From start to finish this experience was top notch, my wife and I count it among one of the greatest experiences of our lives . If you only take one tour in New Orleans take this one. Captain Kelly was our tour guide and he offered a perfect combination of information on local flora and fauna as well as anecdotes of life in the Louisiana swamp that only a life long dweller could have. If you want an up close encounter with wildlife this is the tour for you. Not only did we see wild alligators up close but Captain Kelly let everyone interact with a baby farm raised alligator he brought along just in case. The airboat ride was very pleasant and not as loud as I thought it would be. The boat is very comfortable and the ride is dry. If you decide to go ask for Captain Kelly, he kept us all laughing the whole trip.

We had a wonderful experience on our trip. Captain Kelly was great and he took a lot of pride in his job. He gave us a great tour and we saw numerous alligators and birds as well as bayou plant life. I would highly recommend these folks. The rates were great and I would definitely use them again. If you want a great air boat experience these folks are the best.

We went back in July. We were scheduled for the 2pm tour. We got there shortly after noon. They were very accommodating and asked if we wanted to catch the noon tour. They took us out to where the other boat was. Both tour guides were very nice and very knowledgeable. I am glad they were able to get us on the earlier tour. Although it did rain, CPT Kelly offered us a poncho. He had a very good sense of humor and made the tour fun! I highly recommend this place!

A very pleasant experience from booking the reservation to riding the small airboat. The people were so friendly and Captain Kelly was excellent with telling us about the area and wild life. He even surprised us with a baby alligator he brought on board in his cooler. This is definitely the highlight of our trip to New Orleans and I highly recommend this 90 minute tour. There is nothing like being out on the water with air blowing in your face while searching for alligators to feed!

We visited my daughter for the weekend. She is a student at Tulane University. We decided to take a Swamp Boat Tour and we had a fantastic adventure. Captain Kelly is the best guide. Had an awesome tour with Captain Kelly. Was beyond impressed with his knowledge of this amazing region. We did the small boat tour, which I highly recommend with a 10 and 13 year old. Captain Kelly stopped to point out amazing birds (which he also fed from the boat) and stopped for a total of about 8 alligators including on that was about 10-12 feeding them as well getting everyone (safely) very close to these amazing animals. He brought a small gator along with him and allowed those who wanted to hold it. Truly a special experience for our family and highlight of our trip to the region. Highly recommend this company and ask for Captain Kelly...you wont be disappointed!

This was an awesome tour. We had a great time with Captain Kelly. He was very informative an answered any questions we had. In addition to seeing the gators we also got to see an eagles nest and some other amazing birds that love marshmallows. They really do seem to care about their land and the safety of us and the gators. My daughters got to hold a baby gator that Captain Kelly had with him as well. This was an amazing experience for our kids to be able to see gators in their natural habitat instead of in a zoo. My kids were also wondering how Lewis is doing? Did not know what to expect on my first airboat tour in New Orleans. My wife and I had an incredible adventure cruising through the Bayou. DO IT!!! The Airboat tour is a must do, worth every penny. Only about 25min from the French Quarter. We had Captain Kelly as our guide. Before even leaving the dock 2 gators approached the boat. There was definitely no shortage of gators, of all sizes too. We came 2 days after a hurricane and a cold front. Captain Kelly made sure we got plenty of photo opps. He gave us some great history on the canal and Bayou, even gave us flowers. Every question asked he made sure to answer. He made the tour so much fun. Also, the homeaid wine is great

The highlight of my trip to New Orleans.The place offers 1:30 hours swamp tours. You have an option riding on either a big air boat or a small air boat (10 person capacity). I personally went with the small air boat. They can also arrange transportation from downtown to the swamp upon customer request.I enjoyed every second of the tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgable about the swamp and alligators and I enjoyed the interaction with the alligators and other animals in the swamp.If you are a tourist, I highly recommend that you give this place a try.

Amazing Tour!!! Captain John took us on a great tour full of excitement! Never a dull moment with Captain John! He is Extremely knowledgeable about the area and will answer every question you could have. He has been driving air boats since he was 13 and it shows! He put on a wonderful fun filled tour for my fiance and I and 6 other passengers who were lucky enough to be on Captain Johns boat! He made sure we saw as much wildlife as the time and temperature would allow. Had us all laughing the whole time. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place and 100/10 would recommend Captain John!

I have been on a swamp tour before and i always enjoy them.. i love seeing the wildlife and the environment.... but this time on the air boat i absolutely loved it it was a new experience.. i live in slidell but felt i was 1000 miles away!!! yah ive seen gators ive seen birds and such but on this ride we were deep in the marsh and i loved every second and like ive said ive been on swamp tours but our guide knew his stuff he was great freindly and we all enjoyed our little adventure... the only thing i want to know is why didnt i see turtles in the water?? is it to brackish???

One of my goals when vacationing to New Orelans was an air boat tour to see the alligators because thats what they are known for. Our tour guide was very informative and had a sense of humor which made the experience that much better. We seen around 7-9 alligators with them being all different sizes which was nice. I definitely recommend doing this tour when visiting New Orleans.

This tour is fantastic! Captain Ramone took us round his swamp in his boat telling us stories about every alligator we met. The captain told us a great amount of interesting alligator facts and took us to his favourite animal friends. We even got to hold a baby alligator and feed a huge male alligator. This was awesome!

I had a good time here, this tour takes up to atleast 2 hours and dont forget your sunglasses, something to wear on your face because it does get really sunny. You will 100% get to see crocodile here. They even had a baby crocodile for us to hold. Be sure to take a leak before you go on board. You can even drink beers before you leave for the tour but I would not suggest that since you will be on the boat for atleast 1 and half hour

This place is absolutely amazing at giving you a great experience. Its roughly a two hour tour through the Bayou. Our Captain was Chip, who is a fantastic guide that really made the experience awesome. Truly knowledgeable about the bayou, the effects of what its truly going on that is affecting the bayou ecosystem, and of course.... Alligators. Just go check this place out, you will not regret it!!

We had a truly memorable experience and would highly recommend using this company if youre considering an airboat tour. Captain Lane took us through some beautiful swamp and marshland, telling us all about the wildlife and ecosystem as well as revving the airboat a bit around some narrow channels! We got to see a bunch of gators, some of which were a good 10ft long.Id gladly go again with these guys and take the family next time!

Superb fun, picturesque, and very interesting.This tour was everything we had hoped for. In fact it was one of the high points on our 20 day road trip travelling through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee (from London UK).The Airboat is a great way to see the swamps and alligators. Capt. Kelly gave us an amazing 2 hours on the Bayou and showed great knowledge and sensitivity to the environment, recognising individual alligators. He even tempted a purple swamp bird to come to him and feed from him.We were traveling with elderly parents. The boats are easy to access and don’t have steps making it ideal for older folks too.Thanks Capt. Kelly for an amazing trip on our 21st anniversary.

We went on the 10 a.m. small Airboat tour with Capt Kelly and it was amazing! The swamp was beautiful, like a floating meadow with purple water hyacinth in bloom. There were fish jumping and all kinds of birds (egret, heron, ducks and a very colourful one that I forget the name of). We were lucky and saw lots of alligators too (never a guarantee with wildlife).Capt Kelly grew up on the bayou, was knowledgeable and funny, and knew the gators by name. I loved his stories, especially helping gators who needed teeth pulled.I felt the wildlife and property was respected and protected, and not exploited.
