It was a very nice, clean and gorgeous zoo and park. The bears were a lot of fun to watch swim and play. Thunder the cougar was a beautiful cat to admire. The whole family had a great time.

What a great place! The animals all had space and none were on just concrete in the cage. The cost is by donation and boxes are placed at the entrance. Dogs are not allowed in. There is a great pic nic spot with tables that is covered if you bring a meal. The bathrooms are clean and new. There is a nice information building with fun little kid activities. The snakes and bugs are in here. There is also a driving section to see more animals. You can also walk it. You see the coyotes, bison, deer and goats in here.

I love it here so much!! The Wildwood Zoo is an incredible place. First of all they are a rescue center which immediately gives them four stars! Second, the animals here are great!! The bears are by far the cutest!! Their enclosure is huge and that makes me so happy. The zoo take such food care of the animals!! It’s a short walk and not sweaty and long like big huge zoos! The prairie dogs are so funny and the birds are great too! A great fun, family friendly zoo that everyone can enjoy!! Don’t want to get out and walk? Do the drive through version and finish off your trip with the awesome wolf enclosure!! You can get so close to the wolves and it’s very cool!! Oh and the lights at Christmas are the coolest!!

This place was terrible! Ive never been a fan of zoos but this one was by far the worst one Ive been to. Its was extremely depressing. The wolves Id have to say were the worst. Im not sure if most of the animals there already have issues and that why they are there but the wolves were very skinny/malnourished and appeared disheveled as well as unhappy. Some of the enclosures were very small, too small for the animal they contained. These animals are deprived of space to exercise and use of their basic instincts. Id add photos if i had taken any. The coolest thing I saw was the butterfly enclosure. Probably about the best thing there.

Love to go and feed the ducks and geese there. I enjoy walking through the zoo and seeing all the animals there. Great photo opportunities to get some animal pictures in around the zoo and by the ponds. Nice dock and scenic tower by the upper pond to watch the sunset. Has a few swing sets around the park to let kids play with picnic tables around to sit at. Great place to have a family day.

Was looking for stuff to do with the kids and found the zoo. We visited not knowing what to expect and were quite surprised to see that it was a pretty decent size for a local zoo. There was a sign saying it was free entry but did ask for a donation so we put some money in their collection box and enjoyed the zoo. Got some decent pictures as well, even saw the bears playing around together and got a video of it.

A very nice small, free zoo (there are donation boxes for people to help out). The bear enclosure is quite large, and uniquely designed. They have cougars (the big cat area is currently being updated, so we didnt get to see the bobcat or lynx), wolves (good size enclosure with lots of hollow logs they like to run through, theyre very playful), foxes, and several large birds. Lots of flowers for butterflies, bees, and colorful beetles. A couple of pond areas, usually filled with ducks, geese, and seagulls. They have a couple sitting areas off the main path, but it looks like those may have taken damage from the recent storms.All-in-all, a very nice place to visit. A good place for children. Plan on spending around an hour. Theres also a park with a playground just outside the gates, and ice cream shop at the corner by the main entrance.

My last visit was to see the Christmas Lights. Quite delightful and also exciting for young children. Every year they add more to it, so if you havent seen it in recent years you will enjoy it again. They accept monetry and/or food donations to help with expenses and area food pantries. This makes Wildwood a year round attraction.

Still open and as far as our first drive thru zoo, in this time of COVID, its decent and free. They have buffalos, an albino deer, and timber wolves. The cars got a bit congested around the wolves but all the animals were visible. You can drive slow, park along the margin, and take pictures. I dont know much about timber/grey wolves but, it was concerning to see them sprawled out and enclosed. Maybe dehydrated? Maybe just bored? Im glad we went though, first time seeing any of these animals outside a book or movie. And you can apparently also bike through the drive thru zoo.

We stopped in this afternoon for a visit, and were lucky enough to watch a zoo employee feeding the birds~I didnt catch her name, but I was incredibly impressed with her knowledge and her explainations on when they feed the birds and why they feed them the type of food they do. She also had such cute, interesting facts about each of the birds we watched her feed. Thanks so much for making our day!!

The zoo habitat is such a refreshing sight to see. So much greenery for the wildlife versus other zoos with so much concrete. Beautiful flowers and many benches to sit and rest as there is a lot of walking there. I found it to be such a relaxed and peaceful zoo to be at. Fun for the whole family, cool animals and a nice place to walk around. If you need to kill time, or a fun place for 45 minutes, you can go here. They also have a drive around zoo if you dont want to get out of your car. In the winter, they have a Christmas light village. A pretty cool place overall.

So you wont get blown away. Its fine. Its a free zoo for crying in a bucket. They have a suggested donation jar at the gate. The animals were really active while we were there so that was cool. Saw the wolf and the kodiak bears in the same visit which probably a first. And the cougars looked pretty good. The duck ponds are all grown up in weeds and algae and not a duck in sight. Not allowed to feed them if they were there. So whatever. It was a nice walk. My son loved the prairie dogs. And the park outside the gates is really nice. You could go just for that.

The zoo was perfect for a fun morning with kids. The animals were very active and fun to watch. My kids enjoyed reading the info about the different animals and learning something new about each. The one big bummer was that they are doing construction so it made it a little difficult to navigate through, was a little loud and dusty in spots.
