Lyon County Historical Museum

This has always been my favorite place in town. Its always such a relaxing environment and great to inspire writing!

The Lyon County Museum is a wonderful place to visit throughout the year, but especially at Christmastime. There are many beautifully-decorated Christmas trees to look at and the Heritage Room has an extensive collection of nativity scenes on display.

WOW- what an excellent museum. Very bright and clean. Delicious Schwanns ice cream served at the soda fountain style snack bar. Make sure you stop by if you are in the area.

Fun local museum with lots of interesting bits about the country stuffed into a relatively small space. Dont forget to check out the basement for the log cabin and the jukebox in the main floor works! We had a good time checking it out.

Went for first visit last year when they were featuring vintage clothing and local business history in fashion. Awesome!
