As an elementary school kid, I loved visiting the school forest. I remember sitting around the bonfire, roasting smores and telling ghost stories before spending the night in the bunkhouse. The small totem pole and large bell are still exactly as I remember them from 2 decades ago. The benches down by the water make a nice picnic area. We heard several American Bitterns, frogs, and a variety of birds. The small island with bridge offers a nice spot to relax in the middle of the pond. Whenever we go there, the main gate is locked, so we have to park at the entrance and walk up the trail. We noticed quite a few nice bike trails, too.
Great place. Lots of hiking trails for beginner to more advanced people. Has a shelter in the area. The scenery through the trails is gorgeous. Lots of fun memories from school field trips as a kid there. Will be back again.
I like it here, could use a bit of maintenance though
Best mountain biking in the Marshfield area.

Beautiful forest with good walking/biking trails and a pond with a dock near the entrance
Skate and classic ski trails. Snowshoe and fatbike groomed trails also. Grooming is fantastic and trails usually in great shape.
