Ive been going to this particular skatepark ever since I was 6, and I love it. Ive seen it change over the years, from a small park with tiny wooden ramps, to a high class public skatepark for amateurs and pros alike. I do think that it isnt accessible for all riders, and a lot of the time parents just drop there kids off there on scooters, or just to play on it like a playground, which causes a lot of snaking (cutting off somebodys turn by riding in front of them, usually resulting in injuries to one or both riders), and can cause a couple of unfriendly reactions with immature and entitled parents. I personally find it better to go later in the day, other than right after school, but overall I find it a fun and safe environment for most, if not all riders.
Great park when not crowded with wee ones, so for great shredding go during school hours, or sunrise/ sunset.
This is a fantastic skate park. It can be crowded after school lets out, but it is designed to serve the novice and advanced skaters. It might be too crowded for hard core BMX tricksters but bear in mind we are talking about a municipal skate park and BMXers unfortunately, were probably an afterthought. That criticism aside, Hella good place for skaters, scooters and up and coming bikers.
One of the best town skate park Ive been to. It has something for everyone from absolute beginners to advanced skaters and riders. It can get crowded, though.
Fun layout great bowl and friendly people! BMX come at presumable hours that people are not around very small for bikes
