The property is an excellent momento from train history, and is an excellent reminder of how transportation plays an important role in how communities are developed along the train routes. When going into the tunnel that stretches below the train rails, the first door upon exiting the tunnel is the gift shop which you will have to discover while walking into the more modernized terminal booth, that will actually allow you to see the rest of the museum, however since I only stopped by serendipitously while visiting the town, I wasnt able to find out what it was entirely. Just adjacent to the train depot is The Ginocchio Hotel that would have been the first sight people see upon arriving via the station. Ill probably return again and update this review at some other time.
Enjoyed getting off to get lunch the place was nice and clean we got the food fast and it taste great
My first multi state train trip started in Marshall in May 2019. I thought it was cool how you had to take a tunnel to get to the main depot. Not to happy with the way the lobby looked. Very old and dirty furniture. It reminded my of a old bus station. It needs a major major upgrade. Hope more people take the train.
Nice place. But The trains run late
Nice place...friendly people! A young man that works there gave me a ride to the car rental agency!
No help for Handicapped travlers so hard to get to train, I was so nice when George was there, take me up in golf Cart
Train station has been in location for years. I visited the museum. A must visit when in Marshall.
For a small museum, it has much to offer. Very impressive, along with a small gift shop, its very nice. Something folor the kids, as well, including an indoor play area.
David is as helpful as he is good looking. ...lol.... so hes hot. ...sue me...
I truly enjoy riding the train
Lame as hell.
Its small town Texas. The trains frequently are delayed. There is not a lot of comfortable area. I recommend calling to see if a train is on time
Refurbishing station right now, will be better later
