I was surprised at how nice this gallery is. I expected a much different atmosphere. Amber does a good job of making art accessible to everyone. I ended up buying two pieces the first night I was there, and then had to come back to buy another piece that I didnt originally intend on buying. Based on what Ive seen they have a personal relationship all their artists, and love to tell you about them. I wouldnt consider myself an art connoisseur but I do know what I like when I see it. The other great thing I didnt realize before going there is that their website is updated in real time. If you see a piece on the website and it doesnt say sold, you can be confident that its still available. I believe its that kind of attention to detail that sets the Markay Gallery aside from their competition. Its worth a visit, even to just admire the art.

Unique collection of fine art and functional art. Unlike any gallery Ive ever visited! Love the openness, light, diversity of work, creative curating and warmth of the Markay team. Definitely a place Ill return again and again! Plus the lower gallery would make a great event space so Im keeping it in mind for the future.

Markay is fabulous. The friendly staff and gallery owner are a total delight. We attended one of their open nights for Mothers Day and were so impressed by the charm of this place. Go visit if youre in the area and make it a part of your night out to dinner, its the perfect place to stop in on a beautiful summer night

FUNCTIONAL art... from beautiful furniture, usable glassware, and bookshelves to man cave items including an amazing barn door room divider, heavy-duty patio serving table, to a high-top table made of gears, gauges, and tools! Worth the short one-block walk from Marietta Square!

The staff at Markay Gallery are really setting a standard for customer service. They not only have an amazing selection of art but they are constantly innovating ways to bring the customers in for activities WITH the artists. I have had a fantastic overall experience.
