I have seen many performances here and I have to say they never fail to provide that great entertainment value. The location and size of the venue is perfect and there is not a single bad seat in the house. No traffic, plenty of parking and a great location adds to what makes it great. As an added note, I just saw Oliver and it was such a fantastic performance from an amazing cast.

Have had season tickets with my mom for a couple of years now...I have never been disappointed in the quality of the show or the friendliness of the staff and volunteers. Definitely a high quality regional theatre with unbelievable talent! Tickets are reasonable. Parking is good 90% of the time, but there are occasions where something else is going on in the complex (cheerleading competition or a bazaar of some sort) and the lot will be full. Not a deal breaker, usually they email us to let us know what’s going on and to plan ahead for the congestion. Highly recommend!!

I couldnt help myself but to post a review to specifically counteract a reviewer that gave the JTA Theater a poor rating. Whenever I encounter a rating that is in direct contrast 95% of the ratings of the other reviewers, I always look at the page of the lone reviewer --usually it happens with everyone giving 5 stars and a single one star. Which is the case in this instance: All 5 star ratings with the except of a single 1 star rating. I clicked on the reviewers name that gave this theater one star and looked at her other reviews. If you are concerned about this one poor review, I suggest that you also check her other reviews. While she has 74 reviews, I noticed that in three separate reviews of three different restaurants, she stated for each one that it was the worst burrito shes even eaten... All THREE times. She is complaining that a parking lot that has spots for 52 cars in total only has 12 handicapped spots: Really? Most parking lots do not have anywhere near 23% of their spots allocated as handicapped as the JTA Theater does! She complains about handicapped parking at several other businesses as well. Like this reviewer, I, too, am concerned about and need to have chair accessible parking. She specifically stated in a review that her spouse uses a wheelchair, and yet, shes angry that one business has the H spaces on the side of the building where a gradually sloped sidewalk/walkway is all on one level so that it accommodates WCs, but those spaces are not the absolute closest spaces to the businesss front doors: She stated the spots directly in front of the entrance needs to be the handicapped spots ---> Well, I am very familiar with the business she is referring to as it has a set of 4 stairs/steps that must be climbed to access the front entrance from the front parking spaces. Unless Elon Musk has designed a new, autonomous stair-climbing wheelchair that I havent heard about, no wheelchair, including her spouses, can climb those 4 steps at this business. She gives less than a handful of 5 stars out of her 74 total review, and shes a 5 star or 1 star with little in between reviewer. Also, no one business can receive 5 stars from her if they dont offer a military discount based upon her husbands time in the service. I realize that when her spouse was on active duty military, they would have likely lived almost adjacent to a military base, and military discounts are given by many, if not all, of the surrounding businesses as both a way to show appreciation but also because most of the businesses near a military base would fold if not for the soldiers and their families using their business. However, she is in Metro Georgia where businesses are not at all dependent on active-duty military to keep their doors open. She even complains that shell never return to a particular gas station because it gives a small discount if fuel is purchased in cash, and she pays by card-- This to save exactly 50 cents for 10 gallons of fuel. Businesses have to pay a % of the total in sales that are processed using a credit or debit card. THEREFORE, I actually appreciate these gas stations who pass along their own savings from cash sales to their customers! She has several reviews from different McDonalds restaurants and consistently gives them 1 star AND it appears she gives a poor score for the same identical meal item that she orders from each of the McDs-- Cmon! Youve eaten that same sandwich 4 times at 4 different McDonalds; Did you really think it was going to taste different the fifth time around?!I think the seating at this theater is laid out wery well. There are zero seats with an obstructed view and the tickets are priced well below similar seats for similar shows at the Cobb Energy Center (approx $35/seat), and while the JTA Theater cannot compare the Fox & its acoustics, the ticket prices & the audience seats distance from the stage cannot justify the huge difference in ticket prices between the JTA Theater and the Fox. Dollar for Dollar, Id prefer to see 6-7 shows here than 1 at the Fox!!

I cant rate it any lower! !! NO more SPLOST! No parking for more than 12 handicap. If more than one event is scheduled you have to park across the street and cross. I voted for streets and got sidewalks, so I will not vote for parks and recreation! !!!! Why should I pay taxes for something that causes traffic jams, excessive crowds, and you cant get in even if you have a ticket. Boy, has cobb county pulled the wool over our eyes. They have an open checking account to spend what ever they want and then tell us it is wonderful. I used to enjoy the Lyric, not now
