch out for invasive beetles and seeds for an aquatic plant.

Ja

Nice shady grounds and not crowded

Jo

Grew up here. Nice for the family and for a nice quite alone walk if that is what is needed.

We loved our visit and short hike here. A thunderstorm cut short our visit, which included a chance for our dog to explore in the woods. You have to basically park in a neighborhood next to family homes (I wonder how those families feel about all these strangers coming into their cul de sac!). Lovely nature spot.

Good for pups to go and play. Make all of Long Island pet friendly fight for it people. Happy dogs equal happy people equal good Long Island not bad Long Island. Keep your dog off the bike path! Will get ticketed and youll have to pay Long Island to keep you away from their parks!! Blah blah blah
