Nice park. The equipment is in good shape. Needs mulch replacement.Took our 3 yr old to play. Not busy. Enjoyed the other kids. People who visit need to clean up before leaving. Visited with a police officer in the area.

Beautiful park. Great play ground. We came to a birthday party at Garfield park and it was perfect.

Cute playground right off US23 for a chance to stretch the legs. Bummer the bathrooms are closed right now, but area was very clean.

Park is clean there is a baseball diamond you can call and reserve. Horse shoe pits, a playground that is a little old but plenty safe for children . Swings and about a acre of spacious wooded area you can walk around with the kids. The public restrooms are sometimes a pain to catch open and not the most up to date but overall one of the better parks in Marion

I wasnt at Garfield Park. Ive been there its a nice park 1 baseball diamond quite a few things for the kids to play on they get a horseshoe pit there when nobody else ever has. The park is kept clean plenty of shade or the trees the shelter is nice do you use. I love sitting there underneath one of the trees on a bench and watch the squirrels run around it seems like they got more squirrels at Garfield Park than any of the park in Marion. So if youre looking for a park to go to this summer rent a shelter or not but go to Garfield Park youll enjoy yourself have fun

We love this park. Has a wheelchair accessible playground. Baseball softball fields benches that parents can sit down clean restrooms.

The park itself is pretty neat; theres just not a whole lot to it. Theres an area where you can play horseshoe, a shelter and picnic tables, a basketball court, softball field, playground, and public restrooms.

This is the best park in Marysville not many people come out here I can relax and clear my head

A nice quiet park where you can comfortably see your children playing. I like the visibility and openness if the structures. Wish there was a bench near the play area that was shaded. It was a bit difficult to sit with my baby while the big kids played.

It is a good park for anyones needs. It has basketball, a playground, empty space, and softball field.

The park is nice, it has swings and stuff for the kids, and any evening during the week you can catch a slow pitch softball game at the diamond.!

I would give this a much higher rating if they would fix an update the restrooms..but the kids do like the play area.

A play ground, baseball feild with bleachers, horseshoe pit, basketball pentagram and a ton of room to run around or walk the dog. Plus if you play Pokemon go there is a gym and 4 pokestops.

They have a shelter house, a ball field, playground, basketball court, horseshoe areas, bathrooms, and usually porta pots thru fall off season after bathrooms are locked. Picnic tables available and nice shady spots. I even see people run their dogs there. My kids pick this part the most because it seems low traffic most of the time.

Need more things for Toddlers,seems like all of marion dont have much for smaller kids...Also wish the bathrooms where open all year round. GREAT PARK a lot of space not being used tho.

I only played on the softball/ baseball field, so the rest of the park may be great, I dont know.... but I did know that this is one of the WORST softball/ baseball field Ive ever played on... uneven ground (infield & outfield) unsafe to play on unless you watch your every step and then you cant play your sport if your watching the ground all the time...

As far as size goes, this one isnt very big. There is a picnic shelter, that has to be reserved through the Marion City Parks Dept. The playground equipment is so-so and the basketball courts are a little rough. It has a softball field that also has to be reserved and there is an area where you can pitch horseshoes. There used to be an ice cream shop across the street from it but I think it is currently closed up and for sale. Not much else in this area.
